Technically, it wasn't a vector. I used Flash MX.

It took hours. And instead of making a cool vector, find your spacebar. Shouldn't take long. ;)

Haholy cow, Mr E, very nice. Still gotta work on making better anti-aliased lines, unless its just the program that does that.

I'll do them tomorrow. Right now I wanna work on the aliasing and the front wheel well (the right side is all messed up.)

AltF8: That looks beautiful, just do the wheels and those lights and I'm sure it'll look better. Oh, and how about the shadows under the car? ;)

Some lines look abit jagged IMO... might just be me.

Hey that is not like Cell Shading  ?? i guess not if so does someone have a tutorial where a can learn how to do those

Ok, I touched it up and removed the lines from the wheels (which improved them IMO). Finally finished...
that looks real... great work!

Yeah, I'm using Photoshop (all I've got), and the pen tool kicks my ass. So, I do it other ways, which makes it look that way. :(

Forgot about the shadow. ;)

Okay, **** me sideways... that RX8 is just insane!

Yeah looks nice mister E 👍 Gradients add realism to the work, which looks good with your stuff but i wouldn't use them. But i guess that's just everyones own style :) The wheels look sweet, you obviously spent a lot of time creating a most excellent piece of art 👍

Currently working on...:

Yeah, I know the back wheels are screwed up. :grumpy:

Haven't started work yet, will commence soon. :)
Fark me through the eyeball, that is one SWEET Rex!

Might post a couple of my vectors, minus the wheels.

w00t! I've ditched that Bugatti vector since the line work was offically screwed up. 👍
Here's something new, and this is my first TRUE SVG (Scaleable Vector Graphics).

The quality of the picture is pretty bad, it looks very smooth in Illustrator and I'm afraid when I post the finished version of it it's gonna look like crap... any ideas on how to get a good pic of it? (Using Illustrator).

That's just being lazy (not that i can talk), but you've gotta do the wheels.

Shant, looking sweet :)

I've actually asked him why he won't do the wheels, and he gave me weird answers. :odd: "I don't like it, looks too real", something something. :odd:

Sorry Jon. :p

Thanks, and I've just noticed that the front right light looks a bit weird. :odd:

Hell no... I'm finding the perfect pic. My Computer Animation teacher is gonna put my vectors in a tech drawing competition. I still don't know what car to do. I want an extremely high res picture so I can make it as detailed as possible, and I can print it out huge (like poster size.)

Any recomendations would be helpful. Also, I want a recognizeable car, so they can at least tell what it is. Half the people in my school didn't know what the Skyline or RX-8 were.

They must have returned to Earth when Mars was close a few months back...

Hmm... you should visit http://www.highresautoimages.com for some beautiful high-res images. 👍
Damn I wished I could print out my vectors and keep them in my room.. poster size! *wish* So far I've printed them on A4 paper. :p

EDIT : Visit here too http://www.dieselstation.com

Ideas for your vector:

Export the image at double the resolution, and then bring them down to size in photoshop, it usually anti-aliases well. I haven't tried that yet with mine because I'm too lazy.
