Things you would like to see in GT5 other than cars?

I would say with the very real possibility of 1000 or more vehicles being in the game that the following would now be one of my top final wishes.

The ability to choose your opponents in Arcade Mode. Meaning you pick what vehicles you want to race against and how many. Perhaps you want to race 1 on 1 or race a whole field of 15 other cars. Then have the ability to due as a minimum a quick tune on each of the cars you have hand picked to race against. This would allow for infinite number of races that you could enjoy after Sim Mode is completed. Also for those that for whatever reason do not have reasonable acess to high speed internet. Also hope that your "B" Spec drive can be improved enough over time that you could race against them in Arcade mode if you so choose. One more thing we should be able to hand select opponents in arcade mode from are user garage also. Also with quick tune maybe we can set A.I. from the "B" - spec range from
1-5. That way on cars that have power adders but not necessarliy tuned or meant to handle that power the A.I. could still be able to drive the car and keep it on the track with settings of 2 or 3.

As mentioned many times by lots of people. Online features need to be extensive in regards to allowing players to create user races or even race leagues. Meaning ability to create a race series and race it on weekly of monthly basis until all the pre-defined races are completed. Hopefully this could all be completed in game meaning that a user race series would not have to be manually put together, with rules and details controlled offline.

Livery Editor or Race Modifications still ranks at the top of my want list. Livery Editor could simply be paint mode ( solid colors ) with stickers / race number applied. However with all that has recently been revealed about the game I will no longer be deeply disappointed if GT5 is released without a livery editor feature. Provided we can still tune with enhancements similar to GT4

Also want the ability to instantly save photo's to your PS3 hard drive. The save time hopefully would be 2 to 4 times faster than currently. Also in photo drive mode want to be able to save camera settings for multiple photo shots around the race course. Photo mode in arcade with 16 hand selected cars would be amazing and brilliant.

I agree with you.

Qualifying and side by side grid starts.

Yeah Qualifying sessions would be so good actually. The game needs that badly for endurance races and also because the grid is obviously bigger now (16 cars or whatever). I mean there was no point having it in previous GT's as there was only 6 cars racing but yeah it would help a huge bit for GT5 I agree with you dude.

Please, PD, please!

San Francisco circuit, maybe? With a minigame to run over as many hippies as possible in a Hummer?

hahaha having visited San Francisco myself in 2008 with my dad. I can tell you, those hills would make a fantastic curcuit. Imagine just hammering down them with a Veyron or something. :scared:

1. A huge test complex with miles and miles of varying track, skid pan, drag strip etc.

2. Changing weather mid race e.g. starts spitting rain, have to go pit and put wets on.

3. More tuning & customisation options.

4. Much better engine noises.

5. Real rally stages. I know this is extremely unlikely, but it would so amazing to drive through Ouninpohja, or the Col de Turini at night.

6. Also, as i said in my other post. An IRC license.

Shouldn't this thread be either locked or deleted now? I mean, what if KY or someone from PD sees that this thread is still putting forward ideas for GT, we will never see the game !

1. Awesome track background with good looking trees
2.Skid marks
3. Lots of tracks.
4. "Autosculpt" for car visuals.
5. Drag and drift mode

I forgot to add something else which isn't massively important but was quite enjoyable at the time, which may have only been good because there wasn't so much to do in games back then but......

....In the first le mans game for the Ps1, I think i remember driving a GT car and you could change the rev limiter on your car during the race, depending on whether you wanted to conserve your engine for the entire race or had to crank up the power in order to catch up with someone or get a better lead, of course if you used it too much your car could blow up and i think you used more fuel.
Whether it would work for the GT series i'm not sure...maybe something to adjust when you are in the pits during a long race (6 - 24 hour).......just an idea.

I think you may have been able to turn the lights on/off aswell.

tattybye

Since there have been announcements of Super GT, NASCAR, IRL, WRC, and even Top Gear in GT5, get celebrities from each series in the game. It would be like Tony Stewart for NASCAR, Jezza, James, Hamster, and The Stig for Top Gear, and so on.

Agree, will be fun!

I know Dale Earnhardt Jr is a member of iRacing, I wonder what he would think of NASCAR in GT5 and Physics.
