Talked to the girl a little today. She said my hair was soft after deciding to feel it. So far things are going good, only have two days to ask her number next week before school goes out, so wish me luck!

Never had a gf and nearly 21 man I got to get cracking on this relationship thing :p.
You're not the only one man

Funny how the cycle of 'XX y.o. and still nothing' likes to repeat itself in this thread.

First someone says 'XX y.o. and still nothing'.
A few guys follow.
A few more guys tell something along the lines of 'you will find someone, do not worry'
Then, a few stories get told how different situations come out, like she's doing this and that and whether it indicates she's interested.
Then I pop in and tell my boo-hoo sad story.
Then this thread's usual guys tell how it's been going for them recently.
Then someone says 'XX y.o. and still nothing'
A few guys follow.

Repeat until The Prophecy of the End Days comes true.

You forgot two important additions:

  • Members who attempt e-brags ("I gets the wimmenz").
  • Members misconstruing social media interactions ("OMG she liked my picture on Instagram!") as legitimate interactions.

Of course, one tends to be vastly more common than the other :p

That is so true.

Never, ever think instagram as a proof that a girl has interest in you. I think the members here need to keep remember that. Except MAYBE if she only liked posts and pictures from you.... Even that isn't legit enough to be an interactions lol

This dat wasnt that bad. I got drunk, got invited to a party and got even more drunk and nabbed a number :D:D

Edit: I don't think tonight is over.

Stank facing at tryhards

I seem to have a problem in that while I know long distance relationships almost never work out I keep chasing after them. I've been chatting again with a girl I met about 4 years ago and we recently met up along with a couple of other friends when I went to Sydney.

We hit it off quite well I reckon, we're both shy but we seemed to pretty much click immediately despite being pretty much separated by a computer screen with no faces to names for the better part of 4 years. However I still have to come to terms with the fact that as opposed to me being the country guy she lives a good couple thousand kays away in one of Australia's most expensive cities.

Long distance relationship work great at first because you only really get to show the other person what you want them to see. Everyone's a perfect partner! Then they fail miserably because you need to connect consistently to grow a relationship. You can start a good many relationships long distance. It's just really difficult to continue them.

So, I'm in an interesting situation right now... The girl I maybe like, maybe, is sick. She has an appointment with a doctor, but afterwards, we might hang out. She said so, so... ;)

Lol my ex said she was sick. The next day she become my ex. :indiff:
No, like, she actually is sick. Because of confidentiality, I won't discuss too much, but I'll just say that she's got plenty of doctors looking out for her.

The thing is, I can't think of someone more unlikely for that stuff to happen to, except that she's only like 5' tall, meaning that she's naturally cute, and naturally susceptible to certain things... Unfortunately.

I think it's safe to say that i have moved on (a bit unorthodox on how i did it but whatever). I know its nothing special but man i'm looking forward to meet someone new. Yeehaw !

I think the girl I'm going for is perfect. Like 10/10 in every category.

*sigh* if only I was like that. :c

I was going to ask her today, but my other friend pulled me away to talk about stuff the moment I was about to ask her. Excuses, I know. *sigh*

It appears my friend (the one I made the slapping bet with) will need to slap me twice. Hopefully afterwards, I'll be a bit more confident. 👍

Played Cards Against Humanity with her today, which was great. Nothing like a lack of moral fiber for a few minutes!

Hopefully I can ask her number by Friday....

Am I the only one that has to be somewhat drunk from time to time to actually make a move? Along with the somewhat numbing of pain from being drunk is the ability to be numb from rejections.

Her: " I don't really like you"

Me: " That's ****ing awesome :D"

Meh, it's easier to do when merrymaking has ensued, but I'm usually way off my game in that state.
