A lot going on with me lately. I've changed school and made new friends and such. But I'm yet to meet a nice girl. But since thursday that me and another girl have been glancing each other a lot. But I'm a disaster and I can't interpretate those glancings and I can't find the guts to start a conversation. Can anyone give me some advice please?

If you're looking at her during class, and she catches you, DO NOT LOOK AWAY. Lock eyes and after a couple of seconds, smile.

It shows confidence. After class, or after school, talk to her.

I know, easier said than done, but go with the flow. Don't over think things.

It's been awhile since I posted here. I checked now, and it been 2 months since I made my last post on this thread, time really flies...

On this Saturday, I hang out with some of my friends and there it was the girl that I already talked about here, a few pages ago. Although she's not a major part of my life, I still can't forget her..
And, out of the blue, on Sunday, she spoke to me on Facebook, something we haven't done in months.
It was about something pointless which got me confused about what she pretends...

If I'm in the right mood, tomorrow I'll try to talk to her. I haven't got a clue it this means something or not. (Or maybe I'm trying to give this a meaning...)

Yep, I've been doing that belive it or not :sly:. Problem is, she isn't in my class, otherwise it would be so much easier, and don't feel confortable talking to her because she's with friends most of the time.

There are some odd and crazy women out there. I looked up at this woman and she gave me a look of ****ing disdain. Sucks because she wasnt bad looking.

For those of you that are having problems in your dating and relationship lives, dont worry, she probably already thinks you're creepy.
 
Funny how i keep coming back to GTP everyday just to see this thread and Auto News instead of GT itself (i skipped GT6 and haven't played GT series in 2 years).

I think i need to go back in action, things have been pretty calm late. No new crush, sometimes the memories of the girl that i used to really care about keep coming back and i'd like to close that chapter for good and start a new one. Sometimes i feel like i need to talk about it with some of my female friends who doesn't know anything about it so i could know about their opinion.

I thought about blocking the girl from all my contacts and social media (FB, Line, Instagram etc) but this puts me in a very difficult position as both of us have so much mutual friends. Avoiding her and all is really hard as everytime they want to hangout, the girl will almost always come along and right now i just don't want to do anything with her. As much as i moved on, sometimes i still think about her, albeit not as much as i used to which is great. The process of moving on is really hard eh.

Talk to your female friends about it to get their perspective on it but be cautioned.

1. Don't badmouth your ex, you'll just look bitter and they'll think you're an ass.
2. Don't be mushy and wishy washy and whiny when talking about the ex. Be a man. Tell your friends you really cared for her but it's over and you want some advice on how to move on and get through the next little while from their perspective. It's ok to look a little vulnerable, briefly, just don't go in like a blubbering idiot because they'll comfort you and tell you not to worry you're a great guy and all that and you'll feel great about it, but they'll think you're a little baby and probably tell all their girlfriends about it and you'll likely end up in the "friend zone" with all of them. As much as women say they want a man to express their emotions, they don't really mean crying like a baby at stuff like this.
IMPORTANT RULE: When you are talking to a woman "friend" about personal issues in confidence, you are really talking to all of her friends at the same time! Never forget you are playing to an audience and it's even more true in the age of social media.

My advice would be to suck it up and be a man about it, and continue to interact with the ex or her friends or your mutual friends on social media and have nothing but nice things to say about her. She's wonderful, smart, funny, she was a great girl blah blah blah. Avoid the drama by not creating any, ignore any trash talk on her part if any, you'll come off smelling like a million bucks, everybody wins. Act like the man you want to be even if at the moment you don't feel like that way, and you will become the man you want to be.
 
Its not exactly an ex, but i really cared about her back then. The female friends that i said have got nothing to do with her, they dont even know her.

Nah i'm just gonna talk to my female friends the honest truth, no badmouthing because there's no use at all, i don't like badmouthing people. I also won't ask for any advice about how to move on from them. Just want to talk about it briefly as a topic you know, like just something to talk about when hanging out.

myself if i'm ready to interact with her again or not. I still talk a lot with the mutual friends on social media for sure. I should tell you that i don't consider the mutual friends as best friends or stuff like that since i distance myself from them because the fact is that they're kinda a bunch of douchebags. They know about me and this girl but they keep telling her how i can't literally live without her and basically unpurposely making her feel superior even though it's not exactly true.

I never told them about how i actually trying to distance myself from her because it would be a disaster.

Finding time for women is hard for me. Really, I'm usually cooling out at home, but whenever a woman takes interest in me, I find it annoying. Quite literally, this girl had her ass in my face and I didn't really look.

It's so obvious to pick up when someone like you. Sometimes I'm just a dick and sort of ignore any of their advances. Really, I just like it when a girl comes up just chills and talks with you instead of this flirt-sy obvious ****.

