It's coming, but I can't read it.

Here's what Google translate came up with.

will unlock all the vehicles of the third DLC.
There are five convertibles with which you can make sure the tracks! The cool thing is, they are even fully upgradeable! Is not that a totally real horny mod?
To install, simply download the file and replace the existing files in your installation Shift 2. The mod was created by Jeroen vd Helm.
Here I've created for you a few pictures of the new car:

It would appear to be pc based code tweaking. Hopefully when it gets released we get more tracks.

????? what is this some sort of PC Mod?????
No, I believe this is more of just a Roadster/Open Top DLC.

It's a PC mod atm, but hopefully still to come in official format...

I can tell you the works converted Audi, Aston and 8C are something special :)

^ This. Its a PC mod that sets free the 5 convertibles you see in the link. They are said to be part of the 3rd DLC. But the article says nothing about whether that 3rd DLC is still coming officially or if it is including anything else besides the cars like races etc.

Just for Agera and Zonda Roadster i will buy that DLC 👍

Earth to PD, this man above is happy to spend $10 for just 2 cars and many others will buy this too, it makes perfect business sense to start releasing DLC....

They are not getting one cent plus until they fix all the bugs that cripple the game...I don't know how much did the Legends DLC sold, but now, at least until they fix their crippled product this is gonna be a major FLOP!:grumpy:

It makes precisely zero "customer sense" to encourage a company that thus far hasn't nickeled and dimed it's customer base for all it's worth to start doing so. Never will I understand the desire to pay more for less product.

As for this DLC, at this point it should go the route of the Team Racing Pack from Shift 1. Free for everyone as an apology for the issues

dlc doesn't look that good to me, no extra tracks? just cars? should be like $3 then.

It will come with new events I imagine, since the others did as well. I am not that worried about tracks, since there is such a good track selection as of now. And from what has been said about the cars, they are fully upgradable, unlike the Speedhunter cars so thats a plus.

Like someone already said, free would be good! $3 would make sense. $9 might be too high....but I know in the end I would buy it lol.

The only DLC released lately that has seemed to be a total ripoff that I would not buy is for Dirt3.

They're bloody nice :)

The Agera and R8 Spyder are my favourites, I should eventually get around to making some good shots of my own. I don't know if it comes across from the previews so far, but all the works kits for these cars are nothing less than completely awesome. Shame some of the best and most radical kits are stuck on cars a lot of people can't see yet.

Closing my eyes on many bugs this game has. I like it so much that i will buy DLC to drive some new machines :) I just like that game, nothing more nothing less.

And yes i want this game to be even better with a good patch, so others like Arvore could finally enjoy. Sadly it's not up to me if it will ever be patched correctly.

I must agree there 100%

I don't understand the need for some people to pay for things. I would never beg a company to charge me money.

You know there is a market for DLC? If it doesn't include you just keep moving along.

There's a difference between evaluating DLC that does get released on it's own merits and then choosing to buy and screaming at the doors for a dev to invent new things for the sole purpose of milking you for money. It's like some people these days are ecstatic to pay $60 for a game then turn around a week or two later and pay another $30 for a handful of extra content that makes up maybe 5% of what came with the game in the first place.

It utterly baffles me how this **** became not only acceptable but demanded. Are the sheep that well conditioned?

Like I said, its a market you are not interested in so why even care to be baffled. I don't know why people believe in God, but I don't waste moments of my life wondering why the do.

I don't want to get into an argument and this is my last post regarding this..

Someone Believing in god does not affect you. People begging a company to charge them for something when they do not seem to have any intention of doing so, affects me in the end because I'm into games as everyone here but I rather not pay for something if I do not have to but I would still like to enjoy the game to the fullest.

Thats my thought on that. But all the power to all of you and happy gaming!

DLC is and never was mandatory. It's an option. If you don't want to buy then don't do it. That's reality :)

Much more important than extra tracks, cars, events is sensible patch that will fix few annoying problems.

I love that even when the subject is the free extra cars people got with their free DLCs, EA IS STILL THE DEVIL because ..

I don't know.

Something.

I guess.

I wont get into the god believeing not affecting someone else, but it does to a much greater deal than a game company and DLC.

Game company nowadays plan for DLC. They dont check the forums and say "hey, they wont pay for DLC so we cant do it". Sometimes its good. Like DLC for say...Red Dead Redemption (added about 10 hours) and totally new stuff ADDED. Sometimes its bad...like Dirt3 (car packs, and a track that cant be played in career only single player), and that stuff was ALREADY in the game, you just pay for a code to unlock it.

So as a gamer, I passed on the Dirt3 DLC because well, it wasnt worth it to me. I am sure many bought it. I bought both DLC's for Shift2 without hesitation, and am very pleased with my purchase. I know many did not purchase Speedhunters, because it wasnt worth it to them. How does this affect me?

How can EA be the devil, if someone doesnt believe in god? :sly: We can just call EA "The MAN!" always trying to keep us down.

In all seriousness I am glad to hear more reports of a patch.

Nothing to do with the market, everything to do with the customers' mentalities. As pointed out, devs are going to do what they're going to do regardless, it's just morbidly hilarious to sit here and watch people argue for practices that put them at a disadvantage while justifying it as "good business sense". At what point did the customer forget they were, in fact, the ones forking over the cash and start putting the content provider's interest above their own?

And whether I'm interested hinges on product delivered and price point, always has, always will. Don't presume to put opinions in my mouth.

Bought the Legends DLC, didn't buy the SpeedHunters DLC - my choice. In my opinion, S2U is very feature rich - many REAL tracks, cars, carreer events, AutoLog, etc.. I think I got my monies worth when compared to the content of other titles. The DLC's are extra and MY choice to purchase. Would I rather have them for free - of course.

You don't think someone(consumers who want DLC) will get defensive when you refer to them as sheep? I never directed my original statement to anyone. We have a choice to buy it or not. But to call them sheep for buying it is offensive. I'm ok with your opinions, just don't shoot down someone else's.
