First off fantastic looking house. Great deal on the price too.

I'll echo those with saying 186k is a fantastic price, Vancouver's average price is 921k for a detached home. That story talks about a bungalow going for close to 900k. I just don't get why'd you want that in Vancouver when a perfectly fine city like yours will get you a house like that for 186..... Thankfully I'm in the suburbs and bought our house before the massive inflation a few years back now.

West side. Almost in Plano, in fact less than 2 miles away from Plano.

Right now the wife and I are in some apartments near Springcreek and Preston. :sly: 👍 We're probably closer now than you think! Once the house is done it is a straight trip up the tollway then west on 380. :D

The house was completed Tuesday, September 20th.

Our closing date was moved up to September 29th so we can start moving stuff in next weekend. :D

Congrats, dude! Any pictures of the inside?

Just a few pics I snapped while it was being finished. The picture quality is mediocre. Don't have any pics of upstairs really to show off since we haven't been in since last Friday. We should take a complete picture tour or maybe even a video off her iPhone for YouTube soon. Downstairs is 95% tile with only the master closet having carpet. Upstairs 3 of the bedrooms and the loft have carpet while the movie theatre has black tile.

Man do they pack the houses close together there or what?!

Come to Phoenix, I've seen closer. And no matter how nice the house, I would never buy one where I could borrow sugar from a neighbor by simply leaning out my kitchen window.

Nice house. The kitchen is beautiful.

Thanks, the kitchen was one if the things that we were focused on.

You'd be surprised how much MORE space between our houses in this neighborhood versus places in Plano, Frisco or Southlake.

Any closer and we would of not bought in this neighborhood. We needed at least some separation and a back yard that wasn't a shoebox.

You'd think there was no room left in Texas or Arizona hahah.

Depends on where it is. Around any major metropolitan area like DFW, Houston, San Antonio and etc will be just as cramped. Go out to places like San Angelo, Waco or Tyle and it gets much much better for space.

I know right? Even worse are the town homes, those things are practically on top of each other. They're separated by pretty much nothing more than a sidewalk.

Or when your neighbors house that is two feet a way catches fire and is blowing flames into your eves. The things the developers do to save a buck.
