I'm using a 2011 15" Macbook Pro with a 2.2 GHz i7, 4 GB DDR3, and an AMD Radeon 6750M with 1 GB dedicated RAM to watch my anime with.

No it isn't I have less than 200 gigs free lol. Besides I think Walter has more hard drive space. I also have a little 240gig external with random crap on it.


I want a 120gig SSD for Windows and another 2TB hard drive to hold me over for a while.

What's there to gloat about? My graphics card is noticeably better than yours. :sly:

You've got the upper hand in RAM and screen resolution. And in the fact that your Blu-ray drive is built-in, whereas I have an external one.

My current laptop is actually a downgrade in a lot of ways from my old IBUYPOWER laptop, which had a 1080p screen and a built-in Blu-ray drive. And an even better graphics card. My current laptop's prettier, half as thick, and has a .5 GHz faster i7 though. :lol:

Just go all out and do what I did: Build a 9 TB RAID array. 👍
Sure, it cost me $800, but it was sooooo worth it. :p

Why would I want a depressing 5 year old laptop when I've got a 6-month old laptop whose only depressing quality is how much it cost me? :p

Well, my laptop may be old, but it fits the bill for what I do. I intended on building a custom desktop. I don't game, so nothing really fancy. At least an i5 with 4 GB of ram and I'll be happy.

Do it! I just rebuilt my desktop last may. Motherboard, videocard, RAM, power supply, and cooler for just under $800 but that was for gaming. You say you're not going for that so it should be even cheaper for you! My previous setup was about 4 years old.

I finished season 1. Going to start season 2 after F/SN and Yosuga No Sora.


No joke I read is as hymen first and was very confused. Not even trying to be weird that's how I read it. Anyway why is your hyphen in the wrong spot?
 
Yeah I could probably get it done for around $500 I think. If I can find a computer place locally I'll buy the case from there since that would be the most expensive thing to ship to Hawaii.
