And yes, Giggle at the Ghostie is absolutely hilarious without the music. I'm gonna try At The Gala next.




I get far too much entertainment from stupid crap like this. Though at least I now know how so many have been able to do remixes with the lyrics for all of the songs, which is normally pretty difficult to do.

In all fairness is kind of useless as just a few bunch of movies and media are capable of that, but it still outputs 5.1 and that certainly blew me away with Iron Man.

I had a feeling that Gilda comic was R63 when I came across it on Ponibooru. Then I checked the tags and sure enough, it was tagged as R63 (although most of the comments seem to be debating whether or not it actually is R63, but apparently it is).

This should yield some impressive stuff. I mean, a lot of people get creative with pumpkins. Even people who rarely usually apply creativity to things end up coming up with some great stuff to make with a pumpkin. So what happens when you challenge the largest creative force on the planet to something like this? Most likely something ludicrously awesome.

Technically? It's got some problems, and it really could have used an editor because dialog at parts gets really hard to read.

In terms of content? Its a very heart-wrenching story from the beginning to the 75% mark, at which point the author made a rather large taboo of attempting to force a bittersweet ending when an open-ended one would have worked much better. By that I mean he made certain things about the ending explicit so you could not interpret it as an outright happy one, but left it open-ended enough that you could interpret it as far more depressing than he intended. And I must say that the really depressing interpretation made more sense than the one he wanted to go over after I thought about it for a bit. I'll explain more if/when you read it.





There's also some minor characterization quibbles that I had with it, particularly regarding what Dash goes through. Overall I gave it a 4/5. If he had left it more open and didn't try to force the issue, or took the ending to what I feel is the more logical conclusion based on what he did write (I'm not biased. A really well-written sad ending is just as good as a really well-written open-ended one), I would have given it a 5/5.
