Oh snap Megatron grew a lobster claw? It's Gangsta Crizzab! 45th and Broadway, y'already know what it is.

Awwww Snap!

Thats what I initially thought as well but then how can we interpret the movie title

revenge of the fallen has had 2 main speculations about the story line

1. megatron is restored (as galvatron if michael bay doesn't want to cause a riot) and he is seen as the "fallen"

2. they use the fallen transformer and follow the story of him betraying primus and then being trapped till now.

Guess the way things are going its going to be both galvatron and the fallen taking revenge.

or to really throw us off jazz is the fallen and takes his revenge lol

They confirmed "the Fallen" was a seperate character so its a strong possibility that he is the one shown there and thus the story for the most part is based around him, but maybe it could be Megatron. Jazz as the fallen? That would be something else, lol.

Hey everyone, a new trailer for the game has already been released:

And some funnies just for the lulz:

While We're Talking About Mike Bay...

There has been a bit of a hubbub today on the fake_michael_bay twitter page. Hes not saying much about what happened, but apparently he was contacted by the Twitter admins for Copyright Infringement. Didn't close the page, but looks like they're watching it.

Or Mike Bay is watching it. BOOM!

Some new updates. Images of "the fallen" toy have leaked and it matches with the poster by the looks of it.

But what is with some of these transformers having giant metal "appendages". Have a search for the leaked jetfire toy.

To Update the Update on Fake Mike Bay:

Apparently it was his legal team that contacted Twitter, but all they wanted was the picture down. Hmmm. Still, its one of my favorite Twitter feeds to watch...

(Cobra Commander is a close second)

I imagine it would be for the purposes of differentiation. I'm not sure which side Jetfire aligns himself with, but I've heard one of them defects to the Autobots, and it could well be Jetfire. If that's the case, the giant metal appendages may have been put in place so that audiences can tell which ones are Autobots and which ones are Decepticons. In turn, that means we're likely to see them up close, and probably in close-quarters with the Autobots. In the first film, we only really see Megatron, Frenzy and to a lesser extent, Barricade and Scorponok. All of them have really distinctive shapes - Megatron never bothered to adopt an alternate form that originated from earth, Frenzy was tiny and Scorponok was simply animalistic - except for Barricade, who was a lot like the Autobots. If the production designers and ILM are adding appendages like that tail on the Fallen and Megatron's lobster-like claw, and they're doing it to all the villains, then it's probable we're going to see them in close-quarters combat with the Autobots, and the appendages are designed so that we can tell which side is which. After all, in the audio commentary of the first film, Bay mentioned he wanted more close-ups of the Transformers, and in the teaser we can clearly see two Transformers assaulting each other.

The Fallen is kind of odd looking. I wonder what it transforms into?

In the comics it transformed into some sort of tank.

So it looks like we officially know what he will look like.

I'm not digging "The Fallen" toy. It does look like it would transform into some sort of insect judging by the colors. I hope that isn't a final production shot.

I was hoping that The Fallen would look more like its comic incarnation:

I'd ignore the colours. The toys always are painted different and look a little different. eg. look at the constructicon. I'd say in all likelyhood it would be some kind of plane/missile type shape and he will stay in his protoform, not bothering to take on the shape of an earth machine (like megatron).

Do you race?
Sorry kind of felt like we were talking about 2 different things. If you look at both the jetfire and fallen toy both have giant penis'. Were we on the same page?

PARAGON GT
you will be dissapointed about devastator then as well. Bay has mentioned that he doesn't want the bots to look boxy like they do in the cartoon/comics. He wants them to have a more organic shape.

Yeah, why don't we just go way organic and make Unicron a giant amoeba.

No, we weren't. I wasn't talking about phallic imagery within the film, but rather ILM adding more animalistic qualities to the robots given that there are said to be forty in the film, and they need to give the audience an easy way to distinguish them. If the Fallen toy reminds me of anything, it's actually the Abaddon monster in Final Fantasy VIII, which alternated between a squatting and erect form.

Hmmm, I said erect. Thank you for mentioning that both the Fallen and Jetfire (got a link to the image, by any chance?) look like they have all their man-bits in place. Because now that's all I'm going to be mentioning ...

Yeah, why don't we just go way organic and make Unicron a giant amoeba.

"He floats through space with no real direction. Matastisizing various mineral particulates into food energy. The only way to kill him is to damage his nucleus! osmosis, osmosis, osmosis, doesn't the word bring chills to your spine? And coming soon to a theater near you!"

Jetfire is an SR-71 'Blackbird', isn't he? If so, that appendage could well form part of the fuselage of his alternate mode (though it does look a little small).

Yep that's right. Just hope it doesn't look as bad in the movie.

Also note that jetfire is boxed as a decepticon when there is word he is an autobot.

In almost every TF continuety he is in, He starts out a decepticon then defects to the Autobots.

Uh, the toys are always constricted by physics and the need for simplicity. I gave my brother a little Bumblebee toy as a joke for Christmas the year the first film came out, and it looked nothing like the final version in the film.

On a serious note, I agree about them having animal like characteristics so those "appendages" could be something like Insect abdomen. On a less serious note:

Can't get any more organic then that, can you?

That, sir, is a thorax.

Otherwise, We'd have to sue the Hornets for public indecency.

lol, true. Just thought I'd poke fun at select sentences in that post.

New toys yes. Cheap plastic, about four moving parts, etc.

Anyone who had the original toys can tell you that it took like a half hour to make those things transform at first. But once you had it down your imagination allowed you to believe that it was just as fast as the cartoon (you even made the noise). The toys today are nowhere near as cool as the originals. I mean, my Optimus had the trailer, which became the Combat Deck, had spring loaded missile launchers, and came with Roller who could be spring launched into action.

The only toy I know of that was cooler was Skeletor's Snake Mountain base that my friend had.

And my brother had Astrotrain, which had so many tiny parts that moved to distinguish it between a train and a space shutle that it was way too complex.

Technically, the Master piece figures from Takara are pretty much just like the old toys. You ever seen Starscream?

I'd like for them to make new toys based on the movie. With about 1000 steps to transform, taking days....

Nope, I just looked at the G1 Classics line one day and about laughed my head off. I had McDonald's Happy Meal wannabe toys that were more complex.

That actually would be pretty cool.

Of course then it woudl be like those Gundam (is it Gundam?) models where people are say stupid crap like, "Level 5 Whatchamacallit, 3 days." But now it will be, "Megatron, Transformed in 2 days."

They had a $200+ Bumblebee that did that for the first movie, a friend of mine picked one up at Toys R Us with his discount. I've never gotten to "play" with it (for good reason), but I'll be damned if it isn't crazy cool.

I have the 20th anniversary Prime which is similar, if not identicle, to the one listed above. Granted, it didn't come with the trailer, but I can live with out it. I think I paid something like 40 for it. Its pretty impressive. Not to dificult to transform. Its mostly a desk piece for me. Prime is Huge. Probably between 12 and 18 inches tall.

Roller isn't shown in the listing above. I believe that is one of the cars from the alternators line that is being shown in the trailer. I believe its Jazz judging by the car. (I may be wrong)
