Hit gold this morning (barely) with a 1:59.194. I feel I’ve not yet reached my limit so will continue pushing!!!

Cannot get on with autopolis as much as I try, the recent daily was the same, as much as I wanted to study the track and evolve with it, it’s just not working for me,

Usually I’m daily racing but I’ll chuck some laps in to these for the money.

Had my gold disappear last week by a 100th would you believe whilst going back to the future at DF 😁

Happy time trialling guys

Morning folks - had another long run in the Mustang this morning and got about as close as I think I’m going to get to my goal. The time on this one seems to come and (more often) go in a flash here, especially as it’s a relatively short lap. No consistency, but that doesn’t matter now - a loooong way from the top in time, but 290th just shows how tricky this is to get right.

Had a quick run in the NSX as well to get a time on the board. Seems like a really nice combination, so looking forward to getting stuck in more over the weekend.

Kind of happy with this time, but a little disappointed at how the right sweeper went at the very end. I was forced to drift it hardcore as I messed up the turn in. It looks fast but in reality a lost almost a tenth.

Practically reached my limit everywhere else on the circuit so this will be my final time🥂.

Weak ABS harnessed peoples🤙.

1:56.329 and a place into the top 10 as a bonus, very happy with that! Although this is not my first time into the top 10, my first time was with the Red Bull X2019 at Grand Valley which is also a combo I quite enjoyed. I have to admit, I enjoyed this one a lot too, the 2017 NSX is one of my favourite road cars in the game and it handles Autopolis very nicely. Think a .1 may be possible but we'll see.

Holy cow, how does one follow that!? Great time buddy! I’m looking forward to getting back to this one as it seemed a lot of fun.

I wanted to get those last two tenths of a second in the bag at Laguna Seca first though, largely fruitless expedition today led to much frustration… the Mustang is actually really cool to drive but you have to be so delicate with brake and throttle inputs… when it’s right it’s so beautiful and even though it’s snappy as hell you can drive it on the throttle out of some corners! But yeah there is little room for error at LS and the Mustang spinning wildly from literally a single grain of sand on full throttle makes it very frustrating indeed… many many many high speed crashes happened

In the end I had to settle for a tenth and that might be it, the digits after the decimal place feeling particularly fitting in the aftermath of that session!

Morning folks,

Looking at my first session time at Autopolis at 1:56.950 what already was somewhere in the 80 placing ( was 40 ) that clearly isn't enough for a top 100, and thats kind of my goal everytime...IF the combo suits me, has to be a roadcar combo.... I suck at higher speeds 🤣🤣

But for autopolis that ment going out again to get deeper in the 56's.
The problem with this combo for me is getting the car stabilized on the slower corners, that first hairpin is so difficult on throttle...

Second problem spot for me is the very last corner, still haven't found a good braking spot and beeing inconsistent in terms of exitspeed in the corners before that doesn't realy help....

I did runs with approx 4/5 laps and had good optimals though, lots of 56.6 and some 56.5's but still to inconsistent.

But had a slightly better "slidy" lap
So stole some places back on the board 😁

I did rent this lap, no worries on rims etc...
But jeezz what a beautiful car to look at!

Epic @Gomario JSP and @Metalgear9493 thanks for the physics defying ghost!

I had another run this morning, and as Jomar mentioned, getting out of the hairpins cleanly can gain tenths. On my best lap here I got a big snap of oversteer coming out of the first one and then tried to overcompensate in the long uphill left directly afterwards and ran a bit wide - cost me over two tenths otherwise I’d have been on for a 57.2 or better. As it was this is still a quarter of a second faster than yesterday, so pretty happy.

Thanks buddy!,

Your time is comming down slowly to I see 😁, fun trial! ( except for the hairpin) 🤣🤣
What clearly works for me is keeping a tiny bit of throttle thru it, fully lifting results in shredding some rubber 🤣

Hopefully my 1:28.23 at Laguna will hold to keep my Gold streak going. I haven't been at odds with a TT since the Vantage at Watkins Glen, and that one was at least on Comfort tires, if I remember correctly. 😬

At the end of my weekend effort i wasn't expexting to gold this. Actually i was not expecting to gold autopolis in any form.

I'd like to be able to keep composure over the whole lap. Reality is that when i'm ahead of my best in the downhill after the hairpin the sequence of corners from there to the end, without any real brake zone, are an histeric input using the throttle like a morse S.O.S. message

Just tried out the Ford Shelby GT350R '16 @ Laguna Seca - it's quite a handful, even on Racing Hards! I even had to turn on TCS, albeit only to a single notch. Definitely would be interested in seeing a one-make Daily Race A featuring this combination. My best time is something around 3.99% off the top, but I don't foresee myself shaving off enough tenths to get reasonably into gold range. That said, I did collect a splendid gold for the last one - I think it featured the DeLorean @ Deep Forest Reverse, right? Anyway, on to try out the Honda NSX '17 @ Autopolis!

Done 2 more sessions at the weekend. It seems like sunday morning is my best time of the day to do TT's 😁

That should be safe for gold:

At the end i didn't enjoyed it as much as i excpected. And this time it's not the track i blame for this. For a serious sportscar the new NSX is just too heavy and too soft!

The more I play it the less I like it.. almost makes me want to go back to that bastard Mustang!

Nice progression you evil leaderboard friend...two tenths again.... epic bud, they all seem to suite you theses days except for the Delorean, you were just to slow there...., ( i'm going to bring this up all year ) 😂 😂

Neat picture btw.., don't know what it is but you always have very nice car shots!

With the NSX i kind of have the same, i did run a few laps this morning but had one high .7 a few .8's and a whole bunch of .9's but could not get a good session in because i'm already kind of done with it, my one week effords in timetrials are getting shorter and shorter these days, same with the 350R, a few sessions and i am totally done with it and no motivation to go back,

I think i can get lower on both if i hammer it like crazy but that ain't gonna happen, but i'll take two place 50 or 60 or so on the leaderboard 😁

And now i'm very curious what PD will throw at us thursday.... i thing roadcar again 😁

Ferrari 812 - Tokyo Expressway? 😂😭

I'm not like most of you. It takes work to get my numbers up (down?!) 😂

Found a little more time. Close to my optimals here. I was not going to go back to this but I had an unexpected 45 minutes yesterday afternoon to have a go and actually started to enjoy this one. I found a little nuance. For me it really loves a steady trail in and I really have to be perfect with my Rev match even just to coast easily. It's hard to carry that speed without the rear wanting to pass the front somewhere around the apex. I'm sure you all know this and I'm late to this party but anyway...

You guys are still really hard to catch and with a time like that I'm still in the teens on my leaderboard. Ridiculous. And awesome.
