I always thought that if I decided to make a PMV, I'd use a fairly short track for my first video as it would probably be be quicker to make, plus the chances are that less editing would be involved. I reckon that a 5 minute PMV is pretty lengthy really, so perhaps you could consider using a song that's, say, 3:00 to 3:30 in length instead?

Then again, the song you suggested would make for a great PMV, although I wouldn't know how I'd piece together the right scenes for it myself. By the way, do you really feel that such a video requires a "main pony"?


And I've only just realised that that song is part of the DiRT 3 soundtrack.

Yes it is... I'll look at my iTunes to see what I got in that length it will 99.9% be a rock song...

Apart from that, maybe the people here who works in ponies draws(Gravekeeper, Unit-one) might find a use for this, seriously, I found it quite useful purposes for it.

And finally, there is one little ting that is bugging me; after seeing season 2 of The Boondocks I could not help but realize that there were substantial changes to the series portrait, the series keep the same quality, heck, even the second season was sightly better(funnier I mean), but it lost a certain "something", for me the critical realization that you were left at the end of each episode was removed in season two, I just don't feel right about it because, even if they are funnier, second seasons doesn't have the same impact, there are exceptions though(i.e. House M.D.), so I don't know, but the only thing I perceive is that the hype for second season will be massive, and I hope that the higher expectation don't overshadow the series.

I think they are trying to get it back up ASAP, but "My Forza" has been on the blink for at least 2 months now, much to my annoyance. I just hope that feature works properly again fairly soon.

2.- Although the fragments are enough to kill me, they most probably won't have the sufficient velocity or the right shape to go through the metal plate of a bucket seat. There is, however, the possibility they get trough the holes for the seatbelt, in that case I'm injured, or dead, if they reach something important.
3.- They may, however, break my front window, which may be resolved by hitting it.

I was thinking a Predator drone. If not aesthetically pleasing, then certainly unique in design. They may cause unaware people to laugh at the sight of one- until it either leads to a seal team coming for them, or it shooting a missile and killing them. All while remaining perfectly clean, elegant, and safe from danger.

Twilight Sparkle: smart and powerful, leader of the "main6"

Rarity: elegant, stylish, clean and generous. (Amphibious vehicle will fit... I think)

They both have to be ground vehicles.

Although, given it's maneuverability, I'd say if I had to choose boats for the ponies, that would be Rainbow Dash. Just because of this.

Yeah, it's not the fastest in a straight line, but when you can go from 60-0 in 1-1/2 boat lengths, and go from 60-0-60 in the opposite direction in a matter of seconds I think Dash would appreciate the maneuverability.

As far as Rarity goes:

Never touches the dirt.
Looks good.

I mean, remove those decals on the side, add cutie mark, paint the skirt purple and you're set.

Or if were going military only then forget it because I've got no idea for Rarity unless you use a very, very large Hovercraft, and I'm not sure she'd appreciate you calling her fat.

I'd say an AWAC. It's just too bad Twilight can't fly or it'd be perfect. It organizes everyone, and it can use electronics magic to take out the enemies communication.

I like the idea of the Striker more than the Buffalo, though. I think if anyone's the Buffalo it's Big Mac.....if you ever plan for any of the background ponies anyway.




Anyway, this. I still love this, but not as much as I did after watching Pony Thread Simulator V.3.

After lightweight irritation at Fallout Equestria getting it so wrong.

I was probably concerning about some stuff, but damn, that's actually functional, apart from that, a Pegasi version could be done base on it.

My initial thought was that it was: A laser beam attached to her head!, CoffeeGrunt certainly has some imagination.

Pegasi variant of the ODST Standard Combat Harness is similar but the straps and gun accomodate the wings better, however Pegasi don't really see any aerial combat role due to the advent of anti-aircraft weaponry and the increasing prevalence of vacuum combat.

A frikking pony with a frikking laser beam attached to her frikking head? And yes I do, scifi opens many doors. I just have to get that asshat anonymous to gtfo my comments page now. The lightweight weapons like SMGs/Pistols, etc are attached to the inside of the foreleg, and can be used much quicker as a result.

All this of course being the result of a two hour conversation with Gravekeeper that didn't really make any sense on reflection.

Also, did you ever think about using an anti-aircraft vehicle of some kind for any of the characters?

I'd say an AWAC. It's just too bad Twilight can't fly or it'd be perfect. It organizes everyone, and it can use electronics magic to take out the enemies communication.

I was also going to suggest the AWAC, but seeing as she's going to be a land based vehicle, the AWAC isn't really an option.

The AAV seems like a good choice, but are you considering both tracked and wheeled amphibious vehicles? What about something like the the VAB? I can't really think of anything else which is amphibious that you might want to use.

The closest thing in the world to what you're describing is this.
Other than a Tesla coil, but you can't direct that at something.


Oh, and even in an EMP, most electronics can be fixed by simply turning them off and on again. And if it's already turned off it'd be good to go.

I've actually just come across something that seems to fit the bill (Lockheed Martin Gibbs AAV):

It's American, it has a clean design, but it's only a concept at the moment, so I'm not sure you would want to use this vehicle.

Rarity - secret, cool looking, new, rare, kinda weak.
Pinkie Pie - secret, "very fun, kills everyone."
Twilight Sparkle - Stryker MGS - Fast, Powerful, High-tech
