Arsenal were hugely impressive last night and their great run continues, I thought Celtic were good and I thought the red was deserved but Neymar was being Neymar, Chelsea were good as well but they were up against a weak team...

As for tonight, well City-Bayern could be a cracker and United have a tough game away to Shakthar so id be happy with a point despite everyone saying we need a win, a point would be a good result and it would mean that we stay top of the group..
Yeah, I'd settle for a point too. Shakhtar are a really good team and with our form recently...

Anyway, I really want to watch both the United game and the City game, I may livestream the City game and watch the other on TV, ultimate multitasking

Well my mum wants to watch the City game so I think we'll watch both and do a bit of channel hopping..

The next 2 games are so critical for us trying to get into the Europa, I really can't see us making the CL, however.

No Rooney at all tonight as he is unwell, which is a big blow but RVP is starting

United XI...De Gea, Rafael, Vidic, Smalling, Evra, Carrick, Fellaini, Cleverly, Valencia, Welbeck, Van Persie

At least it's a stronger defence than the last couple of games.

United 1-0 up through Welbeck, but Shakthar the better team so far and look dangerous on the attack..

City 1-0 down but I don't know who scored..

^^ Ribery scored the first. Muller and Robben are on the score sheet too, 3-0 to Munich!

Happy with a point, wasn't a great performance, but we are still top of the group with a double header against Sociedad to come next...

I'm OK with a point even though the goal was due to ANOTHER defensive error. Bring on Sociedad.

Didn't watch all the City match but I saw Robbens goal, Bayern just took them apart, 2 shots on target for City but Bayern had 13!!!!!!!!:dunce::O

Also ive been reading on Twitter that Rooney picked up a minor shin injury in training, apparently theres a big lump on there that's been swelling and Moyes left it till the last possible minute to decide to leave him out, no idea if he'll be fit for Saturday...

Man, my bet was lost wen Galats scored straight after Juvs. United just couldnt push for a 2nd either.

Not surprised by the City result. We were outclassed but that's why they are European champions. Still 2nd in the group so not all bad

Some cracking goals by Munich, and some defensive blunders by Utd. Lucky you boys have such easy groups and the other two teams should be easy beats.

Does he need another band for that?

Oh yeah 1-1 was an entirely fair result. The factors in combination with the game definitely made it so.

So we are back to action this week...

It really is do or die for the bhoys. We NEED to beat Ajax and it will be a tall order.

United should beat Sociedad this week, I say should, im not sure after the Southampton result!...

Hope we beat Dortmund today, should all but guarantee qualification.

Milan apparently ruining the pitch (on the wings)vs Barca just like they did when we played them, Surely Uefa has got to do something.

Looking forward to the games tonight, I think both best games this week are on tonight, Arsenal v Dortmund and Milan v Barca, ill watch the Arsenal game but ill turn over every now and then to see what Chelsea and Celtic are doing...and the Milan game...so im watching four games tonight!

You can always livestream a simulcast . I'll probably have 2 games set up on my laptop (streaming) and the other 2 on the TV.

That was really dissapointing, shout out to the home fans for being absolutely terrible, gods sake some of them really don't deserve to be at the stadium.

We were so slow on the attack, and at times we were a calamity at the back. Result probably deserved for Dortmund, though they weren't exactly impressive either.
Oh well, onwards and upwards to the Premier League :p

Late on, ITV commies called BVB's counter-attack goal a "sucker punch". English commentators showing their lack of class once again. :ouch:

Better than the BBC's proof-readers:
Fernando Torres marks his 100th Chelsea start with both goals in an impressive 3-0 win at Schalke to go top of Group E.
Was one of them so good it counted twice?

Good result for Celtic.

Possession seems to mean naff all today. Celtic won with 30%, Chelsea with 40% and so did Dortmund. Barcelona had over 70% but could only manage a draw. Maybe it would make more sense to have your team use the possession better rather than relying on passing it about to make the other team wear themselves out chasing.
