I am kind of afraid that we're not the only group outside the target audience that watches this show. Parents do too. and, for something that is supposed to be a kids show, parents do have quite a bit of influence. I'm guessing it's not bronies who are angry about Derpy, but parents who are, (more than likely parents of differently-abled children,) and there's not a whole lot we can do about it.

I have noticed complaints by some bronies about how Derpy is portrayed, but hardly enough to warrant such a move by Hasbro though. Most other bronies seem to be unaware that most of the complaints are, as you said, probably coming from those who aren't part of the fandom (parents) who may be angry about said character. We can't really tell if this is the case right now, but it could be the reason.

Having it run 1 minute short isn't totally unacceptable really, plus the episode is great enough even with her possible absence from it. They might even edit the scene just to try and please everyone, we just don't know what'll happen at this time though. Hopefully nothing will happen at all.

Yeah, the one where RD (I think, can't remember) died at the end of one part and was fine again in the next. I do really like that Tumblr's art though. I have so many Tumblrs I love that it's very difficult to remember to check them all, I normally forget after Molestia>FluttershyandPinkiePie>LMR>MLCBlobs>Velvet >_>

I always liked to think that even though I tended to look at them so long as they weren't explicit, and genuinely enjoyed some of them, and even had some of them favorited (sssonic2's usually); I could view them with a detached state of mind. Similar to how I can read sad fics and recognize the things that make them sad, but not be effected by them because I view them objectively. And JJ art didn't count, because human.
So with maybe one exception (which ironically is not in my favorites), I felt that said assessment of my situation was accurate. Which may have been denial from the start (and I suppose might even probably be, considering I just checked and 2 pages of my favorites is anthro; which is far less than how many pages are AppleDash or humanized but I suppose that isn't really the point. Plus the fact that that exception existed at all), but I didn't think so.


So of course it was Gilda who shattered the looking glass.
