First question: What is her classes that she's really busy in? (not an insult to her intelligence at all) If she's taking underwater fire prevention classes and she's claiming to be busy then it may be stalling. If she's in some serious classes that do require lots of time and research then no worries for the time being. She's putting her studies as her first priority. That's a girl you want in that case.

Finally, I think you have a sensible reason to think it's stalling. If she's not taking anything hard or time consuming at college, yet she can't see you then that's a big red flag.
Took me a while to get the joke:dunce:

Thanks for the kind words guys... :)

No joking fellas, whenever I'm with her, my mind stops working... It's like having the derp or something... whenever I try to say something nice or be romantic... my mind breaks down and I can only say "Hey... I...ehhh ... Love you"... :O

Also, from time to time, I feel empty... like there's no beating heart inside of me... completely empty... like the Tin Man of Alice in Wonderland... I happens often...

And there's the other side of it... when I feel like I have a drum about to explode in my chest: When I'm with her...when I feel like I have a heart or something similar lol...

That's why I love her, she makes me feel alive...

:O No wonder why @Cano calls me Ternurita

Yeah, the exact phrase (in "español") is Te Quiero, but as far as I know, there isn't a word for the verb "querer" in english...

So, to make it more accurate, what I end up saying to her is "Oye... amm... Te quiero..." :O

Querer? Isn't it "to want" in English? Because Te Quiero, is literally, I want you.

🤬!!!

I 🤬 up so bad!! I asked a male friend of mine for the phone number of another girl (study purposes) and I accidentally sent the question to my GF... :scared:

Now she won't reply.

🤬!!!!

Tomorrow is going to be one hell of a day...

Well... it is, but in spanish "querer" means either a) wanting something or b) loving someone (but not that much)

That's why I didn't write "I want you" a few posts above...

Wait... is this General Spanish-to-English Thread now?

Hope you can solve that "little" predicament tomorrow...

 I know what you mean. In a lot of languages the words I love you, are translated as I want you. However we know what someone means by that.

I have a lot of chats on WhatsApp open.. most of them are from other girls, and all the girls that I talk to, are my GF's friends. I can flirt with them, etc. she won't mind. However, the owner of the phone number is the new girl in my class. This is going to be hard to explain.

My male friends will probably be laughing at my predicament.....

Sure we know :)

Well, just tell her it was a little mistake... A month ago something similar happened to me... I explained and she didn't say anything...

I sure she will understand (???) :scared:

-_-

I love your naiveness

She's going to rip my head off, after a nice 'cold-shoulder' treatment for about a month.

Yeah.... she's not coming home today :(

She's studying costume design. She makes a lot of costumes for her course when she goes into uni along with lectures and today she is doing some CAD work. When she has a day off she has to do lots of drawings of characters for a play and she has to draw the costumes too. This is what she's told me about her course. Don't get me wrong, if she has her studies as a first priority I totally respect and admire that but surely if she's interested as she seems she is, then surely she could spare one evening to go for a drink or something.

Today I wasn't very nice towards my best friend.

I thought he was okay with me, until about an hour ago when we spoke. It really upset me, and i'm scared it has tainted our friendship. He's forgiven me now, but he really wasn't happy with me.

Therefore I feel terrible tonight.

Oh come on. You deserve it. It doesn't have anything to do with your plaid skirt either.

Also, since I don't really follow this thread, I didn't even know you had a girl by (k)now. Finally!

Yep! Finally happened :)👍 Gracias!!! :D

Have you said sorry yet ?

Of course, I said it multiple times, but I can tell he's being very wary of me. If i'm honest, I think he's lost a lot of respect for me.

I've never been in a relationship before in my 17 year old life, but I need some help here.

I sit beside a girl in my English class who I occasionally notice looking at me, sometimes staring, but I haven't paid attention to her body language. I can't tell if she likes me or not.

I'll admit that I kind of like her. And that last sentence just took a lot of pressure off me. I had to get it out one way or another.

If you see her laughing or giggling or whatever of this funny 'haha' stuff, that's the first sign she (maybe) likes you.

It's not often, at least in my case, that girls laugh with someone they don't really like. They may laugh AT someone they don't like :p

You're 17. That's the best age for this kind of thing. It's where you get to try all kinds of things with women and see what works and want doesn't. You're not likely to be ready for marriage of full on commitment for some time yet so enjoy the experimentation.
