With the way I drive in GT4, the Cizeta V16-T is the worst performing car. It just handles so bad  , but I'm not too sure, I might be a noob at driving this car.

EDIT: I thought the Cien was low in performance, too. Top speed was good, but the gear shifts are kind of slow, compared to other cars in GT4.
if you are going for worst handiling car, then without a doubt its the Susuki escudo trial car. i cant beleve that someone would take that up pikes peak! its hard enough in a 4wd suburban, but in that tragedy, you mught as well write your last will and testament!

Hmmm, the Mercedes Benz SL65AMG would be one of my least favourite cars. Too much torque to get away quickly, and too heavy for the bends.

Great brakes though.

I notice that, for me, it's very important that a car has a function in the game other than being pretty in photo-mode.
For example: I like the looks of the nike car, but the fact that you can't enter it any race and that there is no special 'nike race' or something like that makes me dislike the car after taking it to photo-mode. Same for the oldtimer benzes....

Polyphony F1 Car.

The steering is too accurate and balanced.

Chapparal 2J just cos of its looks, i nicknamed it the Washing machine car cos it looks like one. ohh it's fugly and annoying yet so much faster than ur average Le-Mans car!!!!

R.I.P Chapparal 2J

Rot In Peices

i've noticed a few people comment on the Daimler Motor Carige thing, it took me 5 and a half mins to drive from the start line to just past the Dunlop bridge at Sarthe track lol.

it'd have to be the midget for me. I don't mind the benz-es and model T, they have historical significance. The gillet, despite its flaws, could probably smash 90% of the cars in the game. No, the Midget with it's uselessness takes the cake

What?

The Chapparel is cool, and is a good feature of the game, and looks very unique.

My least favourite car, Hmmmm, proably the Nike 2022 which looks stupid and is'nt cool and cant rot because it's probaly made out of stuff which has'nt been invented yet (note 2022 production date) but I still hate it

Smallhorses
The worst purchasable car in stock form has to be the Honda Element! :yuck: Without a modified transmission, this thing will not accelerate! It's like turbo-lag, but without the turbo!!! ;)

Once it's had it's transmission swapped for a close or super-close box, it handles the snow courses pretty well.

That is the only car in wich I could jump Quiddelbacher Höhe... in reverse.

I'm going to say something that might upset some here but the so called Special "Black Cars" are absolute rubbish!!!

After painstakingly saving enough credits and waiting for the cars to appear, I bought the mazda 787B and the Toyota GT_one.After spending a further 100 000 cr for new oil,Refresher and Ridgidity,I still had a car that was basically useless in the GT World cup. They were massively underpowered, chewed through tyres and basically fell to pieces after one race. :grumpy:

In frustration I sold both of them and got a Pescarulo(next is a BMW lmr ) :sly:

I have won GT World cup with both of those cars, and I find them to be absolutely fine cars..besides the fact that the Toyo doesn't brake too well.

ÄŁPĨЙΣ
the daimler thingys, can you call them cars?!?

Quite easily, in fact what you call them is the first cars as we know it ever made.

I'd say the model that gave rise to the entire industry deserves at least that.

 👍

It always boggles my mind when people complain about the Daimler Motor Carriage and Benz Patent Motor Wagen...as if the very first cars ever made would drive and handle like Civics.

Not to mention the people who aren't even aware of what those two cars are, or why they're important...

Well despite being 6 months since the last post, this thread is very valid at the moment.
This thread properly titled as the "WorsT" car thread and easily turned up on the first page of a search.

On that note, I'm bringing this back because someone doesn't follow directions and actually search before posting new threads (as requested by the site when attempting to create a new thread in the GT4 forum).

So, basically...
Keep up the "worst car" talk in here.

i mean i havent read all nineteen pages to check if this has been said, but in my opinion the Volvo 240GL is the worst. Who wants to race a volvo from the 1980's that weighs 1000 tonnes and looks the way it does?

its definetly the most random car.

A warning: do not nominate the Mini Marcos as the worst car.

It's slow, it's ugly, it can't corner, but I love it, and I'm very protective of the things I love.

I can't bring myself to read the whole of this thread, because I know someone must have nominated it, and then... Well, I won't say what would happen to that person.:grumpy:

The Ford Taurus SHO is an absolute piece of rubbish: a good engine + Taurus chassis (:yuck:)+ any self-respect you retain from driving this thing = a bad auto. (Or at least a bad performance auto.)