There was a moment a day ago. I was studying and this girl kind-of awkwardly walks toward me, I noticed her out of the corner of my eye and she stood there talking to me for a second. (I didn't hear what she was saying because I had my headphones on blasting this) I honestly didn't know what she was doing and I was spaced out doing my homework and reading for my next class while cooling out to Nujabes/Uyama/Shing0. I looked up to her and she was really enthusiastic about me giving her the time.. Now, I know I started the little altercation we were having because I gave her a look while working, I made that Obama "Not bad" face and went back to work, so she had to notice that. Another thing is, we have so much access to the time, there were clocks all over this little area lol. Well, she was a pretty, slender brunette with a nice sense of fall style that honestly gets me going. I don't know. She was cute, but for some reason, I felt annoyed.

Touche'. Let me rephrase. When you are talking to a woman "friend" about personal issues in confidence, you are often talking to all of her friends at the same time. Always be aware you may be playing playing to an audience and it's even more true in the age of social media. Unless of course your friend is already a close confidante and has proven trustworthy in the past. Same goes for male friends, I mentioned women in this case because the poster was about to talk to a woman friend.

Yes every woman is different but a prudent person exercises caution based on experience. It's not always good practice to open your heart to an untrusted and unproven "friend", especially if that friend may have conflicting loyalties between you and your ex-girlfriend. It can and often does, lead to disaster so one needs to be selective and exercise good judgment in delicate situations such as this.

No you can talk to them. Today there was this cute girl bawling her eyes out. No one wanted to know why, but people were shooting her different looks. Most were laughing. I don't find a person's distress funny.

I approached her, sat down on the bench, and ever so slightly gave her a hug. Told her it's going to be alright.

She stopped crying, looked up, and gave me a hug. Then cried on my shoulder.


In retrospect, what I did was incredibly stupid and really risky. But it worked out. She felt better after she got it off her chest. Gave her my number, went to class.

This is the problem in North America. A lot of women don't have no one to turn to, or just aren't confortable with the idea of talking. So they bottle it up and go on with their lives until it becomes too much. I can't talk to a girl here just for the sake of talking because they're really closed up.

Well, with the many things being plastered on the internet about that cat-calling **** is really making some of the younger women our ages act defensively towards men when they're out in public. That stuff only makes them feel even more vulnerable and honestly, I don't even think it helps naturally. Sure, women are more vulnerable to harassment, but if some can't be comfortable with a man coming up to them and talking to them without thinking they're automatically going to harass or rape them, then honestly, American society is just starting to fail.

There is that golden rule of treating people like the way you want to be treated, which it's basically asking for equality. We need to just talk to each all like humans sometimes, and that's what I've been stressing for a-lot of you in this thread. Speak to women like they're just another one of your friends. You can treat them like they're special, but don't forget that they're like many of the people that you converse with instead of some holy figure from the skies who were crafted by the gods

Honestly some guys treat them like game, and some think of them as godesses that will rip your head off if you do the ritual wrong.
 
Haven't updated my situation in a while;

Been talking to a girl for about a month or so now and we have quite a few things in common -enough to have a conversation - and seem to be on a similar wavelength on things. She's going to university next year and her first choice is rather close to where she lives so it's ideal for us.

Been on a few dates and she is really nice, pretty funny and really cute so I'm gonna head down this route and see what happens but I'm feeling pretty excited about it this time around, whereas the other girls I went on dates with this year, I've not felt any excitement.

If it's her feelings, it's your call. When you're the one talking about your own feelings, just talk to your best friend.
 
Today, my brain had just ignited a stupid idea about how i should anonymously give some roses to the girl that i used to like who is now being treated at the hospital for some stomach problems. Now i have the urge to do it but i don't want to do it. The idea is to give one or more roses to her by having on of the nurses give it to her and the nurse must not tell her that i'm the one that give her the roses. 🤬 Me...

We haven't talk for a long time (and for a good reason). I even avoided giving her a visit with her friends because i don't feel like seeing her at all but now i feel guilty for not visiting her. I know you guys will tell me to man up and just visit her but really, i don't feel like it at all. Gosh i'm so 🤬 Weird.
 
Well, if you have pre existing communications with her, do it. And dont do it anonymously.

Its not like you're a creepy guy who has never talked to her.

This. ^ It'll show her you're the bigger person and you do care.

If she questions you, just say you thought you'd give her a nice gesture because she's in hospital.
 
But then she would feel happy, in a bad way, because she thinks i still like her. She would think that she can still take advantage of me. It's one of the reason i don't want to talk to her at all. Just want to stay away from her

And then there's some people who think i'm still in love with her, even though i'm not anymore.
