A 17-year-old Minnesota girl who spent weeks looking for her missing dog was horrified when she unwrapped a box left on her doorstep and found the dog's severed head inside.

...... that was not pretty, by any means of the word. Under the head it had Valentine's Day Candies in it, and someone knew her as it had her name on the box. So it may be one of her "friends" that did this to her.....

I await the day thay find the offender. This is sick, and to whoever has comitted these acts is seriously depraved no doubt.

When he is caught, instead of jailing him they should put him through the same trauma that poor girl is going through, perhaps one of Jigsaw's little traps could keep him busy.

Ok, thats messed. Its one thing to do something horrific to a girl, but to bring an innocent animal into too? Serioiusly, whoever did that is sick and should be wiped from this earth.

This reminds me of a couple of years ago. My dad was outside with my dog, and while watching him run up the ditch and along side the road, a truck actually went into the gravel and hit my dog. The sad part was the guy actually turned around and came back, only to demand that my dad pay for his broken headlight. The baseball bat was grabbed and some words were used, and the guy left in a cloud of dust, but what that guy was thinking still leaves me questioning the mentallity of some people.

Truth is, I think this guy won't be serving more than a year or two and/or a fine ($10K or less?)

I'm sure this would fall under damage to personal property and maybe something involving terror.

I knew our society had issues. There is always some bozo doing stupid stuff as a joke but not realizing that it is actually horribly terrible, and then making everybody else disgusted. I wonder what he is thinking right now...

Anyway, seriously now, I honestly can't imagine doing something like that, I can't understand the thoughts that go through the heads of people like this. It's not only inhumane, is downright INHUMAN, I would put these sorts of sickos in the same basket as paedophiles, I cannot understand them either.

These both ring true, as it does strike me as something a slighted 17 ex-boyfriend might do.

"She liked that dog more than she liked me, I'll fix that."

The Valetines candies further reinforce that scenario. If we take a look at the 17 year old male, its likely he'll brag to a friend, and it'll come out.

The sad part about the guy getting caught, is that it won't make the news. OR get published as a follow-up story.
