go to forza :)

I can't for a number of reasons, one, i've played it and it sucks, its overall selection of cars is too low, and the handling isnt... great. Another reason is that i am and have always been loyal to the Sony Playstation ever since the first GT and the first Playstation. And to buy an inferior system for an inferior game would be a waste of my money.

However i do think you may have understood, i don't think they need less common cars, i would live to see more selection of common cars as well, i want as many current market cars as possible. I do not want only a collection of super cars, I just feel having several of the same make of car seems like it can become pointless. Like i said they have 13 different Honda Civics, I understand that it's a genuinely popular car but there is no need for 13 different Honda Civics. or 17 NSX Honda's either, even if it is one of my favorite cars.

I guess the point I'm trying to get across is more selection of cars, yes, including the supercars some GT fans cant seem to wrap their heads around. It would'nt be a sellout move to include Koenigsegg or some of the lesser found brands.

Also maybe do away with the racing vehicles that are modeled after cars in the game already and make a mode where you can buy a car and turn it into a racer. Maybe that would have a higher selection of racing vehicles too... But im on the fence about that myself.

In my opinion, with which I believe some surely agree, Forza absolutely kills Gran Turismo when it comes to cars.

Much bigger variety, many more manufacturers and, most of all, there aren't as many duplicates as in GT. 👍

Lets not start this.

Anyway, how about a set of events such as "Mercedes exclusive" or "Lamborghini Trofeo", where you're limited to one make of car.

And car clubs, you join a car club which is basically a trading bloc allowing you to give a "uniform" car colour to allow the cars onto track, or be able to send cars to multiple members with no/less restrictions as opposed to just trading with normal friends.

Here's my list:

- Livery Editor, or at least better paint options including racing stripes (so I can paint the old Viper GTS blue with white stripes)

- The option to change the exhaust tips without having to buy an aftermarket exhaust.

- Six lug nut wheels for the Viper

- As stupid as this might sound, I would love if they can give us interchangeable engine sound chips. this way there will be no excuse when a car sound is inaccurate. Just find the closest one and swap it. If they did it with horns, I don't see this being a problem.

- Working lights and wipers in Standards.

- B-Spec disappearing or returning to how it was in GT4

- The ability to reset events and win the prize again.

- This is TOO much to ask, but it would be nice to be able to open the hood and doors in Photo Travel. Let us see the beauty of your car modeling, PD!

Different fuel types would be good, so different octane levels. If you were in a Keonigsegg you would use a higher octane fuel rather than a Hyundia Forte.

I'd like to see qualifying as an option for races in GT6, as well as more standing starts for races. It's rather dull starting in mostly the same position and the same way for A-Spec races.

My dream, a true custom paint shop for creating elegant candy and various colors. A real licence plate editor, of course including censorship. No French car except the Venturi 400 GT. Of course the E30 M3, The Sierra and Escort Cosworth, The Ferrari 412i, two doors VW Golfs, Black and chrome customisation rims shop, more detailed photomode locations, a real reflex camera, presets and bracketing etc etc, a tripod, yes this is a dream :)

I would like to see a more realistic LeMans. I would like to be able to have different classes like GT2 GT3 LMP1 etc. and your results are determines by class for example if you bring a GT3 car in you only need to beat the other GT3 cars on track just like real life Le Mans.

I think GT6 should get more involved with Top Gear, GT5 barely had anything about it (the test track, and some annoying challenges). This is what I think should happen if Top Gear is in GT6:
- A lot more challenges that would test your driving ability (mostly timed challenges with cones) and with interesting cars not a VW bus. This can be combined with the licenses tests.
- Cast of the show as narrators for these challenges (Jeremy, James and Hammond) just to make it more authentic
- Head to Head races between same-class cars in terms of top speed, cornering ability, drifting, drag races, etc.
- Beat the Stig mode where you try to match or beat the stig's time of different cars on the list they have on the show (yes that means PD have to make all those vehicles that appear on that list)
- Mini games, car soccer, hockey, jumps, tricks, etc.
- Online aspect of Top Gear could be giving the players a limited budget to buy, upgrade and mod a car and then racing each other to see what each one could do with it
- Top Gear cast comment about cars and talk about their history
- Tours in certain countries or regions, where you race on all tracks in those regions with relevant cars (italy tour would be Lambo vs Ferrari, and so on)
- Incorporate top gear in photo mode, the stage, and the track with stig

