Today it was very clear that Ajax really needs a new striker. All those missed chances. Should have been 4-0 in the first half.

Next match should be fun.

Hey, I can say the same about Celtic. Should have been 5-4 in first half i guess.

Nah, first half was for Ajax. Second half was more equal. But still, both teams suck butt.

And the fact that Barca didn't win in Milan doesn't help the race for second place.. for Celtic or Ajax.

We had same shots on goal and on target. and yeah. Its good the 'group of death' only has one awesome team. Could make for an interesting finish.

Hopefully we won't have 5 first team players out for the mext match.

Unless Ajax can build some confidence (goals!!!!) in the next couple of league matches, the game in Amsterdam should be filled with missed chances again.

I think that both Ajax and Celtic are more similar than we think!

Man City are on now away to CSKA Moscow, nil nil so far fifteen minutes gone and they are playing on a pitch which has just been freshly spray-painted green...

Its 1-2 to City at half time, Moscow scored first but City hit back with two Aguero goals just before the break...

If only we can play like that in the BPL. That was much better than we've been playing the whole of this season. I don't know if it's the change of players or the opponents but we are playing much better football.

It's still only Real Sociadad, at home, whilst only being separated by a 69th second own goal. Need a couple of 4-0 dominant wins to get our taste for it back.

True, if we can do that against Stoke at the weekend and then Norwich in the league cup then our team will have more confidence and the old United should be back

Good performance last night, but we should've won it 4-0 and we let Sociedad back in the match, but apart from that it was a solid team performance and we are in control of the group and a win away to Sociedad should seal qualification..

...also did anyone see Ibrahimovic's third goal out of the four he scored last night!, holy cow what a strike!!!!:drool:

Zlatan is from another planet it seems. It's Messi and Ronaldo in a fighters body. All the brilliant actions, without the crying and diving.

He can be inconsistent, but when he's on form he is the best player on the planet. Bar none.

I'd say Iniesta is better than anyone to be frank.

Ibra's goal yesterday was special, he is one of the best in the world sometimes. Also did anyone see the Benfica game yesterday? The officials at that game need sacking. Football is not meant to be played in a swimming pool.

Each time they fell I thought they were drowning or something

Why wouldn't you try, though...? :)

Vidal's fall to try and win the pen was so epic. What did he hit, a speed hump? Surely not.

My friend was desperate for the game to be called off as he bet on Benfica to win.

So Champions League tonight and tomorrow then, both Manchester clubs are on later and its Arsenal, Chelsea and Celtic on tomorrow

Hope for a good match.

Heard Chicharito and Rooney starts on top, and Kagawa gets a start aswell. :)

Manchester United XI: De Gea; Smalling, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra; Valencia, Fellaini, Giggs, Kagawa; Rooney, Hernandez.

Interesting to see no RvP. According to MUTV, we're playing a 4-4-2 with Rooney playing just off Chicharito

Well well... Chicharito missed a chance even my mate Malcolm would have scored - and in 3 years of five-a-side football, he never scored a single goal that wasn't in his own net - to this day his goal tally is -2

edit:

Justice is done... an absolutely shameful dive by Ashley Young for the Man Utd penalty... Young is a cheat, plain and simple.

I don't care if he is a Man Utd player or not, Young cheats and I don't want anything to do with him.

I don't want Young transferred. Or released.

I want him sent to the office and whole-heartedly sacked.
