The most Westernised Con I've ever been too - out of two! - and I still managed to buy nothing but Anime stuff. I can't lie, a part of me was debating one of the awesome Madoka Magica dolls on sale, but I think it'd be a bit awkward to try and explain to my parents.

There were no Gurren Lagann DVDs. My disappointed sadness cannot be overstated.

Also, Yoko's boobs are being silly again. My friend was watching Highschool of the Dead on the train to and from London, and I have to say that every time I glanced at his screen I saw fanservice to the max. Has anyone else seen this? He was telling me that it was actually very interesting, but by the bath scene in episode...7 or so, was getting really tired of the fanservice barrage.

So subtle.

High School of the Dead is like that, yes. But what would possess him to watch it on a London train?? I travel on those a lot and I barely try anything close to that.

If I'm on a London train I'm usually contemplating more interesting ways to get to my destination next time.
Or I'm on my phone (which is Sanae Kochiya-clad to be fair).

Before the WC final I was looking up this and that of Sanae. Today I've resorted to watching a collection of J.T. Sexkik's videos, which are all absolutely brilliant.

@CoffeeGrunt Gainaxing at its finest.

Certainly wouldn't on the Underground. Inter-city trains offer enough privacy to get away with such risky business depending on where you sit, though.

I was on a London train earlier today. I watched the newspaper.

Was it an old copy of the Daily Moe?

Please don't. It would be terrible if you got into it.

Rail Wars has an awesome sounding title, and it is of course trains. But apparently I'm supposed to stay for the chicks...what does Tumblr know though.
Oh please, it isn't actually bad sounding. Everything's worth a try unless it's a copy of something else, and nobody is stupid enough to copy KanColle :P

God, how awful would that be? You're on the Victoria line, travelling through Central London and yet you can find the time to stick on HSotD.
Mind you, the sheer awkwardness of doing so will at least make other passengers move away. So you have more room to move in a rush hour.

Except the concept of sticking all girls on a genre has been done before. And much better than KanColle manages.

C-ZETA please, you're such a party pooper :P
But honestly. Since they won't make anything official for Touhou Project, I'm just going to hope that KanColle turns out with at least a medium-sized budget.

COULD KYUBEY RIP OFF BRITISH SOVEREIGNTY?

ARE WITCHES MAKING BRITAIN'S FARMERS IMPOTENT?

ARE MAGICAL GIRLS RUINING BRITAIN'S SWANS?

I really wish that I could make a version of the Daily Mail-o-matic with switched out inputs so as to create a completely new version. Or whatever I actually meant.

People with no lives nothing more productive to do.

You can sure bet someone who's kept occupied by their full-time job, responsibilities, committments, spouse and/or kids wouldn't have that much time to watch so much. Those who don't have to deal with any of these if not all convert that occupied time to occupy TV shows.

That or you just convert the time you use to sleep to watching shows. Most youngsters do this anyway. They trade in the time the body requires to recharge to get more stuff done every 24 hours. Short-term benefit, long-term health effects.
Pretty much that. Back when I was in high school, one year I was getting in like 100 episodes of anime a week. Though these days with me slacking (Thanks Twitter among other things...), I've been getting regularly 50 which for me is not good. It leads to me further falling behind on my schedule. My on-hold list has practically tripled in size in the past year.

Yeah, I'm in high school right now and I've been watching 25 or more ep's per week. Now it's summer break and I can watch even more. Though I'll probably need to cut down when school starts again. So eventually I'll end up in the same situation as you are now.

Man you guys watch a lot... I have to force myself to go out every day now, remember what the real world outside of my computer screen is like
