hey, you know, i have a thought...

I tried this at another forum but it didn't work out but how would it be if one of us started an anime quiz thread where we just like ask a question, then wait for someone to answer it and ask another question. I think it would work out better here.. :)

-First, very few people here in GTP likes anime. :(

-Second, few people who likes anime are not hardcore enough (like me). :p

BTW, Motoko is one of my top pick anime chick, but Mitsune (aka. Kitsune) is more of my type (look at her pom-pom's :D).

oh well I havn't tried it here, obviously, it was at another forum thats actually started as a japanese model thing but then kinda turned into a whole japanese culture thing, even having a whole anime subforum... but it failed misreably... last question that was asked was what did Shinji turn into in one episode of NGE and no one knew... and most people there had seen the series several times and a whole episode was dedicated to it.. :dunce:

Well, Mitsune/Kitsune is nice, but she drinks a lil too much for my type.. and really Motoko isn't my type per sey... I mean.. she can kick your butt and look good doing it (especially in the ep where she had to fight mecha-tama in that dress ;)) so thats kinda hot.. but... usually I don't like that.. *shrugs*

My top list of girls, in no particular order is Motoko, Shinobu, Chii, Belldandy, D, Rei, Hyatt.. and thats all I can think of off the top of my head :sly:

EDIT: I actually got the avatar from a poster I have.. I took it down and scanned it (quite a chore...) and cropped it on the PC haha. 👍

episode 20 after he got trapped in the EVA when it "broke out" and like kicked off most of the armor. The whole time they were trying to get him to turn back into human again and so forth...

Ok, well I just want to say that Kira's ability to pilot the Strike Gundam after the little seed thing snaps or whatever is just unbelieveable. His ability to move the Gundam, dodge enemy fire, and just anything in general with the Gundam is just amazing. The power he wields and his abilities make him a very formidable opponent for his enemies. So in closing, I would have to say that so far of what I have seen of Gundam SEED I like.
 
Well it's that time again.

Only this week I am posting before Inu Yasha comes on.

Not exactly sure why, but I just didn't feel like waiting.

What bothers me about tonight is the same thing as last week's post. The highlights of my saturday cartoons (w/o IY) are not cartoons of anime origin.

First was Teen Titans. 👍
Great show.

Next, Justice League Unlimited. 👍 👍
This was an awesome show. Not so much for the all star cast or the always present action.
Actually, tonight was an awesome episode for another reason.

Not sure if any of you saw it, but the entire JL was turned into a group of children.
Same costums and same powers, only smaller. :)

Batman and wonder-woman started showing signs of romance again.
Superman showed his usual display of power, and the others... Well, they were all cool too.

But the thing is, they were all kids so it was really funny.
I hope you all caught it cause it really was worth it. 👍

Finally, yu yu hakashu.
Not a great episode again. :(
Sadly, it was just some geek playing mind games with yoko/kurama.
Nothing special came out of it, but hopefully after another 2 or 3 weeks things will start to get a little more exciting.
For now though, it's just not very good IMO. Too bad too cause I really do like yu yu.

That's about it for now, however, Inu Yasha will be coming on pretty soon and once that happens there is a good chance that I will come back and post again.

Then again, I might just wait till tomorrow. :indiff:

You are right, gundam seed wasn't too bad tonight... and that says a lot since I'm not really a fan of the show.
 
Well I have not been watching Gundam SEED for about the first couple of episodes and then I decided I would watch it to see how good it is. Well the couple of episode where Kira goes nuts with his abilities were just awesome and have kinda got me hooked on watching the rest of the series.

I sure do wish I would have caught tonight's episode of Justice League Unlimited. I watched it the past two weeks and liked it a lot for the most part. But tonight a couple friends came over and we were playing Halo and Colin McRae Rally 04. Halo was actually kinda boring tonight because it was just me and two others. Plus it does not help that I easily dominated the other two players. Colin McRae was pretty much the same, though a little of a struggle for me since I had played it a while and was a touch rusty with the game. Now that it is after the fact, I wish I would have watched JL instead.

No problem though, keep an eye out for it tomorrow and maybe with luck it will air during the week.

Even if none of the above occurs, you will still get the chance to watch it when they move the Unlimited series to weekdays (which I assume they will eventually do).

Inu Yasha just ended.
Oddly, it wasn't what I thought it would be.
In fact, I was expecting another non-main story based episode with no content. Instead of that, I got the first part of what looks like at least a 2 part story.

Looks like it's gonna be a good little story too.
It seems naraku created another demon and it seems to have a thing for Kagome.

Only next week's episode will tell, but for now and until next week, I will be looking forward to seeing what happens.

Since I'm trying to avoid giving away all the details I am going to leave my comments at what they are.

Funny in a sense since I remember a long time back we all started talking about the art we did in RL.

Well guess what, I finally got to use my dads scanner.
Too bad I never got the time to draw anything!

However, I still had old stuff.
Unfortunately, not many people like the character, but hey whatever... I went through a phase. :lol: ;)

That's not bad at all GoKents! If I were to try and draw anything, I would get frustrated and stuck on a part of the drawing and give up.

NK4E, that stuff is great! I read about 50 something pages of it and got to be laughing pretty hard at times. Seems like there is a pretty good amount of pages.
