Things You Want To See In GT6 Besides Vehicles and Tracks

Ahh ok, you said car cam stiffness, but meant the helmet cam? Sorry, I didn't see this.

I was mainly or actually only refering to the Shift 2 cam you mentioned. I didn't like that one.
Adjustable is good though.

Yeah just the ability to let the camera in cockpit view move more with the G-forces.

I don't know i just think it would add a nice touch that would be very easy to implement. You always hear people saying GT5 physics are good but the driving is boring, we'll maybe this would help give it more of an edge not to mention more realistic at the same time.

Hood view, roof cam is too high, bumper cam floats in space, HOOD VIEW. And hood should move at least a little with the "physics", there are some car with a hood view (Skyline R33), but the hood stays leveled even under heavy cornering and it doesn't even shake.

Analog rev and speedometer in every view, option for corner rev/speedo instead of centered.

All cars available in Arcade mode, no 100 limitation. If there is a hardware limitation reason for it, have multiple "favorite" lists, preferably with customizable names.

Multiple entry for endurance races and long events, this way you could do a 4hour nurb in a GT, but also a 300pp car, a classic, and so on. It could even be a progression inside the endurance serie itself.

Fast menus, especially if they aren't 3D or animated, and less menus. How long does it take to load friggin' jpegs and some hyperlinks? Because that's what it is, essentially.

Remove B-Spec.

If there still is special music in some menus like Used car and GT Auto, resume the track that was playing before you entered. Tired of only listening to the first 20-30 seconds of a track.

Every car buy-able new, and any car can end up used, hide special versions (black cars) in the used garage.

Remove duplicate cars of the same year, and gen if the model remained almost identical. 1 car of each year/gen/model is more than enough. Even if there is a fog light in the bumper on one version, even if the name is changed, even if one GTO is MR the other FR, pick one model per year. Tired of duplicates.

Bring back the old "city map" menu, if it's the 15 year anniversary, go back to the roots.

Remove the [white] noise from the engine sound generator.

Improve the sound spacialization, I'm following a straight pipe racing car and I can barely hear him unless I'm literally next to him, I should start to noticeably hear it within 10 meters. Read this Yamauchi http://sengpielaudio.com/calculator-distance.htm

Make the opponents exhaust sound actually come out of the exhaust instead of the center of the car. It's very off putting for my brain when the visual and audio representation of the game don't match each other. Move the sound of opponents 2 meters back, done.

Muting the race music should not mute the winning/losing song at the end of a race, or trophy at the end of a license. I would personally put the "win/lose" music and "used car/gt auto" music together on their own BGM slider in the audio option.

Remove the creation of custom thumbnails for each car. Pre-render a jpeg of every car with its stock manufacturer's paint jobs. I don't need to know if its my pink Lamborghini instantly from its thumbnail, I want the game to load and scroll my car list fast, way fast, way WAY faster, then I'll have all the time in the world to look at the performance points and know if it is indeed my matte pink Lamborghini.

I don't mind oil change, car wash, engine and frame refresh, but give me a way to do it within a nice 3D animated menu and also within the tuning menu.

Remove skid recovery force, remove skid recovery force, remove skid recovery force, remove skid recovery force

Removal of paint tokens. Instead we could unlock each paint individually and use them indefinitely.

Removal of horn tokens.

If you keep the driver outfit feature, put some effort into it.

Oh, and stop saving the game with each and every action I make.

Ability to set lounges to a time limit rather than a lap limit to better accommodate for endurance racing.

Being able to set a "Total time limit" to say 4 hours rather than guessing how many laps it would take to get there would be nice.

Adjust wheel sizes. Diameter and offset.

"Original" suspension.

Purchasable Anti-Lag Systems for turbo cars.

A handful of exhaust designs when up grading.

More carbon parts.

Engine swaps.

Visible front mount intercoolers when up graded.

Allow all wheels on all cars.

Nice work, Earth!

Looking through that list it makes me conscious of what a great title GT5 is...it's still ultra-absorbing despite missing so many features that I'd really like :D

Sony/PD seem to be the customers' champion at the moment, lets hope they've really been listening to the fans about GT5 and that we see some of that learning channeled through GT6 👍

Although NFS Shift is a meh kind of game, there was 1 feature that I liked: liveries on AI cars. When playing Forza offline, I find it a bit weird if my car has a really fancy livery, and yet all of my opponents are driving "unliveried" cars. Even when I was doing 12-car, one-make races in NFS Shift, each driver would have their own livery. There would be 20 liveries per car, and if you wanted to, you can use one for yourself, and there wouldn't be a risk that there's another driver with the same livery.

I would like to see breakdown options and durability testing so that if you do Le Mans 24hr with breakdowns on, you can test beforehand and check to make sure it has the least chance of breaking down. Would be nice to see this in GT6 PS4 but, it's very unlikely but, it's just an idea.

Correct me if I'm wrong but if I remember correctly, GT5 had no fans cheering, screaming people in the stands, etc.

I think it adds atmosphere to the track and would like to see screaming fans as well as other track ambiance in GT6.

I want to see realistic Le Mans 24 endurance in gt6 ! Not 24h of pure boredom ,like it was on gt5...More classes, more realistic tyre wear,"Who is pitting" notification back from gt4 :)

Tire wear will come. 4+ classes with 6+ cars of similar/same style would be awesome. Wouldn't feel ao bad lapping the Panoz then. 24hr Silverstone is a must to add too, with the TopGear BMW home build ....lol. I think problems should arise like fuel pump error, over heating due to coolant malfunction or suspension damage which could all need a few hours repair time.

I am confident this is not a new idea...

I'd like GT6 to produce automatically a short clip with the highlights of the race.

I personally think it would be easy to develop.
Once you set the soundtrack (selectable mp3) and the clip length (e.g. 3') the system would automatically create the movie (keeping start/finish, overtakes ...) . Basically is just a cut of the full length video.

The best would be to have a series of tools to edit the clip by yourself but it would be
very demanding for PD. An automatic clip would be ok with me.

What I'd love to see is some life on tracks.

Maybe it's just me, but I as I drive around tracks I have an impression that they are completely dead. Absolutely nothing at all is happening; nothing to be heard from occasional crowd noises. Sometimes when I stop my car (with or without stalling), I just hear nothing. As if everything around me was killed by some disease. Even the wind.

Computer generated video tutorials explaining the basics of good racing would go a long way to improving online play. There are plenty of newer racers who have passed the license tests who still don't have a grasp of the simplicity of good overtaking, braking, or the proper line.

ginsuh, I suppose you commented my post.
I wasn't talking about tutorials.
At the end of a GT5 race you can save the whole race... my thought was to have a chance to save the highlights.
If you run among friends it could be nice to save a shorter clip with, possibly, the best action.

More drift events, drag race modes and Sprint tracks. 500+ prem cars a MUST have and some dubstep would be perfect.

He wasn't talking about your post, he just wants some tutorial videos out there so the people who spend all day running into us can learn to use skill for passing and speed.

I would like a mandatory vote to kick a player. I'm sick of legit racers being kicked because people say "He rammed me" when everyone disagrees.

It is really annoying.

I agree. I got kicked last week because some guy I've never met before said I was in a race with him driving around the track backwards. I have NEVER done that, EVER. And was kicked before I had a chance to even debate it.

Either way, the online system needs ALOT of work. It's just terrible out there these days. The only thing even remotely good are low PP clean shuffles or clean PRO NASCAR.
