The mobile phone going of was also hilarious.
He just took it out of his pocket and looked at it :)

I sure did hope Simon Cowell would crash and burn to death.
They should have put him in the caparo instead of the lacetti, would be really fun to watch.
I really don't like that man's attitude.

Yes, I would like to take the time to point out.

Simon is an arse.

and on another note, good episode 👍

I like Simon Cowell. Good for him getting on top. His attitude/tv personality is an act, I dont think he's really that bad if you were to know him as a friend.

He still sounds quite opinionated though - not all an act. But yeah, I agree he is probably a nice guy in person.

Why do they have those red flowers on their jackets?

Got it thanks 👍!

Oh and Simon Cowell is, how is it that you Brits say, a spanner.

Good episode last night, I throughly enjoyed it and although I don't like Simon CowellI thought the interview was good, Jeremy just made him appear...well..erm..stupid really.

The race through London was awesome too, Stig was highly amusing even though he did nothing.

How do they make the stig so funny without any lines?

pretty much eveyrthing invloving him in that london part was funny. When they wheeled himdown the street, the mobile phone, the hami newspaper etc.

Another awesome episode. After the polar episode and then cycling across London, Hammond seems to be quite the athlete.

Woooo Stig used the same bus stop as I do! I go over the Kew bridge every day.

That's just down the road from me, where do you live?

I love it how they make Stig look and act like he is totally from another planet, its just the way he moves and looks unsatisfied at things! brilliant

When the mobile went off with the Eastenders theme tune! and when he stopped at the edge of the escalator because he didn't know what it was!.....reading the news paper, all of the stigs bit was great.

Clarkson commenting on him traveling in a big red car and and the underground car... Oyster card for people with no concept of money!

Hammond getting pissed with the buses and traffic lights!..... oh theres the sound of a human skull getting crushed by a buses pirelli!

Simon Cowell is just so bloody annoying, but im sure he always acts like that on TV...... His is in a way like Clarskon's nemeisis... they are so similar, I love the way he said Clarskson on the X-factor panel would be funnier than him doing it!

That Caparo car.. jesus its insane, the pan shot from the one lowly ambulance to an entire emergency services fleet + helicopter had me in stitches! ... Enough people to deal with a small plane crash!..... Clarkson wearing a flame proof suit to make his organs easier to collect at the end!!!!!

Clarksons right... the fields of the UK are going to be littered with burnt and broken footballers... Grimsby for the championship!

Robin

 So...

Caprio = worthless

Simon Cow definitely wins one award... The biggest Fing A hole ever.

As far as I got so far.

edit: The Rest was rubbish.

Oh man, was that a Jean Charles de Menezes joke?

Hmmm, maybe a bit too edgy...
Yes, it was. Sneaked it in there, but I noticed it too :sly:

Blame my dad for his watching of soaps, but it was a Coronation Street ringtone. lol :dopey:

Yay for the bike! Anyone know how many miles the route was, and how long it took them? I don't recall them saying.

The Stig's bits were pure silent comedy.

And, "I'd rather be in that than Kiera Knightley"

That's just down the road from me, where do you live?

I live in Hayes, thats a little while from there but I get a lift to Kew bridge sometimes and catch the 65 there. Quite a nice area on the Richmond side if you forget the traffic.

I have a Specialized mountain bike and they seriously rule! It was good that the bike won, Hammond rarely wins anything and it does prove that its most effective in rush hour London although Clarkson said it broke the whole ethos of Top Gear

I can't believe Clarkson said that Kiera Knightley statement, people get sued for that kind stuff, bit daring even for TG... and that sneaky Menezes joke...

Yeah now I remember it was Coronation Street... my bad... was comedy with the Stig just staring at it!

Hahaha... I also remember the AWARD WINNING TOP GEAR bit...... factual programme, they havent had a fact on it for 5 years!

Oliver is coming the the UK guys!!! lol

and since Jermemy knows when it will be arriving, I'm expecting him to do something when it arrives and film it for Top Gear.

When I saw that episode I was sure that Hammond would bring it back, its quite a neat car and the little story thing they did with the music was brilliant!

You can just tell Clarksons gonna have it off loaded on a crane and the cable will suddenly snap and it will smash either into the dock wall or sink into the sea!

Breaking Hammonds heart!.....

A few notes:

- The Aston Roadster is sex on wheels, and with the new N24 version about to drop, I think I'm in need of yet-another Aston test...

- The Caparo is still an amazing car, but I think I was as shocked as everyone else when you saw how difficult it was to drive. I love the purple color though on the test car, my first car was purple.

- The bit between Simon and Jeremy was quite funny actually, the two titans of British TV (IMO). There was certainly an ego clash, really a difference of time and space between the two... Nevertheless, quite funny indeed.

- Oh, and the London Race? BIKE FTW! But even then, you don't need a $3000 USD bike (look it up kids) to do well... My $250 former race-bike would have been fine as well. I did wonder about the mileage though and how long it took overall. It seemed as though they mentioned at one time that Jeremy was as much as 17 miles behind before he was able to crack it open on the Thames. Maybe a 30-mile run? If you've got a good pace going on the bike, you should be able to do that in an hour and a half or so, but thats when I was running on country roads with an average speed around 20-22 MPH... It must have been shorter then...

Does anyone know when the TG team are going to harvest the petrol they planted. Even though James fooked it up, they said at the end they sorted it out and would get their petrol next year which is about now isnt it?

Has anyone seen top gear dog this season? :(

Maybe they have just totally forgotten about it, you never know though..

I think that dog is one of Hammond's own (apparently he has quite a few)... Top Gear dog never really looked happy on the programme so its better that they don't force him or her, to go on stage. Last time I saw the dog was on the space shuttle episode in the wind tunnel with goggles on!

They did a 24 hour race in a Diesel 3 Series BMW to use the "petrol" they made. The race has happened but they haven't shown it yet.

Not fully on screen no. However at the beginning of the race, or just before they started I swear to god I could see her running around in the field. Might have been me, but it certainly looked like it.

Didn't they say at the beginning of last season that Top Gear Dog has gone to live with Hammond and wont be on the show because she doesn't like cars or something?

I reckon that the start and finish venues were no more than 10 miles apart (as the crow flies) Didn't JC mention that he had to travel 7 miles more because of the way the Thames bows in and out. That would make his journey one of 17 miles altogether.
