I have really no clue how to get involved in leagues and the like. Not sure why I'm posting this here. I guess bronies tend to be nice enough, and so I'm not going to get any "stfu noob" type responses. I hope...

Well those sorts of responses are almost exclusively found in the GT5 Section, whereas much of the rest of the forum isn't anywhere as, well, inhospitable. Especially this thread.


That being said, I don't take part in any sort of racing league, and I don't think anyone else who regularly posts in here does. I can ask around for anyone who can help out though, but I have no idea how to get involved either.

You could try the weekly racing series however that's only time trials. The online racing series is meant to be a clean racing area but I've never been there before so I can't confirm it. You need to register and be classed for both the WRS and the ORS.

If you know what you want out of a racing series why not make your own? I'll sign up for it. Just make it Australia timezone friendly.

I like the idea of a Brony racing league. It's just that many of us in here don't normally get involved with racing leagues on GTP, however I would consider signing up if such a thing existed.

I didn't think of it as a league. It was mostly just a clean racing room that you would inform us about when the lobby was open, and that wasn't very often. Still we can just set some of those races up on the weekend or whenever if you're interested. it's just that we rarely find a time where most people are able to join in.


I will say that although this is just for fun rather than being outright competitive, the races we have are almost always extremely close.

Also, my reaction to taking a journey into town (which was prolonged because of storms and flooding), only to find out that said storms had affected the meeting I was supposed to go to. Thus cancelled:

I can relate. I was only in there 5 minutes before Jamie left for work and I almost fell asleep.
