I had money on Milan winning but you can't argue with 3 goals in 6 minutes. Well Done 'pool.

I had to turn off post-match because the interviewer kept asking "Did you believe at half time..." to everyone. 👎
 
I didn't see that coming. I'm still in shock, congratulations to Liverpool, you've brought the trophy back to England. Damn, thats the second time this year I've been cheering for Liverpool. Also Gerrard pretty much said before the match wheather he'd stay or not depended on them winning, and after he said it looked good when asked if he'd stay, so looking good for Liverpool on that one as well.

What was all that about?

Is the goalie not supposed to stay on his line, or even stay anywhere near it, until the penalty is taken? His jumping about antics were hilarious tho'. Wonder where he got that idea from....?
 
Milan were so dominant in the first half they had pretty much won, but they came out in the secnod half with a kind of, we've already won we just have to be here attitude, and wham Liverppol are level. Don't underestimate the spirit of the other club or things like that will happen.

São Paulo is playing tonight versus Palmeiras for the Libertadores cup. We just need a draw to go to quarter finals. 👍

I find that absolutly pathetic. I say get rid of the lowest club and switch them for L'pool. How can you not be aloud to defend your title?

I dissagree, at the start of the season everyone knew the top 4 go in next season, that shouldn't be changed now. Besides Liverpool have cost Everton a chance to go into the champions league before through their fans.
 
Did I not hear earlier tonight a rumour that UEFA have plans to put Liverpool straight into the group stage of next seasons champions league?
 
Only a rumour, nothings been decided upon. The English FA are going to discuss the situation with UEFA and see if they can get a fith spot for Liverpool.
 
All I can say, after watching the match and drinking like b@astard too is.. OMFG... John Paul II must now be a saint, coz they were waiting for a miracle before they could canonize him... well, how much more of a miracle do they want???

What an amazing game. It just goes to show - if the soccer gods want a result, it will happen. How much would you bet on Shevchenko missing pointblank with the keeper on the ground from 3 yards out? And then missing his penalty too?

Quite incredible how pool came back. Was kaka even on the field in the second half, everybody just went to sleep!

Liverpool will definitely be in next season. Of that there can be no doubt.
