- Yes ---> Use AT
- No ---> Use MT

I'm almost 14 but AT reqquires less concentration and I have a short attention spa...
... Oh sorry I drifted off for a moment!

And anyway I will probably end up using Mt sooner or later.

I'll just practice then but for the moment if there is an important race I may not use it as I am less confident using MT.

downshifting my friend. Automatics have this nasty habit of not being in the right gear when turning. A manual gives you more control of where and when you shift your gears. Doesn't mean it is faster, it all depends on the driver. That is what it has always boiled down too

yeah but as i said i dont use auto i jsut wanted u to know ( if u didnt) but i use auto sometime in high powered drifting cars cause they oversteer so muich that i dotn know when to change gear

All right, Turbo II, it's time to drop the subject. MTX may be faster for you, but that doesn't mean it is for everybody. No sense getting mad just because someone disagrees with you.

Besides, one of your fellow Dutchmen drives ATX, and can hand almost anybody their butt on track. Look around for times posted by Made In Holland.

Just compare two identical cars!
2003 BMW 318Ci MT 143hp 9,3sec (0-60) 218kmh
2003 BMW 318Ci AT 143hp 10,2sec (0-60) 214kmh

So... which car (transmission) is faster huh??
NOT the AT a you can see!!

Wow. You sure showed us. Once again... there are at least two GTPlaneteers that are very fast and very hard to beat that drive auto.

And if you think that the car's performance (acceleration) is the only, even the most important, factor in winning, you don't understand racing.

I guess if you're talking about drag racing you may be correct. But who cares about drag racing? And it's not even in GT3.

I wanted to drop it but our friend milefile don't want to drop it!!
No, it's not only about accelerating, but if the top gear driver tests a 318Ci MT and a 318Ci AT (or any other car) I put my money on the 318Ci MT!!!
But if you believe that the AT car wins... too bad for you!!
