Phouchg... Gumball! Man up! hehe, only messing, yeah if you can't race this weekend hopefully there will be more to come, or a different race structure.
It will be the time between the 2 races/ drivers on a team added up to give the teams time.
I hope you can race this weekend, lemme know if you can't for sure, via pm mate then I'll edit the list.
EivlEvo thanks for the Q's- I will edit the posts to make them more clear, hopefully tomo.
1- Mods allowed I mentioned end of page 3, initial post to be edited- I ha
2- I want to see two races, one after the other perhaps an hour for each race. One race for each driver on a team- it would be upto the team members to decide who races first and in the event of someone not turning up for the race, the other driver on their team would run both races.
Regarding the track I'm happy to hear if someone wants to create say 3 new tracks on the day ( no practice laps ) or just run Nurburgring.
We've a few days to hear ideas on this still.
3- yup, they said 2 days downtime which I think they've exceeded so I reckon they'll push for active again for the weekend/ less than a weeks downtime??
4- It would be great if you can race with your buddy, currently you would be on separate teams. Would you be happy to still race on different teams? If you like I could send a pm or two to try and juggle those spaces around though. let me know.
5- I don't know about the chat thing I'm afraid, perhaps someone can clarify though?
1. Was your statement (#1) complete? It seemed cut off?
2. I think I'm sort of indifferent about the track. In reality, you'd have time to prepare for which track you'd be racing on so you had a proper setup. In videogameland thats sort of unrealistic since you can actually race a particular track then. That said... I think it would be the best to simply announce the track the night before, or day of or something like that...
I'm generally against a designed track just because so many of them end up so jackassey. However... the Gumball is about driving on "real roads" and as such... you may not have "track like conditions". So it might be worth running some made up tracks to simulate the roads.
I have no problem racing with someone else... but I know my friend would probably only want to race on my team... so if you ended up short... I could get a "whole team" but otherwise... I think it'd be just me.
3. My point was I guess that you plan on this going on this weekend pending the PSN and there's really an obvious answer to that I suppose. But I can tell you that my job is "living life by a pager" and as such... I couldn't guarantee being there at an alternate date. Though this weekend is looking pretty good currently.
4. I have no problem racing with someone else... but I know my friend would probably only want to race on my team... so if you ended up short... I could get a "whole team" but otherwise... I think it'd be just me. So I guess if anyone wants to switch to another team... go for it, but if not... Its not worth screwing the whole thing up for.
5. About that local chat/team chat thing... the only other thing I could think of would be cell phones. That would be something I'd do with someone I knew... but not with any of u chumps
Lastly... 6. If you will... how is the car thing going to work. Is each team required to use the same car, as in identical, or can each person purchase one and tune it to their liking? I mean... we're all working on the honor system here, in terms of not using air restrictors and/or the "zero ballast trick".
Do you plan on running it "rally style" or will we be all racing en masse?
I'm not trying to rain on your parade... I think you've got a handle on things... I'm just making sure I know what I need to know.
For the record, myself and my friend could be on any team as I have all of the cars in question. Or another (I'm sure) if there are more cars worth involving...
Very lastly... why are you using the Shelby instead of the AC?
Sorry for the long post...
