I doubt that Lori is still alive, and I doubt Carol stitched her up. If that were the case then why wasn't Lori with Carol when Daryl found Carol? (epic tongue twister)

That what would make it so exciting. They already have a setup for it since Carol practiced doing the operation already so it's possible.

Not to burst the fantasy bubble with a reality needle, but the actress that plays Lori has done interviews about having to make up stories for being back home so early in shooting and goes into depth about the emotions involved in leaving the show.

If she comes back it won't be this first half-season.

EDIT: I also see she has an upcoming film that did its filming in August, which coincided with filming for this season. She hasn't even been near set since she died.

I know. I'm a party pooper.

Look a couple of posts above yours Ddrizle. ;)

Interested to see how he is introduced into the series and how (or even if ) he will fit into Ricks group.

I am so obsessed with this show. I only started watching about 2 weeks ago but I've managed to get all 25 episodes so far. Now I get back to the sitting waiting a week for the next one to come out like everyone else.

^Yeah me too. Hoping Glenn survives.
They really play with the expections of the comic book readers aka standing behind Maggie.

Now everytime I see Glenn, I see a smashed skull and a popped out eye. Most dramatic death in a comic ever. I was shocked.

The whole Daryl and Merl situation is going to be awesome.

Anyone else think it was dumb that they left the prison without leaving any suitable people to defend it?

Sure, Carl has a gun. But he can't defend the place on his own, and Carol...well, I don't know about her.

^ My thoughts exactly...

But I hate the fact that there's a break in between the season. :grumpy: What the hell is that for?

I lol'd hard at the redneck hobo guy in the log cabin. "I'll calling the cops!".

Can't wait for the mid-season finale.

Um, it's how nearly all American television has worked for decades. We have to have NFL Playoffs, BCS Bowl Games, Christmas specials, New Years Specials, and end of year type stuff.

On top of all that television networks work on the same antiquated ad-based revenue model and a significant portion of the audience is traveling, building snowmen, putting up decorations, and doing general holiday stuff. High budget shows tend to lose money this time of year if they keep airing new episodes.

Makes sense. The wait is gonna suck though.

It always does. And inevitably you will miss the first episode back because you have no reason to be watching TV when they advertise it.

Ducking Pit!

What an episode!!

The situation on Merle and Daryl was very nicely handed. Didn't had that in mind at all.
Michonne was bad ass. And nice to get Hammertime in....

Good for the caracters, nobody has lost limbs after Hershal. And Gleen is still alive.

But what a cliffhanger. Now waiting till febuary...

5/5

I know right. Me and the 3 guys I talk with about this were having a huge debate over whether Daryl or Merle would turn on their people. We was 100% sure at least one would do it. Turns out its the people who turned.

Who decided on these stupid mid-season breaks?

TV networks operating on antiquated ratings-based ad revenue streams that are afraid to lose ratings while we all celebrate our holidays.

Another great episode!👍

Possible spoiler: Based on Glenns reaction in the ending preview(picture above), Merle tags along with the others perhaps during their escape from the Governors village.

You sure? Merle being in the situation he was end at the end of the finale I wouldn't believe it. That kind of looks like the shirt Rick had on. Looks like they got separated and he startled them

Yeah that isn't Merle.
Is it me or does the arm looks amputated? Looks rather shortish!
Maybe new caract.?
Looks like Rick though... Maybe when he decides to go back for Daryl, Gleen snaps...

^select for speculation

Can't wait to see dodo hit the fan

I really enjoyed the mid-season finale... Just disappointed at two occurences in this episode where I was like UUuhhhh... Yeah right...

- The whole gunfight sequence... Smoke everywhere, no one can see, Ricks group in the middle of the street, getting shot at from both sides and from rooftops, not getting hit at all and just blasting everyone from Woodbury like they were on a kill streak in BF3... Was kinda meh. (You also had a goon from the Woodbury squad shooting at them with a pump action shotgun from WAY too far out... No way he'd be doing any damage lol)

- Michonne thinking the Govs daughter was a locked up little girl despite seeing chains and the growling... I was like, "uuuhhhh don't you realise it's a freakin' zombie?!" Chains, growling and the nasty smell shouldve been enough for her to realise... But no... :P

Other than that I enjoyed the episode. Lotsa action and the cliffhanger surprised me, because I thought Daryl was going to jump out of nowhere and maybe save Mearle... But they caught him... Really curious as to whats going to happen to them.

k

Agree on both.
I think we can speak normal though as the title clearly indicated spoiler danger ahead.

The daughter scene was so stupid. Like in a bad horror movie. Badly handled.

The gunfight, while not really realistic, it's hard (at least on my first viewing, need to watch it agin) to gather the exact position on everybody.
But BF3 verterans,... (maybe he used a slug ;)).

The funniest was, after the whole internet put the hypothesis about only one black guy (the old one dies as soon as the new one comes) had actually happened again.
Maybe it was a joke from the studio rather than unintentionel as they get told such stuff.

Rick's group has the ability to spot targets, while the Woodbury people cannot, being that they are noobs and have no idea what spotting is (just press Q, helps the entire team PTFO). So Rick's group were PTFOing with the spotting and shooting through the smoke at spotted targets. Also, I am sure there was at least one Woodbury guy asking another Woodbury guy for ammo and the ammo guy completely ignoring him.
