GT4ever, why the hell do you dislike that motor carriage? It's one of the things that started it all..!! it's crap to drive, i tried to drift that thing :P couldn't get that working tough :) You are right about the coffee brakes in between the cien's gears, but you're wrong about it's handling, it has awesome handling and it was my main game car for a while.

IMHO, the steering is bad because in Costa, I crashed 9 times in 1 lap for the same reason for the 2000. But I bought 1 thing for the suspension and it worked just fine. So I can take the Cad off my list.
And the M5 can come off too. Why? I tried the test another 3 times and never failed.
And I don't like the Daim because it's top speed is 12 mph, and I raced it with the 360, got lapped with 2 laps in the race! And I know it's not for racing.

Hehe i got it to run 200 mph.. how? a little push in the back of a Minolta :P

Oh, yeah, because the Daimler weighs 500 lbs. and the Minolita can go about 200 mph. The force of the push will make it go faster.
Now if only that was its normal speed...

Yeh I lifted it and upgraded it all the way for that track. If you lower this car, your in for a rough ride. Its a fun lil car, though I dont have it anymore since my game went corrupt. Since then, Im a lil over 50% i think.

The pao, despite being slow, had some very modern looks to it. Kinda look like what chevy is doing with the retro styling, only that car was done years ago, lol.

Yeah the pao is slow, but fun to drive if tuned fully. And i know everything about driving a fully lowered vantage, really tough to drive :P And yeah Gt4ever, if that only was it's normal speed :)
I've now bought 2 vantages (different colors) and i'm not going to tune them at all besides oil and see how they drive.

Any high-speed braking is insanely unstable. I stoped tuning it since, after I used it for the Astin Martin series. Then strangely I bought 4 others since, all different colors. lol

Must be the looks, so appealing.
An aston marting challenge? *puts bob on track*

:odd:

at the moment, its the TVR Speed 12 and the Gillet Vertigo. The Speed 12 is almost impossible to turn. I tried tuning it, giving it race tires(because that thing was a disaster with Sports tires), but it has proven unsuccessful. as for the Vertigo, I loved it in GT3. it wasn't as fast as say the Viper, but it handled well and was confortable to drive, but now its completely different. it has so much horsepower but so little handling and braking.

You're right about the speed 12 but it has great looks tough. :sly:
Haven't tried the Gillet yet, might try.

RACECAR is right about that one. Fast drag car but HORRIBLE braking/control/handling. It costs $1.1M, and it will be one of the worst $1.1M you have ever spent. I have one, and it can't even handle Clubman Stage Route 5. Don't buy it.

Well, it is split for me.

I hate teh Alfa Spider (The 60s one), becasue I drove it in the super licence test number two, and I was a shattered man. It was underpowered, slow, adn it wobbled all over the track. I don't knwo how I didn't crash.

Then there is teh Lister Storm. It's gearbox sucks, and it will always finish in a far last. I managed to squeeze a 4th place outta it, but its crappy gearbox means that it is a truckload of suck.

The Mazda 787B or whatever it is called: I bought one abd blew the 3.5 mill on it, thinking that it is a good car. I put in teh stage four Turbo and all, and I raced it, and it's gearbox is crappy, the handling sucks, ad it feels like it flys whenever I try taking it over 50. It is horrible. I sold that POS adn won teh Minolta Toyota, and now, with 10,000 miles, I am still using it ( Though it may need a rigity refresh soon)

But, the Plymouth Superbird takes the cake. It is slow, I never got it to top 100, it handles like crap, it doesn't have any brakes, and it has the turning circle of a tank. Even with an expert drier like me at the wheel, I bounced all over the road like a kid in the Escudo.

I wasn't bashign it, but you knwo how in GT2, people would just buy the Escudo and bounce off all teh walls to win the race? Yeah, that was hwo it pretty much looked like.

I believe the Superbird was already defended once in this thread, but I'll say it again too; it's an alright car if you change your driving style to suit it. Brake incredibly early, and it gels a lot better. After I figured that out I was able to win that Mission with it :).

As for the 787B, I'm shocked someone doesn't like it. I find it so incredibly easy to drive, yet it still feels realistic. The Minolta feels unfairly grippy, and the other cars from the Mazda's era (the Nissan R89/R92, Sauber, etc), not to mention the GT-one, feel a lot less stable. I'm sure full-tune the more modern cars post faster times, but the 787B is the only prototype I can take around the 'Ring at full tilt... while having a discussion with someone in the room, and still post a low 5min time. The only disappointment is not being able to give it an extra gear.

I really liked the 787, great handling when tuned, faster than the speed of sound. And as far as the Superbird, tanks have a turning radius of zero, sooooo your analogy does not work, but good points. lol

it must not suck that bad if its a truckload of suck and not a busload of suck:sly: anyhow, I'm surprized someone says the Lister is bad. I've driven it many times and while its not a perfect handling car like say, the Skyline, at least its not a Vertigo. you just might need to change your style to drive it.

ah, you must have not tuned the handling to handle all that extra power you gave it. you have to remember that when a car gets extra grunt, it gets extra hard to handle. before you know it, you've got a Speed 12.

it might be the way your driving it. perhaps your are a person who pervers all of his cars to be able to brake late and handle well, so you might have t odo some extra pratice with it. just my opinions.
