For NASCAR qualifying and "Go or go homers" with points standings. The 24 hours of Daytona. (Like In Grid for the 24 hours of Le Mans). Dirt Racing!!!!!!!!!!!

I especially love the Error in pitstops thing. That would call for hilarious online racing - imagine all the pitmen flying around!

I know!!!Let's hope that PD will give us the freedom to do that!!By disabling the auto-drive pit lane feature (the AI does it for you in GT4)....:D
 
Asymmetric tuning (indispensable for oval races).
Outer/center/inner tyre temperature. In this way camber and tire pressure can be properly tuned.

Of all the thin mentioned here, nothing compares to this...

The Hana highway is a 63 mile (109km) stretch that links Kahului and Hāna in east Maui, Hawaii. The road is made up of approximately 617 hairpin turns and crosses 59 bridges, 46 of which are single laned. Almost the entire route is through lush, Hawaiian tropical rainforest with the every day travel time being about 3 hours at an average speed of 15 -25 mph. I would upload a photo but I couldn't be bothered.

Honestly if PD could bit even a slice of this road in the game, I guarantee you would love it. Imagine it at 100mph with no traffic except 15 other cars chasing you. The road is 80% perfectly surfaced with a few exceptions that just add to the experience.

You and I have been to the same places...I used to live on Maui and drove the Hana highway all the time. Best combination of coast, rainforest and mountain driving in the world! And oddly enough, I used to live in Townsville as well, I went to JCU for a year back in '04/'05
 
I want the ability to turn a run of the mill road car into a race car. Take a boring Nissan Micra, give it a bodykit, put the engine where the rear seats should be and have some fun.
 
Banger racing mode in arcade mode for the knackered cheapies.Could have multiplayer split screen, 2p split & online too.
 
well damage is confirmed but what you think guys should we expect weahther changes and day /night cycles as well as visual customization or what i personally have a huge doubt on theose features being introduced in gt5 KAZ has been really blurry on the weather changes and as for customizationg we haven't been hearing anything about it for some time now
 
I'm almost certain weather & 24hr cycles will be in.Hopefully it's real time too.PD could include RT audio (ambient & vehicle sfx), RT physics & they are going that way with damage :).
 
I would love more specific tuning and racing catagories. You don't just go out and buy a racing exhaust, you look at your options - Titanium, stainless steel, etc. More precise aero tuning, like underbody panels, diffusers, vents, fender flares, splitters, canards... buying a rear wing doesn't let you do all of that! And with that stricter racing catagories, similar to SCCA autocross. some tracks have decibel limits, and you would have to choose your exhaust system based on that for example. And more advanced options like choosing boost pressures. What about techno wonders such as anti-lag, variable geometry turbos, active differentials. Lastly, better ways to understand the cars as you build and tune them. things like a dyno (and a better marked dyno graph for that matter), wind tunnel, tire pyrometer, and such.
 
the option to change all the offset and other dimensions on wheels and tire size... i don't see why i cant go VIP just for FUN and SHOW.

a "Paint Shop" to change color of my car AFTER i bought it and Rims.
 
If Gran Turismo is 'The Real Driving Simulator', then they should have something similar:

just one point to point race that you can do with friends, with awesome graphics

If you want to be a smart arse it's actually an MPV or a people carrier, it's not a van even if some people do call these cars minivans :sly:.
 
Well its different to the stereotypical cars like sports coupe's and family sedans etc. and its something I'd like to see other than Ricemobiles and musle cars. Therefore I think in my own personal opinion that it deserves a place in this thread. If not, I'm awfully sorry.
 
Slow, lumbering 4x4s & some extremely challenging off road courses, to test your off road abilities & the 4x4 technologies from different periods.
 
you know how some cars have optional extras like maybe a rim upgrade or sports exhaust or something of the sort.. that should be in the game. Then (if there's HSV's) we can have the 20" Pentagon wheel option.
