Im really struggling to see why we have had to wait so long and not to even have 30 different tracks. Still, im sure when i have it it wont matter.

I think the list is great to be honest. It's just amazing that they have added the Top Gear Test Track. The only track I really wish they had added would be Spa.

No, it's not really Amazing, because its just 2 strips of tarmac in a plain flat field....And where's the Stig Challenge?

You should probably find some synonyms for amazing, you dont wanna use powerful words on menial subjects, what happens when they recreate a 50km German rally stage with every bush and every surface change, youll have used up AMAZING on a flat airfield...

@lumnis its more like 3 tracks with time...Nurb(and SOME variations) de la Sarthe (ONE variation) and Toscana...

Nurb HSR Suzuka Chamonix Monza Eiger Sarthe SSr7= 8 tracks with weather...

Can anyone list all the tracks that were in GT4 that aren't in GT5?

Off the top of my head... Infineon, Apricot Hill, Midfield, El Capitan, New York, Seattle, Test Course... I know I'm missing some.

All I can say is No E30 M3......Im not happy.....

I am with you man... maybe we should pitch in and send a beat up E30 to PD's office building ... they would surely understand ...

PS what a stupid idea: if i could afford to buy such a car in real life, i would keep it for myself and track it... skip all this GT5 non-sense delay :D

I'm not disappointed at all, i think LeMans and Nordsleife are enough for me.

Im not picking on you or anything but really, you are going to just race those two tracks really? LeMans is pretty boring to race on unless you have a top speed of 230 . And this is pertaining to all the people that saying the same for you. There are sooo many real world tracks that could've been added that is better than LeMans. And they dont even have the bugatti circuit for LeMans. Pretty lame i think

Citta Di Aria
Costa di Amalfi
Seoul
George V
Opera Paris
Grand Canyon
HONG KONG
Twin Ring Motegi
Tsukuba Wet
Ice Arena(not in list but seen intrailer)
Swiss Alps
Tahiti Maze
Las Vegas Drag Strip
Gymkhana course
Motorland
Fuji 80's\90's....

Plenty of tracks to keep me occupied. Slightly disappointed there isn't Motegi as i've falllen in love with this track since playing Forza.

Still I only have one thing to say when it comes to car/track lists and that is DLC. Many developers/publishers see DLC as a way of making more money so why is it going to be any different with GT5.

I don't know about you lot but I would pay £10 for Spa alone.

In fairness, Swiss Alps - which I believe is fictional - is probably a bit pointless to PD now they have a real-world location beneath the Nordwand.

Thoroughly dissapointed... both just in overall number of tracks, number of real world tracks, and great tracks that I don't know why didn't make it... Citti di Aria, Seoul and Paris were some of my favorites and I was really looking forward to driving them in GT5 quality even if they weren't weather or night/day tracks...

Kaz said they were aming at making the dedicated GT fanbase happy? WTF? What did they think we wanted? LESS stuff with some frills scatered around?

Because it's KY who has said he doens't like DLC and it's KY who, as we have had driven into us around here over the years, is an artist and about doing it right, not about money.

But my personal feeling is I hate what DLC has become which is a money grab... a way to realease a half way done product and charge to make it full.

After 6 years in development I can't help but feel what we are seeing is a half way done product... just the way features are so hit or miss (night, weather, damage) and the lack of content compared to the previous iteration... I would view paid DLC at this point as just ripping us off no better than MW2 map packs.

Honestly it feels like they are using GT5 as a teaser sort of GT6P... although I am reserved about even hoping GT6 truly fills out the missing areas.

I am not really that surprised. However is GT6 isn't this many cars and if they all aren't Premiums, and if they don't have at least double the tracks, I think the GT series is going to meet it's end. I mean the only thing they have to do now for GT6 is create more content.

I was hoping for at least another 5 or 6 fantasy courses.

What happened to the Stelvio Pass rumour?
And surely it's not difficult to render the GT4 tracks in to high res for GT5 seeing as the layout and data is already there, and it's just a case of textures?

And why not rain and night on all tracks?
Again, surely the modelling data is there to be transfered across to the other tracks?

Citta Di Aria is in.

Where did you see that ??

No Paris George V Track from GT4 ??
No Opera?? That track is as good as the London Track !
Where's Grindelwald?? That's an EPIC track not be be left out...
And the Fast El Capitan??!! where is it?
and what about Seattle??
Midfield and Apricot??
The GrandCanyon Rally??
And New York??
Hong Kong ??
Tahiti Maze?
Citta D'Aria??
Costa D'Amalfi??
and Pikes Peak?
The Old Rome Circuit in GT2 ??

There must be a continuation to this list ...

Exactly right because the foundations have been laid with GT5. I know some expected more from GT5 but im personally very happy because I realise how time consuming it must of been to start from scratch. However like you say with GT6 they can continue adding content to the existing foundations.

I can’t believe that the track list is complete. Its so week I can’t understand that they would grab the NASCAR license and not have all the tracks for the upcoming season. What’s with such a small dirt n snow list? Where Is Grand Canyon? They should have grabbed every track from the 4 earlier GT series and start from there. None of this makes sense, Kaz is a racer. What good is having a million cars and only one track to drive on? Wouldn’t you rather have a million tracks and only one car to choose from?

Sounds like people are going to be pretty busy trying to replicate omitted GT4 tracks with the new track editor.

I think in GT5 they have focused too much about new features: 3D (which many of use aren't gonna use), Head-tracking (the same), Course Creator, weather and time changing (the nicer ones :)), online playing, damage (I sincerely don't care about it)...

I'm with the guy that said GT2 > GT1. GT6 will be a lot better than GT5. I'd say they are going to focus about making GT6 bigger in cars and tracks instead of new features (I can't think about what else they could add...).

And after all, the track and car list aren't that bad. We have tons of funny hours waiting for us, enough to wait until GT6 comes, probably with more circuits and cars than ever (Porsche...).

Ivor they haven't finished the foundations yet.

Yeah I would rather have GT6 included every cars in Premium and all the track since GT1 remodeled plus whatever new things PD/Kaz see fit...

I wouldn't like to have to pay for DLC to customize GT5 the way it should have been delivered in the first place... In such Case, GT6 better be the game of the century and we will expect GT6 to be industry breakthrough...

So which is it??

We sometimes don't see eye to eye... but yep, I'm with you here 👍

Read 'em and weep, boys (GT4 Track List)

While I'm happy to see some go (like Seoul, Hong Kong), there is an absolutely huge list of tracks I'm going to miss. Apricot, Midfield, Citta, Seattle, Infineon, El Cappy. I even grew to like Grand Canyon. Also; where will be doing our Machine Tests, like 400/1000 Meters, or Top Speed? I understand rallying will rely on the random course generator, and that's cool in itself (and the GameStop video showed me the courses will actually be quite flowing).

I can only assume DLC will be available over time; look at LBP and MNR. This is a first-party game, Sony will want it fresh for a long time, and I don't mind paying money for more "levels".

My faviorites are there so i'm happy :)

I'm with you. Money spent on DLC for GT5 is probably still going to be better value for money than spending it on other stuff would be.

All the tracks sound great but like said previously, why not add snow/rain to all the tracks? Do they really need 30 versions of the skyline/sti/rx7 but only a few tracks with rain? Either way, I'm super excited to have it less than 2 weeks away.

Motegi (3 layouts)?
Infenion (2 layouts)?

Many nice tracks there, but I must admit I thought some other tracks would make it in the game. (Still have a feeling this isnt complete list) Where are the rally tracks....?
