This thread reminds me of what Gran Turismo does really well. The catalogue of genuine colours sure beats finding values to recreate colours in Forza.

But you're also wasting money on cars just for their colors.

Some of those cars come in handy from time to time.

It would be great to have a paint chip shop. Browsing paint chips by year, shade, and brand would make it easier to find the paint you're looking for.

Now I've picked up GT6 again, I'm on the hunt for paint chips. It would definitely help to have a chip shop, but I try to buy cars I know I'll drive at least once.

Just wondering if the colors are already available. But if not, any matches to these?

It should be Rising Blue Metallic for the VW and WR Blue Mica for the Subaru. Both colors are dealership colors and are available on the cars in the picture.

I replicated the picture in Photo Mode and you can see that the colors are exactly like those in the real life picture.

I've been looking and can't seem to find a match. It's not Bayside Blue, it's too light.

There is a color like that on the Black Edition GT-R. However, it is not very close. I would suggest Sydneyblau, a BMW color.

For the first car, check out the Dodge and Plymouth colours from around 1970.

Edit: For the Jaguar, there is a pearl paint chip called "Kryptongrün Mineraleffekt", from the Opel Corsa.

Hi everyone, i think you can help me.
I'm searching two colors. The first is Monterey blue/ Nethus blue (it's the same) who is a Lamborghini color.
The second is Nardo Grey who is an Audi color.

Try GTS Blue from the SRT Viper, and I think that the Abarth 500 might have a grey paint chip.

Either that or the 15th Anniversary Deep Blue if you have the Anniversary Edition of GT6, but it may be too dark.

I don't have the 15th anniversary edition. I thought the blue from the ST was a bit different at first but I took the car to a track and I realized it was just the weird GT Auto lighting confusing me. :)

Hi everyone! Does anybody knows how many colours we have in GT6? I have 1402 colours and maybe far from having all.
Sorry if my question is on wrong thread.

I'm going to guess over 3,000 chips counting the ones from Seasonals. Do you know how many colors the Superbird has... A lot...
