congrats on the featured tune, it brought me to your garage and i loaded 2 of your tunes onto my cars. I always race with a fanatec but often just do quick tests for feel on the DS3. The Spirit R tune and S13 tune feel like they will be a hell of a lot of fun when I fire up the wheel later. look forward to trying a few more tunes.

I really like a tendency for oversteer with my cars and it seems like you guys have nailed it while still having them easily controllable.

the S13 was a community effort, so thanks goes to those who put in their wisdom; it's a tricky chassis, you're probably aware.

the FD is the éfini RX-7 Type R, not Spirit R type A. The setup would work on the Spirit R but it would be very sensitive and oversteerish.
 
oh yea, I tried the "Jade Warrior" Spirit R tune on the first page since I had that car in the garage already. I will absolutely be trying more of the tunes in here when I get around to it. I sort of mixed the 2 posted TME Evo tunes onto a TME evo in my garage and it was fantastic. Its been many years since Ive played a GT game and just now getting back into it with GT6 so I am trying tunes from all over the place to try and get a feel for tuning and what I like. I am sure I will use a lot of tunes from here as a baseline starting point when tuning other cars.

you may, at some point, start noticing that many cars from the same manufacturer can sport similar tunes and achieve similar, not identical, results. they're all like families :lol:

Just signed up to this forum and this was the first thread I looked at because I'm looking to up my game when it comes to car set up. I always give it a go but I think I have a lot to learn, especially when it comes to diff settings. When I get home tonight I'll share a couple of my own tunes for you to try and see what you think and I appreciate any help/constructive criticism you can offer.

I don't want to clutter up the thread so if it's ok with you I'll just post the one tune. Having said that I've just realised I've stumbled into a thread of tunes that fit a very specific criteria which mine may not be suitable for.

Clocked 1:28.078 on deep forest in this. While it would be awesome for a flatter track, the suspension kept bottoming on tracks like deep forest.

It's not a major issue, but I did lose some time fighting it there. Much less pronounced on the ring, but there were a few turns thqt caused it. As long as you're careful it won't be a huge issue.

oh boy I am going to have to try/tinker that.

I am currently racing in a weekly "eurotrash" series, euro cars, 550pp, SS tires. So ill have to build a 2nd one starting with your setup and see if I can make this car work at a higher PP range.

Btw your "Whiteout" Lancer Evo tune worked great for the latest seasonal event. I just threw on snow tires and ran it as is.

After spending time behind the wheel i finally decided i needed to get a wheel stand as my old table just wasn't cutting it due to my force feedback setting's...
My setup is starting to look more complete for me at the moment. Below is my current setup (Minus the paddle shifter extensions)

Tune wise i am finding myself more confident running FWD and 4WD cars and i'm working on a few RWD car's as well.

Snake's Update IV:

It has been few weeks since I upgraded my wheel and pedal setup. In that time I've relearned braking with load cell and accustomed myself to the belt-driven force-feedback. Also having an extra pedal along with shifting about the gears via H-pattern have taken some getting used to. I still botch launches and miss shifts occasionally. But I've been able to adapt to the game physics well.

After the long drought, I finally have a number of tunes to share with you all, including the likes of the Black Bird "Porsche".