Other improvements I can think of with other parts of the game:
- Aspec could have several career paths where the player decides which types of races he is more interested in (muscle cars -> drag races -> Nascar) (Precision racing -> Touring car races) (Racing karts -> Super lightweight cars) (japanese cars -> drift -> touge) and so on
- No Bspec, at least in my opinion that was a waste of time, I wanna race not watch
- Touge, drift touge, night touge
- Drift could be just points, or points and time where you want to finish as fast as possible too
- Up to date cars 2013 Mustang not older 2010 model, new viper, new corvette, aventador, ferrari F70, koenigsigg hundra, LFA nurberbring, Ultiamate Aero SSC, so on
- AI should be a little bit more than brain dead (at least should be faster or more aggressive and varied)
- Car sounds MUST be improved, alot of cars sound really bad. The sound should feel more mechanical (gear changes, turbo sounds, blow off valve, superchargers should be more prominant)
- Fix shadows and smoke
- more photo mode areas
- Open doors, trunk, hood, roof in photomode, and interior should be accessible (we use glitches to get interior shots)
- Remove useless and repeating cars (dont need 100 miata's and skylines)
- Free camera with right analog stick while using behind-car cam
- Quick snapshot feature using R3 button to take pictures mid race
- Behind car cam should be a bit more flexible (it is too rigid in GT5)
- In car cam should have some feedback based on driving conditions (some tilt while cornering, bumpiness when offroad and so on)
- More rally races, snow races, nascar, F1, etc
- Instead of black silhouette for standard cars, use generic interior where it changes based on make (just emblem on steering wheel) and type of car
- More customization options while still keeping it classy (no underbody lights) and possibly some liveries
- Brake upgrades
- Customize car interior colour when applicable
- Change rim size
- Turn ON/OFF mechanical damage in A Spec
- Turn ON/OFF gas in A spec
- Better visual damage, lights break, windows break, bumpers fall, etc.
- More than one car in photomode would be awesome
- Environment sounds (sound of rain, lightning, cheers from crowds, commentators, city sounds, birds, waterfalls whatever just better sound)
- When gas is empty car stops, when tires are burnt out they pop, when you slam a wall your car is dead
- Challenges based on events in racing history (big achievements or winning a race with very bad odds)
- Either make cars get really dirty (to make car washes useful) or take out car washes alltogether
- Rear wipers should work too when its raining
- Rally races should have some mud and water splashing where you have to use your wipers
- If you buy a convertible car, you get to choose the roof up or down when racing
- Racing Modifications on more cars and possibly more Racing Mods per car (depends on application: drag, drift, rally, precision and so on)

That is all I can think of for now. Hope someone in PD reads this.

There is a lot of stuff on here about improvements, i was thinking... what about a more realistic money system? Having to fix a car after you hit a wall, or paying for gas, track costs when you test drive, and realistic cost for cars, parts, and upgrades. Maybe swap engines or buy new engines. just a thought that would be cool.

It would also be cool if you had a comparison for size in the garage, what about your driver standing next to the car, and when you swap cars he gets in and turns it on and backs out or something. That way suits and helmets would actually be worth getting... and you can buy all sorts of racing features, like helmets and suits, and more of a selection of tires and rims... just a couple thoughts.

This kinda brings me back to remembering a forza-like system. The game will figure out where you are from (NA, Asia, Europe, etc.) and have "Country rare" cars and more common cars. Also real currencies and prices could be used.

Now for my own bit, in the smaller car races like the Sunday Cup, there is no way that 12 normal little cars are going to fill up even a whole autumn ring. Variable audience generation would be nice here.

Gran-Turismo has always been about attention to detail. While somewhat lacking in the GT5 game, we could say it was that way because they were rushed. For this game, and I know this isn't really going to be in the game (unless you count end credits) hire some more people to get things going faster. From school I know that big group projects can be hard sometimes, but it could really make dlc and game quality a fair bit better.

