Two highlights for me are corner workers with flags and using nothing more than cones to mark braking zones/turn entrance/apex/exit...these two things alone make this installment seem so much more grounded in reality (especially since knocked over cones persist in online races). I thought I'd miss the dynamic racing line, but not at all. And I wasn't sure I'd ever want to play a GT title online until I started getting into Sport Mode...

This easily feels like the most polished / solid GT game yet and, despite the lack of variety, I will soon pass the most hours / miles I have invested in any entry in the entire series due to how often I fire up the game (if only to get the daily driving marathon gift, usually via qualifying laps in Sport Mode - the rotation of daily events keeps things interesting even if the game lacks content compared to previous titles).

I also had no idea I would become so consumed with the Livery Editor. It's a great thing to use after racing since it helps calm me down. I've also taken full advantage of the decal uploader. I'm going to be very sad if we won't be able to move our creations forward into future installments of the game.

Still chasing my first Sport Mode victory...

Something I have really love about GTS are the Gr.3 Road Version cars. Polyphony Digital is so good at creating this type of thing. They all unique and look fantastic and are fantastic to drive.

    Porsches.

Also, the car selection when it comes to “oldies wheels”. Like the Toyota 2000GT, the Detomaso Pantera, the Vette Stingray, Shelby Cobra and so on...

I love how I can set a qualy time in the morning and if I have a spare 20 minutes later in the day I can jump in a race and my qualy time still stands. Makes it really accessible when you can't always dedicate hours to playing.

I love the attention to detail, just like with every other GT PD has not let me down in this aspect, especially when compared to other sims released around the same time (not to say they have no detail in them, just that PD is better at it).

Also, the physics are a perfect balance between beginner-friendly and challenging.

    - Viewing cars in Brand Central when that song, The local floatery, plays

    - Hotlaping Nordschleife and Fisherman's ranch while listening to radio

    - Racing in Sport mode, always a thrill

    - Scapes

    - The reflections on the window in cockpit view

    - The museums, always something interesting to view/read

GT Sport's presentation is so slick it's like being in McLarens headquarters.

Opening PC2 or AC is a bit like walking into a back street garage by comparison (not that there's anything wrong with PC2 or AC I might add)

Like how everyone is on it when a new car is out (f1 and sgt especially). Popular liveries (and itasha liveres) are uploaded soon after.

The thin line between a cute itasha livery and something obscene. I'd love to see the rules for itasha liveries set by Poly

    For me its the BGM...

As soon as I hear the menu music and the classic GT music in the GT league menu it immediately makes me reminisce of all the good times I've had over the years:D

The little things I love in GT Sport... After maybe more than 2500h on the game (yes, it's not a typo, 2765 hours to be precise !) I can point out that :

    - The BGM. Either in the "streamer" or normal mode, it's smooth and I feel very comfy. During the days where a glitch affected the BGM, I really felt the nice touch of it and how I missed it. (I'd still like proper theme for each part of the menu like they did for the GT League and until GT4).

    - Livery editor. I've spent many and many hours in that menu when I'm not driving, and trying concepts for myself or my team, finding new ways to achieve what you want to, it's so satisfying. Even more when you see it on track.

    - The community. Okay, that point is very personnal, but playing with good/fair-play people makes the game a lot greater, with custom leagues, eSports leagues, teams (even pro ones) and so on.

    - The way it look. With one of the lowest settings possible, it looks smooth and warm.

Its definitely a good game ...finally golded the Green Hell section of Driving School last night and most of it on Circuit experience. I could never do that without my wheel on previous GT's. Its a cross between hard drugs and marmite I prefer the latter lol definitely moreish

What the hell is your problem? There's a thread for that. Post there, please please please post there, not here. I don't want anymore toxicity NO MORE. PLEASE. GIVE ME ONE THREAD THAT HAS NO COMPLAINTS, OKAY?
I am not illusioned I know GTS isn't perfect I know it has flaws, but god damnit let me enjoy the game! Let me revel its beauty, its flawed beauty. Let me have a space, or a thread, where I can just say how much I love this game is. Okay, my car doesn't show exhaust flames (which it does), so what?! If anything, why the hell should I see exhaust flames on a Hyundai Genesis?!

    Go. Just- just go.

I really love the attention to detail in GT Sport. The tiny little details, like the marshalls waving the yellow flag before a blind corner (or each and every corner as a matter of fact), or the pit crew coming out over the pit wall cheering you on as you cross the finish line.
Even the cars, like the upshift warning on the RX-7's, or having the odometer rolling on as you count the miles.
Seeing your car in replays, or showing it to other people who would swear it's real life, or just getting lost gazing at the built-in Scapes photos in the main menu with the background music playing on for hours...
Everything in GT Sport just feels satisfying. It doesn't have the biggest roster of features, but the ones that are there are sublime and perfect. It's as if PD made the racing game version of Rolls Royce with a sprinkle of McLaren on it. Just wonderful.

This tiny little add on is actually so helpful for me. I thought at first it's just a gimmick and that there's a warning anyway, but lo and behold I actually notice the marshalls before the on-screen warning (even though it comes on before)
Especially at Monza T1, there's more than one moment that the flag screen whizzes past for a frame and lights up to show me a yellow flag- "oh :censored: I gotta brace myself for someone who's dumb enough to recover themselves perpendicular to the track"

    Love the Thread idea,

There's a bunch about the game that I love. I mean look how far Gran Turismo has come. Fact that there's still some life beyond GTS is great, as I'm sure we will continue to see it improve

    - adding Super GT cars has to be some of the coolest cars added to the game, running these cars in a few leagues, pickup races has to some of the most fun I've had. The thrill..the speed..the downforce..pushing it to the very very limit. Man it's quite a good feeling :sly:

    - The community within GTPlanet racing in competitive leagues on GT Sport. This goes with Livery Editor. As I use the liveries more to make for my cars, the more I enjoy it as it really brings a cool aspect into League racing with your friends, you see different designs that you would never have imagined. The online competiviness to go fast, endure hard fought battles, and so much more is what I love about the racing part of the game, it always raises my adrenalin to really push myself to the limit.

    - Lastly I want to say the tracks seem really polished, sure we may want more tracks as I do as well. But if we just look at the tracks we have and how it's layed out and the road feel, it's pretty solid. Always room for improvement im sure but if you just take a cruise lap at a certain track and just look around the track, the texture, the details of every little bit. It's pretty dang impressive as it shows in some pictures on GT Sport.

GT Sport along with other GT games I've played since early GT5 days have helped me race successfully better in real life too. As I've raced on dirt ovals and now possibly switching to asphalt circuit racing. :)

Really cool to read other responses too

After seeing so much flames being thrown around I just can't chill anymore. I linked the thread twice, for your convenience. Yeah you did trigger my death, but don't worry, I was close to it anyway with so much hate and senseless arguments being thrown around recently.
Yeah that's good enough. Thanks for contributing
    And sorry for lashing out
