Speaking of MLP, I saw a video combining Soul on D!splay by Daiki Kasho with clips from MLP and it was f'ing awesome!!!!

(Oh and the MLP video featuring GT4's version of Moon Over the Castle isn't too bad either. lol)

Also, I made a very bad decision. I bought the "Unlock all weapons for classes" thing in Bad Company 2. What a waste of money. And not all weapons were unlocked... 👎

this is why I don't feel I'll ever be able to submit anything. I've never seen so much fuss and bother since I first got on the net in August 2000!

Self-inserts ≠ OCs. Self-inserts are a specific type of OC, and the reason they are frowned upon is because they are generally used for wish-fulfillment. And the word count requirement is just so Seth and them aren't constantly swarmed with updates.

I mean, you could just do what CoffeeGrunt does and kill off your self-insert and combine periodic small chapters into one big one. Not every update has to be a HoG/TNTNE/Ballad length monster.

Kind of unusual to see unit-one on at this time.

Anyway, I don't actually have to do anything tomorrow, and I actually got all of my school work done yesterday (so my entire weekend is open). Let it be known that I would like to host a race this weekend, but I probably would have to do it on Sunday instead of Saturday.

Sunday? I might be able to make it then, it just depends on what time you plan on doing those races (taking into account the fact that the clocks go back tomorrow night). I wouldn't be able to do any on Saturday though, and I'll explain why in a moment.

I would go ahead and buy the GT5 DLC today, but I'm pretty busy right now. I'm also going out of town for the night, which means that I'll be out for most of Saturday as well. Let's just say that I'll be offline for the next 24 hours.

This guy is a badass. I actually had an idea similar to this a long time ago for when I get into the USCG. He's Navy, so I'm kind of hoping I'm still the first to do something like this in the Coast Guard.

I don't like it when people start talking about older games I never got to play. Makes me feel like a noob

I didn't start getting into gaming until Conkers Bad Fur Day. And I was only a casual until I broke my ankle 8 years ago(Trampoline + 8 people = Suck), spent the next few weeks doing nothing but gaming. I figured by the time I healed I'd just get back out and start doing what I normally do. Instead I just kept playing games and instead of my friends making me more active I turned all of them into gamers as well.[/nostalgia_trip]



Also, will be gone for most of the after noon. Taking a 40 minute drive to Cracker Barrel later. And yes, I'm taking a 40 minute drive because those pancakes are the most mind-blowingly delicious god damn thing I have, or probably ever will, taste. So I'll probably just burn through Allegrezza as much as a I can starting in the next 30 minutes.

I wouldn't trust my choice as I didn't get the GT5 DLC... but I did play Daytona USA in the Arcade a few times (2 or 3 times) and from what I remember I really liked it

My dad brought home an old SNES along with Street Fighter II (first game I ever played) and Nigel Mansell's World Championship Racing (first racing game I ever played). I think that was back in 1998 if I remember correctly. I didn't get a PS1 until '99 along with an old PS1 Demo 1 disc, Loaded (top down shooter) and V-Rally '97 Championship Edition.


I've only played Daytona USA a few times in various arcades many years ago, and it was bloody good fun as far as I can remember.[/more_nostalgia]

I liked it. Pretty sure CoffeeGrunt liked it. Seth loved it. Features really clever character interactions from Dash and Applejack towards Trixie.

I did like it, it was such a well-done characterisation that I I realised in the first chapter how well they fit in together. It was like it was something so damned obvious.