Some say there will be over 1200 cars in GT6. Personally, I do not want that to be part of the marketing of the game if it is meant to only amaze people. I think I speak for most of us when I say we want quality over quantity. Sure it brings the game a bit down to earth when we can drive the same mx-5 that had each little interior option down to how many radio presets were on the radio, but come on, give us at least a real interior for those options.

Just an after thought, the whole "hire more people" could be a little extreme or off topic, but look how far some other games have come, pC.A.R.S. had the help of thousands, and look what they made out of the nightmare known as Shift 2.

Finally, for pre-ordering the game, if you are going to have editions of the game with exclusive cars for pre-ordering editions of the game, let every region be able to get the edition. Where I live I was unable to get anything more than the gt5 pack with the chrome line cars, when realistically all I wanted was the SLS stealth. Games have to stop favoring some countries over others. Yes I am saying that Canada needs some love. Git some GT Academy up in he'e

They had that in Gran Turismo 4.
I don't think so. There were a few cases where if you had a convertible it would be with the top down but this was only on a few races and you had no control over it.

One race that comes to mind was the Special Conditions event where you drove 2 laps on that track that went past the coast and up over the mountainside forward then backward to win that Toyota rally car. I ran that one a bunch of times winning and selling that car and on that one the top would be down. I think there were a few others but when you enter a normal A-Spec event the top was always up.

Would be cool if they had it like NFS Porsche Unleashed where under car settings you could set the car to top up or top down if it were convertible and it was separate by car so you could have one up and another down if you wanted. You could also set one car to automatic and another to manual if you wanted. By default when you bought a new car it picked the one you were using on your profile settings but you could override that on individual cars if you wanted.

Mount Spacers on every car/wheels

That... is the most ghetto idea I've heard for a GT game.

On Topic:
Functioning turn signals, fog lights, etc - I think it would be useful in online lobbies
Manufacturer decals
Reverse course maker tracks

There shoulden't be to much custumizaition, this is a more or less a profesional raceing game. But i think they should make a steet version of gt, with the custumizations of the nfs under grounds but everthing brand name and just as realistic as the standerdversion pf gt is. With pinkslips, money pots (like everyone pays 5000$ and winner takes all), money with every thing realisticly priced (its like impossiple to get some of the cars in gt5), drive train swaps (civics can be useful), brand name engins, nos, drag raaces, drift races down mountans and in parking garages, a clutch so speed shift (unless you switch to pedal shift or have pedel shift stock, you can take the body of a car and build it to be fast, light, and good handeling as you want ,working street lights, realistic crashes, and you can drive to diffrent cities and get diffrent garages and you can't quit the game until you park your car in a garage (a connected online world where when you go into a diffrent state, provence etc, it's likeit,s like going onto a diffrent server.

Do you mean Costa di Amalfi?

My 2nd most favourite track!

LOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!! Ahahahahahha! Sorry I laughed out loud! Becuase I did the exact same thing until I bought every car I liked and carried on until completing the game :D I remember starting out quite early and repeating an early race you could get Cr16,000 for until I bought myself the top-of the range Pagani Zonda. I used that alot until I got my first race car and then used it for speed runs. My fastest speed being 320mph (with slipstream) I also had that Nismo SKyline R34 not long after and could hit 280mph without slipstream.

Why not just buy an NFS game? It has all of that in it... And I think you mean NOS (Nitrous Oxide)

Maybe have a new transmission mod which allows only Final Drive adjustment while keeping stock gear ratios and for 5MT cars, you can have custom 5 speed transmission and custom 6 speed transmission. I would recommend the Final Drive adjustment with Stock gear ratios as lets say you try to put S2000 gear ratios with 4.444 Final Drive (which is approx 276-277 km/h with regular transmission) but if you're using custom transmission, it'll be slower and be at 295km/h due to a lack of the Secondary Gear Reduction.

Wheel spacers would be a great idea.

Too many cars have ugly wheel fitment with the wheels being 4+ inches inside the arch.

Yuck.

I'm a founder of 2 great series so my wants are from a racing stand point.

  • I want Timed race distances as well as lap counts.
  • I want split times from driver to driver instead of driver to 1st place leader. I want a qualifier option before start of the race.
  • I want a way to control the green start lights so we can pace lap ourselves and do a standing start grid option.

I'm sure there is more but this is all I could think of on the fly!
