Yeah but the thing is, his missus popped a kid so he had to sell it off. Bloke he sold it to hooned around in it for awhile, not two hours later wrote the ****in' thing off. :irked:

Got that right. Thing is, it was a very nice car. Though it had the standard (for that time) 185kW engine, it went like the clappers.

People who can't handle powerful cars should be kept off the roads entirely. :irked:
 
Yeah, my dad had a VN Calais (avatar), which is probably why I like them more than any other Calais, ****ing nice cars.

**** all these parrots that give **** to VN Commodores. Our one was thrashed to 170,000km and not one problem
 
gtmaniak, his refering to his own which is the speedo of a vn commy. I actually the vn has to be my favourite, maybe im just bias because i bascially grew up with 1 in the family.
 
Theres not many VN Clubsports around, well, I havent seen one for sale in all the years Ive been reading AutoTrader, or seen one on the streets
 
Gday fellow Holden lovin folks, i just wanted to say HOLDEN IS KING OF CARS wahoo, mind if i join in on the fun of baggin the crappy fords and praisin the mighty lion, anyways my fav holden is the Monaro cant decide wich one tho all the old ones r awesome to me and i like the new one too wel gtg Ciao!

As for the Monaro - I think the older versions were king of the crop. The new one is too much of a Commodore look-alike. It would have been muchos better if Holden made the Monaro to look sorta like the older versions, but modern in design.

But the old monaros did look alot like a kingswood.
