have you ever seen a car with junction produce parts on it....? i doubt that you have and i dont think that it is gaudy at all. the parts are super clean and they are made for only the best cars. if u want luxury performance than you need junction produce. look at the prices for a whole bodykit for an LS430 and tell me that **** is gaudy

I'm familiar with the line. They're styling is too round & pronounced. They try to streamline the car, then try and put emphasis on their pieces by making them stick out. I personally feel that doesn't personify the style, making it in my opinion the gaudy company of that particular style. JP is just the "premier" company of the style because everyone blows it up to be the best. Devil's, Admiration, WALD, oh who cares about them offering a wider variety, it's all about JP...

if its the red one it is a friend of Ueno's...who owns t&e carmake or vertex. the car is super sick and if you can get your hands on JDM insider 2 than you can see it in action. i dont even know if the kid payed for the parts, because in the video it shows like 3-5 of Ueno's sort of apprentices and he seriously is like some freaking guru to them. but yeah the car is sick

DRIFTN
That moron Verossa is in D1 atm ay.. Some rich bloke owns it who was like a bazillion cars.. (lucky basturd)

yeah the cars in the japanese D1 events but he never qualifies for the U.S. events

I liive for VIP Tuning...
.......especially Drifting.
Go to Kanagawa where VIP drift is popular there. =D

Drift Cars:

Aristo (GS330)
Vanquish
Viper (?)
Chaser

Reminds me...

Theres going to be a new VIP car comming soon to D1. Taniguchi's driving it and the car was made from the person who drifts the Vertex Soarer. Ueno I think his name was? But well Taniguchi's driving it, and its an Aristo. You could've seen at Formula D once =].

i know that this coming season, a sort of apprentice you could say, of Ueno is going to be drifting his vertex sponsored Toyota Verossa...i dont think anyone will be driving a GS...also taniguchi got an IS300 and its still sponsored by HKS.

takahashi is driving the chaser again...thats VIP.

ok you all seem to be talkin about pro drifters and body kit companys, but lemme ask you this...why does a car need a body kit to drift? i drive a stock '96 pontiac grand am SE with the 3.1Liter V6 and it drifts very nicely....so i dont see why you need a "premium body kit" to drift any car...but on another note....does drifting the audi nuvolri quattro count as drifting a heavy car? that thing is freakin huge....

i drift the gs300, full weight! no reduction at all.
and it slides for days but eats up tires like madill just have to turn off the tire damage then drift

hey, shut the hell up.
dont bash a thread and then ask questions about it that is total BS. besides that i think your missing the point....this is one thread in a series of five pages of drifting related threads.

maybe you dont know anything about culture or style but, VIP drifting is one facet of the drift life....you can drift anything even your ****box grand am(have fun, LOL), anyways start a plain car drifting thread if you want. i just like the challenge of a heavy car.

second are you talking about real life drifting or in-game?

VIP is getting played. Just like the JDM trend. Calm it down with the "VIP this, VIP that" stuff.

Alright, I did some diggin' and work and I'll show you some of my VIP Drifts...

Here you go guys, enjoy =]. Please share what you guys think ^_^

nothing is getting played...JDM, VIP, spocom, drifting, touge, "type-r", "GT-R", silvia, bosozoku, wangan, hipari, manji. these are all things that are used in our culture, it is the car life, as far as im concerned this forum is an extenshion of my real life. im not a poser who plays GT4 and then thinks that i am a drifter...in all truth, most of the people on here have a clear separation of real and in-game topics. i dont by any means think its wrong to drift in GT4 and not be in the drifting life.

what i am saying is this, "the reason there is talk of "supreme body kits" and stuff like that is because its real. you cant argue against it becasue it isnt just a part of a video game. nothing is getting played, maybe your just jealous to not be in the scene?"

VIP is 1 form of tuning in which we should all be excited to have around us. maybe your too much of a gamer to undertstand there is a huge following and family of people who participate in the drift life, not only VIP tuning. the game was made in japan, they put a few VIP cars in it, so we'll use them and we will talk about them however we want, maybe even use terms that are understood outside of these forums and GT4 world.

I never really heard of the VIP scene. First look at the JP site going through the things they offer, if one was clueless they'd would think that it was a Yakuza boss car buying site as most/all of the cars pictured are black(VIP thing?). I find it interesting and may look further into it. What ruins things about cultures/scenes are the posers that don't research or have no clue to what they are talking about. Anyways, will work on some pics.
