Things That Really Annoy You In GT6

I have two more complaints this morning:

1. The driving line isn't very good; the line and the breaking points just don't work very well. Doesn't seem like they put much effort into that this time around.

2. A lot of the really cool new premium cars I'll never get to drive because I don't grind video games, and it's impossible to buy them without 100's of hours of grinding. That's ridiculous. $10 and $20 mil cars when some of the best race prizes barely crack $50k.

Another thing that really annoys me and maybe I am wrong here but it seems there is less traction during night races. I can understand that the track is cooler and therefore less heat in the tires but there is a huge difference.

I ran Daytona on the Tuned Car festival using an Aventador on sports soft tires then I ran Daytona on the Midnight Racers using the Aventador on racing hard tires (which should have more traction than the sports) and I probably had at least 25% less traction. Weird or what.

Not really. At night the track is cooler. Cooler track=cooler tyres=less traction.

Race tyres (soft, medium or hard) have far less temp tolerances than road sports. If the temp isn't in the required operating range, you may as well be running snow tyres.

That the exact same car alters characteristics depending on the task at hand.

E.G. I did a mission race today at the 'ring in the nissan GT Academy 24h gtr. There were a couple of bends which were a flat out 2nd gear at best. Using the same car in free run, I was able to easily power through the same corners in 3rd a good 20-25mph faster.

In a single race at the same track, with the same car, it's only 10-15mph quicker in a low rev 3rd. Anymore and it's off the track. It was even worse in GT5. You'd set your car upin free run, then when you race it's as if someone swapped your car!

It really annoys me that after every race, a replay starts... I don't want to see the replay! And if I do, I'll click the replay button myself.... Grrr...

I totally agree with you about our senses being limited by the game, so slightly enhanced sound could be beneficial.

BUT...have you tried drifting on CH tires??? That's not tire squeal. That's a Banshee scream. And when you get really sideways, the sound gets all broken and chattery. Sort of as if the tires were skipping along the ground, but not...

And it's so LOUD!!!
I haven't drifted on CH. Only CS. From my standpoint it's not terribly loud. Maybe it could be quieted down a bit. Also, the tire chatter is more or less down to what kind of tire they wanted to model. Some tires IRL do chatter like that when they start to slide fully.

Wow, really?
That's a bit disappointing.

Actually, I really enjoy the absence of endurance races @Tired Tyres.

It makes the rain change and time change rather pointless imo. The reasons the enduros had their charm, at least the 24 hour ones were because of those two attributes.

Though it really doesn't matter what we think since enduros are gonna come to GT6. I don't believe GT6 will go without enduros for too long.

The PP system is deeply flawed. The Rocket can qualify for basically anything, its PP should be huge. Restrictions for what cars (and their modifications) can enter events should be much tighter.

The obviously outsourced menu system. WTF is with the ugly garage and multiple renderers that make cars look like crap?

Just the sounds!

Few more newer cars would be nice, year 2000+, was really hoping Ferrari F12, La Ferrari and McLaren P1 would be in game too.
Can't believe there's no Ford Sierra Cosworth/RS500 in game either, that is a world renowned classic!

But they can wait, sounds can't, they need doing A.S.A.P!

I want 10 stage licencetests plus 10 stage missions ! its so easy now ... to progress quickly :(

SRF locked on
AI still sucks
Microtransactions

SRF is a nightmare too. Same goes for why did PD make ABS and TC default on..... argh!!!

What put me off was the 500k rigidity restoration on my HSV 010. How many hours do I need to clock to earn 500k to restore my HSV 010's rigidity?! There seems to be more incentive to play the arcade mode than to play career mode.

Its a nasty surprise too.... especially to be hit by the rigidity restoration bill, after doing 200 to 300 miles on the car. :|

i find it annoying that the Supra RZ isn't a premium car. All of its main competitors(GT-R, NSX, RX-7) have their premium versions, yet the Supra does not. Seriously PD? Seriously? Thanks for the added hp though.

When you hit the wall, your car ALWAYS ends up facing the wrong way :(
Well don't hit the wall then. :D
You are not supposed to, I think it is a good feature because in GT5 when you had a car that handled bad, you would just put it in the wall to get through corners.

I don't like the fact that everytime you change a custom part at your car you have to watch your car in the gt-auto garage. I would like to add more parts at a time, then when I'm done go to the little animation-screen.

3 custom BGM tracks, when set to custom play list is keeps loading new songs, why can't you just continue the one your playing.
