and that's without all the porsches audi's beamers and merc's I want to test... or the S-2000 etc... anyone's got some advice? saying stick with your Cortina is NOT helpful! I want an exotic, not something that's been taken to the track a gazillion times by a gazillion players before....

Im going to try the Carerra C4S. The 68 Shelby Mustang can only be tuned NA in the regular game since the Turbo's and the SC's are for gold members. I dont remember if I tried the Cuda...

Yeah I found that out myself before reading your post

So I went to my good ole' S4 again, only to find out that at level 8 the best it can run is some 9,8x'ish thingy... 870hp on a 4WD car, can you believe that? weight stage=6 polish=5 nos=5 turbo=5 security= 9

How much EXP do you need to go up each level, anyone know?

I've got 7,880 points, and it still says 100%. Just wondering at what point I'm going to need to get more EXP (I'm only level 6 right now).

Well, check out the forums Alt, I think there is a listing somewhere. About 20,000 points will get you to level 11-12 I think. I'm on level 14 now, which is pretty good for me. Ranked 54...I was in the top 50 last night, but now I have to get myself another million to be back in the thick of it.

That took me from about 9xx to 16xx! Then redteggy stole 200 models off me...

i'm starting to hate the game. and people with the nsx, porsches, and the like, are easily trounced, i go after them repeatedly. I almost went after fpt when i saw that porsche. what's frustrating is the 50/50 gamble of facing cars. you also can dnf several times though you're at 90%, the testntune is annoying because of the difference in time between the same settings. you expect it, but it has you wasting credits trying to find which number is better on average. you have 500k calenders and 400 IM. you do 5 races and get 125 more IMs, you then lose the next 5 races and have 105 IMs. After that, and when you have maybe 400 credits left, you then to try to build up your IMs. But you have the "arrogance" to want to get the IMs past 1000. when your near that point, with 280 credits left, you get a dnf. you finally decide to either wait or just spend 180 credits on cruising and work the last 100. you get 12k for your effort. who do you face, the guy with 120 IMs or the guy with 1800? who's the performance poser?

So how's everyone doing in the opening stages? I've got my Civic DX, and I know it's more expensive and not as good as the other Hondas, and definetly not as fast as the 'stangs, but I hate having the same car as everyone else. So I spent the extra money and got the Civic DX.

When it was stock...it ran 20s

It's turbocharged now, and I also bought the cold air intake, and it only runs 17s

I'm saving up for an intercooler, so hopefully people will stop racing me offline, I hate losing my models and fuel for next to no xp.

Also, I don't like supercharging on MC, because, well, I like to be different. I realize it's slower, and for some stupid reason, it has less top end horsepower than the s/c. Hmm...that's not right. That's why I always mess around in MC, it's so unrealistic.
