The race suit and helmet that I select won't stay on, it always reverts to plain white. The game has no problem taking money out of my bank!
After you buy the racing gear, you have to go to your Garage --> Racing Gear --> Then click "Wear" on the items you want to equip. I thought the same thing at first.
As far as things I'm disappointed in:
1. The number of new cars, especially street cars, is pathetic. No new BMW, Audi, Benz, Lexus, Infinity etc. only manufactures that got new street models are the American ones. I'm happy to see all the new race cars, but as someone who uses street cars 90% of the time, I'm let down by the new car list. Not to mention most if the "new" cars in the game are about 5 years old...it's almost 2014, not 2007!! We get a few new race cars like the old Audi Rally car and the Pike's Peak cars (with no Pike's Peak, roight), which are niche cars that the average player will hardly use, if ever...more stuff to be deleted by the stock yard lol.
2. The cars converted from standard to premium are a joke. We get a Toyota 2000GT, but no Supra RZ, no AE86, no Jag E-Type, no Hakosuka, no 240Z?? Seriously?? I understand that those older cars are somewhat iconic, but so is the RZ, not to mention it's one of the most used cars in the game. Sick of seeing Kaz put emphasis on cars that HE somehow thinks are important parts of auto history, yet they skip over some of the most popular and widely used cars in history. Where are the F-body Mustangs?? Where is the E30 BMW?? We get 40 MX5 variants, but only a single JZX??
3. The moon mission. It was a fun 15 minutes, but I'll never play it again! Can't imagine the resources wasted on that.
4. Have to be in car to view it, and still no car viewer that lets you control the camera.
5. Traction control automatically turns on when you drive off track! How is this realistic???? Not to mentioned it completely kills being able to drift sections that are off the main course.
6. The tuning is still the exact same as GT1!! And actually with fewer tuning options than before. The recycling of old features is getting very tiresome.
7. No "default settings" anywhere in the tuning menu, plus they brought back the garbage bungy sliders.
8. Premium Nissan Z33, with fully customizable suspension, has a rear spring rate that ranges from 13.3 to 33....I'm sure this is a mistake, but still annoying.
