Looks good so far, but IMO the lines look straight. They're not smooth, not curved enough. Once you start the colouring process it should look better I think.

You don't necessarily need color. This piece of work posted by IR looks awesome with no color, just the lines.

But with colour it would look grood and awesomes. ;)
 
It's all a matter of taste. I like that particular drawing without coloring.

Select the brush tool, select your desired thickness for the brush, then click on paths on the layers window, click work path and then select stroke path.

when you want a bold line..
after you select the line tool..
up the top on the menu choose the thickness of the line make it about "4px" for the thick

Try using a good base colour, and darken the areas around it a little for the shades.

Well, you could give the car a grey-ish colour, and use dark tones of the same colour and lighter tones and do the shading. If not, change the car colour itself. Make it blue, or red, or any other colour.

He should use a very light tan color. A VERY light tan. Then a daker grey, SLIGHTLY darker. 👍
 
Holy hell now we have 3 people vectoring the same Mazda RX8! :p
Ask donbenni to use this picture for the next GTP Vector comp then. :p Haha!

i should have used a bigger picture... but that was the biggest one i could find..

and coz i love chasers as well.. i decided to try and vector is no matter how big the pic was
