If you want to try the Woodone Supra I can put mine on share for you later tonight. Personally I found the Yellowhat a bit quicker but others who are better drivers than me seem to do better in the Supra. I'm StirlingMoose on PSN.

Thanks mate that would be great I will add you when I come on later, I must say I can't believe how many nice people there is on GTPlanet it's like no other site, all you guys wanna help each other out and even sharing cars/tunes. So happy I'm back on GT5 after a long boring 2years without racing games! And so happy I got GTPlanet in my life woo hoo

Yes, I quite agree. The finest collection of rational, well-balanced, mature, easy going, agreeable people on the internet. I guess it reflects in part the quality of the game we play, again reflecting on the quality of the people who play it. Not forgetting that good moderation makes good forums.
Jesus, did I just say all that? :dopey:

Decied to delay travelling oop north until tomorrow due to the bad weather so managed another short session in the Woodone.

Improved by 0.01 almost straight away (1.45.009 for 13th), and was running consistent low 45's. Had one lap with a 1'17.5 T3, and was less than .3 behind Amo's ghost exiting the 90* right at the end of the back straight (I can gain quite a bit on him under braking there due to using more front wing)... held the gap through the chicane... and then got a bit over eager on the exit, caught the kerb and spun... would have been my dream lap :irked:

Then my wife came home and I had to cut the session, so that's me done with this one... really enjoyable TT, and I liked the fact the 2.10 update changed the car mid seasonal as it gave chance to try a few different cars, all enjoyable to drive.

I've put my Woodone is on share for anyone on my friends list.

Pretty much the same splits I am hitting at T3 Chris, my best save has a 1'17.4 versus amo's 1'17.0 and its shocking how much I lose on the last section alone :ouch:

On a better note, me and the missus have been at the hospital today to see our 2nd Granddaughter who was born at 11am this morning 👍 will give it a good day before i jump back on GT as I don't want to look like this combo is more important and Kel will nag me for sure! I'm not done... will try some more asap 👍
Cheers

Hear hear!

Does anyone mind if I add them as a friend to use the woodone supra? Only been playing for about 3 weeks.

I'm happy with my 1:29:811 on the Madrid TT
Currently #632 and fastest Mexican on this event :)
But on the other hand I barely got gold on Motegi xD

I noticed during the WRS that the last curb in the chicane sort of pulls you around the corner if you hit it in the last spot

Hey mate how does this car share thing work? Because it wasn't around when I first had the game so I don't have a clue lol

When online, click on profile --> click on the user you want to borrow from --> list of drivers and cars he has online will show up at the bottom right --> click on the car then click borrow. It will only work if the car is still online, once borrowed however you can use it forever without worrying about depriving others, aslo as long as its your current car he can take it off and you can still use it :)

Wow that's well good!!! Thanks for the info manu :-)

I think you must already be 'friends' with someone first before you can view their profile to borrow their car.
So ask for their 'GT5' name then send a friend request. Worked for me.
Pretty sure that's how it works.

I'm a true McLaren fan I follow the team 1st then the drivers :-) wish Lewis didn't leave us :-( sad times

Yeah those were good days, I hope Merc. is gonna give him a good car so he can challenge for wins. Don't want to see Vettel win again :(

I can't see merc doing that good but anything is possible with Lewis behind the wheel. Lets hope redbull don't have the speed this year :-)

Sorry but must disagree, as long as Mark Webber drives for them, Aussie Aussie Aussie!

And 'Nowcontrol', keep plugging away mate, 1:49.2 is a respectable time, it can only get better.

Nice one mate, I'm gonna have a crack at the Madrid one after I get off work and after the wife has watched all her soaps lol

👍

Since setting that time on motegi tho, i have been running it with traction control turned off now as well, but the closest i have been to that is a 1:49.547

:boggled:

Just keep pounding in them laps until it just feels natural without traction then you will beat your time ;-) and I'm sure you will feel better that you did it with one less aid then last time :-)

I have just now beaten the previous time with a 1:49.270 👍 and i know i can still better that, because i can get ahead of the ghost car but just keep fracking things up in sectors two or three.

Cool. I'm new to this sharing lark too so I just wanted to make sure it worked ok. If there's anything else you need just let me know. I've got 20M credits that I don't know what to do with at the moment so if you need anything from the main dealership I can get it and gift it to you. There's a 1M limit on gifting cars though so no Ferrari P4 330 I'm afraid.
