I was wondering what's the point of those beat up Glendales in Back o Beyond. Why have them in the woods? Of course, being a game, there's no need for logic. Even so it makes you wonder.

GTA SA is certainly an atmospheric game in places. R* could easily produce a survival horror game using some of the ideas in SA, or at least the atmosphere of the fog and thunder storms etc!

Does it matter what time it is to see CJ's mom?
I dont know. I gotta try it myself. I just talked to my friend, and he said that he tried looking for it again, but he didnt see it.

I just think its supposed to be something scary to make you wonder what happened to them.
I personally think its cool all these things in the countryside, especially the bright lights seen by people!.

They're just planes like in every other GTA game (but higher than many others you see), it's just they move quicker than they did in previous games (you could drive quicker than them, realism there ) so people are saying it's a UFO, BS.

When I first saw the beat-up glandale I thought it was really cool, a nice little paddock basher :D

at least the planes in the last gta's had bodies, people call em ufos cos they look like em of course if they were planes strangely enough they might call em planes

They're just so high up you can only see the lights, at least that's what I've inferred. I don't believe that they are -- or should be called -- UFOs. I highly doubt R* would put UFOs into a GTA game, it's just people would rather turn to conspiricy theories (just like many do in real life, funny that) rather than the obvious.

I also tried that CJs Mums ghost thing, didn't work. I didn't think it would.

There's file on the game disc which seems to have all the gane's onscreen text in it. It's mixed in with some binary gibberish, but there's a list of the stats descriptions, the criminal rating levels, mission scripts ("You left Sweet behind, go get him!" and the likes). So I was bored and plugging various words into the Notepad search box looking for them. There's no mention of UFOs, bigfoot or big foot in the file. Of course that doesn't prove anything conclusively, but those words don't appear on screen. The word alien popped up a few times, Cesar asking you is you're going to become an alien hunter and the Truth and his LSD fuelled conspriacy raving.

However, the word alien pops up in another odd location..... there's car mods you can get with names like "Alien Bumper", "Alien Wheels" or things like that. I'm in college at the moment so I can't give the exact names. Has anyone come across car modifications with those names?

I agree completely. I'd bet they're supposed to be viewed from ground level, where they'd look like planes waaaaay up there.

For the beat-up Glendales, I don't know what the big deal is. If I drove around in the woods outside my town I'd find plenty of bashed-up, abandoned old cars. Not sure about the one rolling down the hill though. I'd suspect a glitch that makes it spawn at the wrong co-ordinates or something... :boggled:

Manhunt comes close.

Also, on all of this talk of Aliens, UFOs, Big Foot. I don't think Big Foot was ever intended to be a conspiracy, but Rockstar is just going to sit back and let it take its path. Look out for something similar in the next GTA game anyway, as Rockstar will be looking to use all of this to their advantage.

As for UFOs. Well I think they were meant to be planes in GTA 3, possibly Vice City, but I don't think Rockstar exactly know what they are themselves. Now I don't think it will ever be proved what they are. They could be planes, they could be UFOs, they could be little flying aliens...who knows. I think Rockstar kept them as just "little lights" just to watch people go through this little debate on what they are, again.

Trying to figure out what they are is a debate that will never really have a conclusion.

How could it be even started as a conspiracy if there was no photo proof? I mean a rumor can't go very far without someone actually believing the person claming to have seen bigfoot.

They couldn't have been tricked with the photos i've seen. They are poor attempts to photoshop a picture into the game. If they have fallen for it they have not sense of reality and game.

It all started because they heard Big Foot was going to be in the game. Of course, Big Foot is the Monster. But they interpreted it as the actual Monster.

So why exactly hasn't it stopped after seeing the monster truck? Or are the people so dense and can't figure out Bigfoot is a monster truck in real life and there is a Monster Truck in the game. Not saying that the Monster is the bigfoot.

Not sure if it has been mentioned but there is a map in the the Lill' Probe Inn with marked locations of what might be UFO hot spots if some one is wanting to do some hunting. Thats where they should be if they are in the game.

There are Beat-up trucks in the desert so you can't take that as evidence that there is a Bigfoot in the game. When was the last time you heard of a Big Foot roaming around in the desert :)

That's cool about the map. We should get someone to take a look around at all the Hot Spots, as I can't right now. Taking over Territory and finishing Missions. But it would be a good thing to find out about.

Thanks for that. 👍

i was just doing a mission this morning, and i need to find a 4 door car. so i go looking and see this red car by a gas station and think to myself,"JACKPOT!!" i go closer to see if it was 4 doors, i see its all banged up and a glendale!! i haul-ass out of there and try to find another car. i didnt bother seeing if it had claw marks. if i never read this forum, i would have used it. i see it again in a different mission, and that time it was blue

It's no big deal Driftnewb. When played the mission I saw that green-blue Glendale to but I drove it and there was nothing wrong with the car(although I was surprised that it was smashed up)

A new thing to report-
Take a missile launcher to a bicycle, and in a few seconds you catch fire. Odd.

Well I found a few things:

The bright light at the East Chemical...........But it doesn't move or something.
The explosions(a few)
The "ghost" cars, but they don't chase me.I drove a blue Glendale and I was waiting at around midnight for them to make a move but they don't do something.

BTW: Where's Pickle pine located????for buying that odd house

It's the house in North Las Venturas, near the croupier. I forget her name:(

Your kidding right, look on the map in the game you can't miss it at the bottom left.

Above angel pine. It's the large grey area in the bottom left corner of the map.

Yeah .. its HUGE, you'd have to be blind to miss it.

Well, went over there and found nothing except a Hippie van, some journey's and a Mountain bike to jump of the mountain(wich I did).Bought the house in Pickle Pine and everytime people walking over there they ran screaming away so I went in but it was too freaking spooky.

On a side note, that is one pixellated Toyota

Point your camera at it and you'll see a little icon there. Take a photo of it and it'll go away. It's one of the 50 Photo-Ops that you need for 100%.

The explosions(a few)
Plane crashes. They happen all the time. Places like Mt. Chiliad and the Quarry seem to be common places for them.

The "ghost" cars, but they don't chase me.I drove a blue Glendale and I was waiting at around midnight for them to make a move but they don't do something.
You can wait around as long as you want. Nothing happens. They're just abandoned cars.
