Yamauchi: We need to test it fully so that it becomes a perfect product. I consider it dangerous, to say the least, to release a game like this one without having subdued it to the toughest quality assurance tests. Also, since it's something so important, I fear of online features failing. That would be a fatal blow. I intend to introduce online features bit by bit.

If that doesn't tell people just how serious Kaz is about it being perfect, then they are hopeless. Key word is optimisium, something alot of people don't seem to have.

If he's such a perfectionist than how come none of the previous and the current GT games are perfect? I love all GT games but Kaz and his interviews expressing what he would "LIKE" to include are getting a bit old...

For all we know the current GT5P that we are playing might be the only thing they have... No one has seen any screenshots of GT5 or the damage supposedly being worked on.. Surely after 3,4,5 years of developing GT5 you would think they would have alot more to show that would have been finished or nearly finished by now..

Whats sad is that the majority of people seem to believe Kaz even though just about 50% of what he's said or promised in the last 10 years was a lie..Kaz is a borderline criminal along with Sony(stretching it a bit but what the heck..I'm frustrated)... How many people went out and bought a psp or a ps3 based on the promise from Kaz and Sony that these titles were coming out within a reasonable time after the launch of the two systems? That was false advertising!! I've spent over a 1000 bucks to play 2 games that to my knowledge dont exist atm...GT5P is a demo, not a game.

Shows how much you really know... Now go and play something else which is on the scene I heard a new Need For Speed Game is coming out next month which is right up impatient peoples street....
 
I don't really think you can call someone who has waited for a game such a GT4 mobile to come out for the past two or so years impatient... I mean you can call someone whatever you want but it just doesn't fit.

Did I ever mention the others being perfect? I remember saying how serious he was about getting this one perfect. If its not perfect to him, its not going anywhere. And could you exactly tell me how the others aren't perfect to you?

Or could it have been that some of the things he promised were simply not achieveable at the time thus is why its taking so long? He has clearly stated some of the things he wanted were not possible to do so how is it exactly a lie just because it didn't happened?

Have you not heard the expression "Expect the unexpected?" In my opinion, Why are you gonna get what is essentially the same thing on PS2 on a handheld system with a small screen?

I knew from the very beginning that GT4 Mobile was going to be delayed everyone could see it. And I myself bought a PSP for GT Mobile I even pre Ordered the damn thing in Toy R Us, But when i heard it would be delayed until GT5 was out i thought that would be the best idea. By that time I think PSP 2 Would be out if we were looking at 2011, Time will tell but I have never complained about the problem as everyone else has done because they simply cant wait because they are too Impatient You can baffle what you want about the games. But if you were a GT Fan who supports PD you would know yourself that good things come to those who wait. Kaz needs to forget about the whining so called Fans, And let him get up to what he's planning for the next 2 years. I'll be happily patiently waiting whilst I play other games and play the GT Series as i usually do everyday.

I cant answer that because it's up to the person who is passionate about the series. I'll say for myself I describe myself as a * GT Fan * as i have been playing the series since i was 7 Years Old, I own every GT Game i own loads of GT Merchandise. I'm very big on the series I turnt up to the Gran Turismo 5 UK Compeition and competeted against others across the country where you were entitled to win a Playstation 3 Bundle at the time and to particupate to go on further to the finals. I was a Beta Tester for Gran Turismo 4 Online. What can I say? This is just me of course other members can be alot bigger fans than me buit this is how i describe myself and how i show my dedication to the Games. Call me sad what ever I dont really care 👍

I don't now Japanese, but...
I bet he is talking about PRIVATE rooms, and how you can enter GT5P online with you're friends through HOME. Once race is finish go back home again.
 
Im thinking PD are waiting for the release of Home to do private races so they can integrate it into Home so they dont have to make thier own custom in game solution.

So my bet is that its after Home's release... which in thoery should come some like in November.

I doubt that possiblity... since long time ago I knew HOME will be associate with the online functionality of GT. (from the screenshot of GT5P menu which showed the HOME icon). And as you know, PD is under Sony.. so.. we gotta wait patiently for HOME to release.. :indiff:
 
yeah but then i got to exit the game,start home,search 4 friends and then start the game again and race then? this will take very long if you wanna do a quick private race...
 
Photo album right there and Profile in 2007...Home can be delay but The others would be in gt5 p when game came out..They removed them. PD What are you doing!!
 
“Profile” might be handy for searching/matching players within Home... And “Album” could be a place to stock screenshooting included in the new firmware... On the other hand they may have choose to drop the options and deliver them in the full game...
 
MAn these must be in gt5p...They removed them...When i saw them i said 'wow' but where are they now?..C'mon HOME is not everything.
Criterion doesn't need Home for Friend list
and other games..Why PD needs home for this simple function. Okay i'm gonna wait and shut my mouth for a while

Maybe because Polyphony’s franchise is a major allied for Sony and it’s long term strategy? The minimal online features we have at this time looks like a back-up solution, in my opinion. Would you have preferred PD to loose more time on a more complex but still transitional solution?:confused:
I'm still confident there will be a time we will be able to choose who,what,where,how and when we race each other online. All that flavored by Kazunori Know-How to make it yet another milestone in the Gaming Industry.👍

Imagine if this will occour in a future updates with callobration with Home.

And let's not forget they're making GT5 itself... Wouldn't want us getting our hands on such amazing features just yet, would they? It would make the actual game seem outdated before its even out!

Hope I'm wrong though, private races would be damn good right about now.
