6.5. The left side is fine, but the transition from left to right could have been smoother, and the contrast on the right is too harsh.

What I'm looking to get critiqued with mine is what I could've done differently when I edited it, and everything except the angle/composition:

Notice the added blurring of the crowd and background.

4 - I dont see a point in the green filter, it looks cheap and i dont see any other major changes.

Could i get overall thoughts on those 2 pics please?

^^^ First pic: Car should place a tad more downward, ie. move the camera upward. Too dark and also need DOF tweaks (pull down the f-stops). Reflection of light on the car's side looks fantastic so don't let those minor defects drag down your picture... 6/10.

Second pic: Too dark, and what's about the mysterious vapour in front of the car? Also needs injection of extra 'sense of motion' by setting a shorter shutter speed. Car should placed bigger so that it becomes the main subject in the photo. 4/10.

Me and one of my best friends were night racing on nurburgring with exactly same rx-7-s and this was a point where he was right behind me, as it was night, the 'vapor' is dust and particles in the air which appears in the headlights light ;) The pic should share the amazing feel there was.. it was night and this pic was positioned right on my cars left rear sidepanel, where the gopro cameras are set in drift and racing :)

This picture brings me back to the muscle car days and it truly shows that, so i give it a 7.5. Nice composition! :D Although i would've wanted to feel a sense of speed and movement. Overall good job.

Heres mine. What do you think?

7.7/10. I love the shot but the colors jump out a little too much in some places.

Here's my first attempt in this thread: :)

Driving alone on the Wangan Highway on a rainy night in my Matte Silver Gallardo. Hope you guys like it.

7.0 Although the rain and car are a very good combo it just doesn't seem to have a sense of speed

7/10 kinda boring.
8.5/10 Good, needs some darkening however.
9.5/10 Very good, has an artistic value to it in a way.
8/10 again, has some brightening issues.
8.5/10 good use of B&W.

2nd shot was meant to have the washed out, sun bleached background with the colours of the car more saturated, just a style I quite like.
Great to have some feedback, though.

I think I'll give that 7.5/10. Needs some more light to see the car better, but I like the overall look of it. Also those blossoms don't add to the picture...

Above gets 8.5/10 because it looks very good, but a bit dark. Like the colour of it though :)

Main question, does this look like a Night version of Spa to you?

8.5/10 for that, the cool filter doesn't make it look too good, could have had a bit more action on it too, or a slight angle to the shot. But it's nice! And no, it doesn't look like spa at night

You just posted it, way too soon for a bump.

Anyway....

The first image is a 6/10 for me.
It could be just me, but I think the image would be better "weighted" if the care was in the center of the road. The blue wall is distracting me from the car.

I can't decide my rating for the second image but if the shutter speed was slower making the background "Motion Blur" giving a sense of speed to the car, it would look more like an action shot.

I can see the effect you were going for here, a dramatic stance shot in the middle of the road, fierce looking car and all, and everything is there, although I feel if you had gotten the camera a tad lower and centered the car a little better, it would've worked well, even without filters/post-editing. 7/10

This photo I can sadly not praise as much as the previous. To me, it feels a bit a bit of a mess, with no clear focus (even despite the fact the car is in your face). The lack of any sort of drama or sense of motion in the still knocks it down even a few more pegs, but keep working, I know you can perfect it! 4/10

I'm not worried about the composition much, but I'd like some input on how I can improve the sense of realism in the second one. However, feel free to tear apart whatever you please! (And yes, most of the effects, blurriness, film grain, target being off center, are intentional.)
