As I understand it, the problem mainly stems from the fact that the group strives to keep its content in line with the show. By itself, that means that they have every right to reject Allegrezza (because it is PG and because it is shipping) and there is nothing wrong with it. However, they also say that M/F shipping is allowed even though it is no less out of line with the tone of the show, and that is what makes them hypocritical. Basically, they are saying that hetero is fine because the show supports it and lesbian is not fine because the show doesn't support; but there is no romance in the show period so logically they shouldn't allow it period.

Well, it was the first time Allegrezza had ever been rejected. So, naturally fearing a quality issue, I asked why it was rejected. They said it was in the wrong folder, that if it's romance it should be in Colts X Fillies. I apologised and said I put it in general writing because it's a fem/fem story.

They said they only accept heterosexual shipping, I pointed out it was kinda counter-intuitive in this fandom, and somewhat homophobic. They responded saying My group, my rules, deal with it. I said fair doos, but it's pretty unfair that you don't accept gay shipping.

Cue my Journal post pointing this out, plus anecdote. Then other people caught on, started a boycott. I joined in, whole thing kinda snowballed.

I don't even submit to groups anymore anyway. Everyone who is going to read Allegrezza already is. I outstrip the E-Qual-Estria group's pageviews by 10K anyway...

Meanwhile (somehow), Vinyl Scratch and Octavia have a popular radio show going on in which they fight like an old married couple, which Vinyl Scratch pulled up on Octavia's home theater receiver and wasn't really a fan of.

And I haven't seen Rainbow Dash's Pet: The Scootaloo Saga yet (downloading it now), so I suppose I'll comment on that when I finally get to watch it.

They are pushing really hard with the animation, as they try to get newer angles the geometry and the shapes of the ponies will get weirder and weirder. I'm pretty sure I have seen a similar expression to the one in the last box, but the cartoon-ish style gets broken in the first three boxes(or that scene for that mater).

It sounded like Owlowiscious was short shifting if it was supposed to be the sound of an F1 engine.
