Well that's similar when somebody says Lamborjini. Now this makes me get out of this planet.
I don't play GTSport. No, the proverbial straw was a GTP user avatar.Seen a few too many anime girl decals in the GTSport Discovery?
What I really don't get is grown ass men's infatuation with scantily-clad cartoon Asian schoolgirls; that creep factor. I mean...
Is the last straw thing referring to straws you use for drinking or the stuff in farmer's mouths?
Okay, so my own frustration and befuddlement may have come through a bit with that, but I have indeed observed bona fide adult males displaying a significant enough degree of interest in the subject matter. I don't know that the individual whose avatar sparked this necessarily fits the bill."….grown ass men…?'
Where are you getting those stats, tiger?
Is the last straw thing referring to straws you use for drinking or the stuff in farmer's mouths?
This. An individual piece of straw is pretty benign and carrying it wouldn't be a significant burden, but it adds up. Indeed, the "straw" in this instance wasn't anything worth noting, but I've observed it enough to ponder the skeevy implications. It's the one that broke the camel's back.
I would like to invite you to our High School. I have a classmate there who has a wife. An anime wife. I couldn't imagine what would you do with him! What I really don't get is grown ass men's infatuation with scantily-clad cartoon Asian schoolgirls; that creep factor. I mean...
Surely I'm not alone here.
What really freaks me out, is not that some people really like animes, is the liking of these "THICC" surreal anime drawings.
Protip1: Don't Google image search unless you have some idea what might show up.What the 'heck' did I just throw at my search engine?!
Serves me right for being nosey.
Heaven forbid you find yourself on one of those websites. What really freaks me out, is not that some people really like animes, is the liking of these "THICC" surreal anime drawings.
So it's the two-five-zero Testa Rossa? Two-eight-eight GTO? Five-one-two BB?I can't stand when people say Ferrari 458 like it's one number. Four-fifty eight. No! It's Four. Five. Eight. Get it right.

Protip1a: Even if you have an idea what might show up, still expect some porn.
Sorry mate, I didn't want to freak you out, but I just wanted to say that those kind of animes really annoy me.I didn't even search 'images' !
Just a casual text web search curious about 'THICC' that brought me thumbnails to inform me that I was quite ignorant about a fat slice of anime.
There is a small selection of anime graphic novels in my collection of graphic novels, so I had a right to be curious, no?
Also, when did Comedy Central become the "repeat the same shows over and over again in a order so we go through the entire series in two weeks" channel? Nothing but That 70s Show and The Office 90% of the time. They're not even trying. They have so much random stuff to pull from that they could put a different show on every half hour. Remember Upright Citizens Brigade? TirggerHappy TV? Put on reruns of that stuff. Crank Yankers. Why not?
Me neither.Okay, I don't get the fascination with anime
Nope, I personally don't like any form of Japanese animation. I can remember watching Pokemon when I was a small child and I just did not care for it. (I still don't)Surely I'm not alone here.
It's usually more fanart than actual anime.Sorry mate, I didn't want to freak you out, but I just wanted to say that those kind of animes really annoy me.
Fun fact: Friends is never not on in some part of the world. I Love Lucy and The Simpsons are also on that list.We get (on comedy central) reruns of friends.
Wish I could unsee it but I can't.Fun fact: Friends is never not on in some part of the world.

To be frank, I'm just going by my best recollection of a list I saw several years ago. I do seem to recall Seinfeld, and I believe M*A*S*H was on it as well.I'm not so sure about The Simpson's as Fox has never done much with it syndication wise. Seinfeld however probably belongs on the list.
I don't make a habit of watching anime because I don't really watch shows or movies, but I appreciate the style in videogames and things. Its sharp, attractive aesthetic is very appealing to me, much more than the blunt or rounded styles and designs more common in the west. Anime also tends to do a lot more to convey action and a realistic sense of space, and it covers things I enjoy that you don't really get elsewhere, like mecha or cars.Me neither.

The main reason I never cared for any of them was mainly because of it's style of animation, I just never have been a fan of it.