BTW: I own three in the game and drive them regularly, don't ask why.

you hate yourself, man. I wouldn't drive taurus SHO even if I would be paid for it, tiny V8 under bonnet or not.

I absolutely love the look of the Lancia Stratos, but that car is so twitchy as you start heading for its limits and so plodding at lower speeds that I just can't bring myself to drive it at places that I like to run rampant (like Sarthe without the chicanes, I know it's bumpy, but c'mon, 4 mile straight followed by a breakneck turn that even sends the AI into the wall...soooo much fun). I realize it's an old car, so compared to...say...a Skyline, it's going to feel like it has wooden brakes. It's just disappointing for me because I love the car and I'd love to save some replays having fun with it, but the car just doesn't give enough warning of when its rear end is going to step out, so it ends up frustrating me very quickly. So, it's not my absolute worst choice, I'll have to decide that once I've driven A LOT of the cars in GT, but it's on my disappointments list because of the handling.:yuck:

I do...

Aaaanyway, the most "rubbish-ly" car in my opinion in GT4 has to be either the Plymouth Superbird, or either the Tank Car.

I feel I need to defend the Superbird. :dunce:

Partly on the "significance" basis - Chrysler actually makes, and manages to sell, this most outrageous street car (as well as the similar Dodge Charger Daytona) with a 3 foot tall wing and a 3 foot pointy nose to homologate this car for just a handful of high-bank races. And I still remember watching Richard Petty in his powder blue #43 at Daytona.

Still, I recognize that it can be a pretty poor car to race in GT4. However, some time back I decided to redo Superbird at Seattle and of course the first few attempts were complete garbage as I missed braking points and apexes. But then I hit on the right technique which I think of as being an understeer version of the dirt/snow method. I started braking really early, turning in maybe 10 yards sooner than would seem right and sliding through the turns; all of a sudden this car could carry huge amounts of speed through corners - and, for me, at least, it is now a lot of fun.

We ran the superbird in the WRS at Infineon Stock Car Course and it was a blast. The Superbird definately showed what it was all about that week. We ran it in Arcade Mode with -10% weight and +0% power. The handling was suprising and the power was great.

I get the impression that the Superbird is another one of those cars you really have to stick-it-out with before you can appreciate how good or bad it is. After sticking it out, most of the WRS felt the Superbird was a great car considering its age, weight, and design (if you are reasonable you can't expect an old muscle car to handle like a modern sports car).

In my opinion, the worst car in GT4 would have to be all of those people carriers that have no real place in a GT game.
Some of those little crappers are ok but many are total garbage.

What exactly am I think about when I talk about these... Anything in a FF format with less than 120HP (and especially anything falling into that category and being old at the same time).

I'm still a believer that GT should be a game for sports cars, sporty cars, and race cars. Not every last p.o.s. from Japan. :irked:

I agree with you for most of the kei cars, although I feel that a few cars like the Beat and the Cappuccino do have a place in GT.

If there are kei cars in GT, why not Camrys and Impalas and Ford Fusions (the US-market sedan, not the Euro-market crossover)? That aspect of GT always irritated me.

As for cars I hate, I nominate the Cizeta Moroder V16T. At least let me put a wing on it so I can keep the damn thing on the road!

Always hating on the V16, it's not that bad, besides the useless brakes. ;)

The 427 Cobra is in the same boat, some people honestly expect it to handle like a Lotus. Carrol Shelby himself called the car a "turd" because of its poor driving dynamics.

Remember kids, cars with huge, heavy engines + poor suspension and weight balance, = a little trial and error to get the car around the track properly. :)

I am with Kent in really disliking the overabundance of Japanese ****boxes in the game. My god, when will it end. PD has way too much nationalistic pride. The crappiest car that should be in the game, I'd say, would be the Mazda Autozam AZ-1. It's tiny and slow, but at least it's decent for its size, and it has a unique body style and layout... it looks like a mini Ford RS200.

I dislike the Alpines and the Shelby/AC Cobras only because they're hard to control. I know someone is going to tell me to learn how to drive, but I'll say right now that as cool as the Cobra is, it's extremely difficult to drive properly. Even if I can do "trial and error" to get through a single lap without spinning out, there's no way I could do that reliably. Maybe, eventually, but it would take a whole lot of time. Why would I waste all that time to learn how to drive the Cobra?

I don't like most of the French cars and I think there should be more historic ones. The Citroen DS would be a nice addition. What happened to all the historic French sports cars? All we get are a bunch of cruddy little (and big) FFs, with the MR Clio Sport and a couple others mixed in. I think France was grossly short-changed in GT4.
