what does everyone think of them? they are my favorite band.

I used to listen to them around 4 or 5 years ago, they used to be my favourite band, but my taste in music has changed. I still think they're an all right band, although I'd say their earlier stuff is much better than what they've done more recently.

yeah, I'd say that Ixnay on the Hombre was their best album. Perfect mix of punk, rock, and pop.

Americana had some good songs on it, amongst the crappy ones. They shot themselves in the foot by releasing Pretty Fly as the first single... Still one of my all time favorite bands, though.

I love every Offspring Album. they are one of my favorite bands. I even liked every song off of splinter.

The offspring started that entire wave with crappy pop punk bands a couple of years ago. I don't like the fact that they did, with crappy songs like "pretty fly for a white guy" off that album Americana. Yet I still enjoy most of their songs, they sold out but at least they still have qualities that most of these other pop punk bands don't have.

Nirvana? Punk? I've never ever heard that classification. I'm no genre-expert, but Nirvana is Grunge.

I agree with what's already been posted by the way, older stuff better, newer stuff not so. I still listen to all of it though.

i am chilled. god help those around if i wasnt. its all in fun no matter how much i hate something. i even have to admit i liked that stupid song with the white guy when i was like 12.

as for now, i like various types of metal.

Yeah, Green Day and the Offspring still pwn. I'm listening to American Idiot right now. Still holds up even though most the people here hate mainstream music and will attack people for standing up for mainstream bands. But you gotta understand. They are successful for a reason. 👍 they are really good.
