Never knew you can get that car. Where to I get cars that Rave rather than Race? Does it come with a new livery?
Go easy, the 'c' and 'v' are next to each other on Western keyboard layouts

Well done, you two. 👍 Updating Leaderboard...

I think I can say now I'm satisfied. I spent 4 days trying to get my ol' buddy SRT10 to 301+ mph. Even when I got to 301, it wasn't enough. It topped at 302...

[Edited]

I love you too lol. :dopey:

I'll spend another 4 days trying to top your new speed anyways. Like we say here: Busqueme y vera que me encuentra.

Just as a matter of interest, as this car's speed was extremely highly contested and proved incredibly difficult to improve... Viper, how easily does the SRT-10 wheelie?

DE

as far as i experienced, it's not as easy to make the viper wheelie as other cars. all i can say, is that my speed (300,95) was for me a point, where i ran against a wall. the only point i guess where you can get a higher speed out of my setup is maybe the suspension........if your run is legit ImprezaAddict, then congrats, but be sure that i won't give up easily!

What I mean is, do you think it's possible to make that great an improvement without wheelieing? I'd rather have an opinion from an experienced tuner of the SRT-10 than have to ask for video verification :)

no hard feelings or mistrust against ImprezaAddict, but i defended the Viper-title two times, and i know that it's a really hard car to make improve with. and so i'm not sure if such a big margin is possible without wheelieing.... again, no hard feelings or mistrust, but it's hard to believe for me, as an experienced tuner of the SRT-10!

In that case, ImprezaAddict, I shall have to ask for a video to prove your speed. I hope you understand that it's nothing against you personally, but merely a way of ensuring that your speed is legitimate - as, from experience, that car seems unlikely to be capable of such speeds. Prove me wrong :)

I will gladly get a video, but...how? I got no video camera...or VGA thing...And how could I repeat the run? 4 days!

Sure, the replay is there...And the the still has the setup...If I can't submit a video, it won't be legit?

If you've got a MaxDrive, Gameshark or similar, you could ask someone to record it for you?

Or find someone in your area with recording-devices.

Don't you have a digital camera? Those things mostly come with video-recording functions. A webcam is possible, too...

EDIT: Since I'm an addicted stalker, I've found this post of yours, proving you have an ARMax - therefore able to submit a replay in *.Max format, which is the most common format for PS2 files. If you need a recorder, WRS Stewards Sphinx and Mr P could record it for you, or 2078TM, who owns a MaxDrive (in NTSC, I believe?) too.
(with the Mega Turbo code from the AR)
Proof should arrive soon ;)

Okay, here goes.

My room is probably 4-5 meters away from my room. I have a VideoCAM Messenger webcam which reaches up to my sister's room (Right beside computer). My dad has one of those old cameras that are black and heavy...

Whatever anyways, nobody believes my speed...

As seen in the edit above, people might just believe it if you bring the proof using the ARMax you said you have in the 'Funny Spinouts' thread.

I did not use the ARMAX to get this speed. If I were to use it, one slight tap would get me 380 mph.

I didn't imply that. All I mentioned was that, with an ARMax, you could very easilly send over your replay, in *.max format, for someone else with an ARmax of MaxDrive to verify and/or record for you.

Awesome, so I can make my time legit now. How?

I have that ARMAX.

I'm not familiar with the process on ARMax, as I have a MaxDrive, but you'll need to copy the disk over using a USB Thumbdrive. Since it's a special version of ARMax, I'm clueless as to how to operate it, but you should be able to launch an interface for copying stuff off the memcard?

Holy...that sounds complicated. Just ignore it, I won't be able to submit a video.

I mean, yes I have used the Mega Turbo code on the test course before, but anybody who has used the code knows that you gain 150 mph with a really quick tap of the button.

Hi Impreza,

It's too bad this has gotten more complicated than it needs to be.

In any case...I have an ARMax and have used it to do what is being suggested here - which is to use the ARMax to copy your replay onto a thumbdrive, insert the thumbdrive in your computer and upload it in a post on this thread.

This has nothing to do with the cheat codes - it is just a way to get a copy of your existing replay into this thread.

I would do that but I have the specialized ARMAX for GT4 which only has codes for the actual game. The main menu consists of the "Go to GT4 Codes" and "See other ARMAX Products."

Hello all speedfreaks

Here's couple speeds from my test sessions.

I'm going back to test track tune my TVR Cerbera speed 12. I'm doing 298mph with it at the moment.

Edit ... and I made it with TVR.
