when i heard the tire sound from the nascar aceleration out of the pits, i was stuned to hear a realy life like sound.. not the sound they have had in the gt5p . anyone else heard that..
 
yes , but polyphony does not use in game sound in their videos....
 
Because they do it with every GT game.
 
But the trailer was ingame... You mean the sounds were not?

I want better sounds in the game but not only was the sound completely off in the trailer (revs didnt fit, the tire sound was also quite out of sync), but the sounds itself were wrong too. NASCARs sound completely different and the 787B was nothing like the real one. That tire squeal in the pit scene was also everything else than realistic.

EDIT: The trailer wasnt in-game, it was realtime, theres a huge difference.

When a NASCAR goes out of the pits you dont really hear the tires, the engine reving up is too loud, its more like *bwuuooohhhmmmbombombombom*. :lol:
 
now you are alitle stupid.. the tire sound was quite god . from what i have heard from pd before. tire sound in the gt5p sucks big time
 
Even if i am a little stupid (like your grammar), a NASCAR going out of the pit sounds different, not my fault. :lol:

I freaking hope GT5 will sound like this... and this is only a youtube video in stereo!!!! Then we got GT5Prologue, sounds weak even in 7.1

And im from Germany and never studied English in school, but thats a different topic. lol

@Nox: The sorround sound from GT5 is actually quite good (if you have a proper system) the problems are more the basic engine sounds. But we had enough threads about that issue. ;)

Sorry, I have to agree with G.T. Ace here. You're right that the sounds in the trailer are WAY better than in GT5P. But, a NASCAR sounds nothing like that leaving the pits.

Trust me, I'm from America. Specifically, Florida :lol: Hell, I drive by Daytona International Speedway to go to everyday things.
 
i have always hated the tire sounds when going around corners.. so i was happy when i heard the Trailer. maby there is hope for improved tire sounds
 
I think GT5p's sound relies heavily on the subwoofer to make up for the well... hairdryer sound that really hasn't seemed to change.

I noticed this when I finally got my subwoofer going.. engine sounds seem to work out better..

but yeah..

the tire noise/sounds in general still sound a bit artificial, but good enough.
 
In the latest gameplay trailer of the audi r8 on La Sarthe on youtube, the tires also don't sound like they do in the Prologue. So I think they make everything better in the full game, so we won't be dissappointed. Better graphics, gameplay and engine/tire sound.:sly:
 
I think that's the top gear track you're talking about, since La sarthe doesn't have runway lights on the road.
 
Yep, R10 all right. I just hope that isn't the only livery available in GT5. :nervous:
 
No, I meant this one. It´s the audi R8 on the La Sarthe circuit. Is it just me, or do the tires sound else than in the prologue?

To me it sounds completely different and a lot better than GT5P's current skidding sound, so hopefully that means they've really improved it for GT5.
 
I didn't really hear any tire screeching. Then again my speakers suck.
 
yes you might be right, the sounds from the psp sound some what different . but from my pc speakers i cant be sure.


maby they only changed it for the psp , and kept the sounds from gt5p on gt5
