1967 Lamborgini Miura setup: (PP600)


Took the old bull for a spin and found the stock setup too weak. First of all it need a stiffer rear swaybar,
and in this not too tuneable game that means a full race-suspension. Added a adjustable diff + semiracing clutch/flywheel
to fresh up the gearshifts a bit + sportsbrakes. A customiceable ECU comes handy. Kept it soft, near stock. The ECU gives it the SV-versions 385hp. No wings added to this classic

Suspension was set like this: Height F:120, R:115. ARB: 4 on both. Dampers F: 28/50, R:40/50.
Springs F:1.65 R:2.05 Camber F:1.2 R:0.8 Toe in F: in0.25, R: 0.0

Differencial settings: 20- 55- 50


This is still the same old Lambo, just freshed up to be driveable ;)

2017 Nissan GT-R PP700-800 setup: (Deep Forest 1.22`s on RS-tyres)

Put all the good stuff* into the engine including an adjustable ECU. Soft racetyres, + intermediates!
Weight reduction stage 4 (1274kg), height adjustable sports suspension at 124/120, springs to 190/205,
chamber at 1.2/0.8.

Full forcedown F/R, both diffs at 55% accel, F:8 & R:50 dec.

Fast as lightning, wins anything as long as it doesn`t include fuel-consumption or pitstops. Did anyone say Le Mans?

Gearbox set to: 3.00/2.00/1.50/1.20/1.00/0.86 and 3.55 final.

Add an adjustable center diff and set it to F:40 R: 60. This will stabilize the car totally!

One of my wery first GT7 setups, made before any patch but it is still wery compatible!

My PP600 goto so far: 99 Mitshubishi Lancer Evo GSR 480hp on 1128kg. Weery compatible!

A weight reduction stage 2 leaves 1128kilos left, wings added (&maxed) but no "bodykit" (yet)
Still using normal(!) suspension, tuned on intermediates or soft sport. ECU is a must,
medium rpm turbo, racing gearbox set to 270kmh. Semiracing clutch/FW, steeringangle adapter
+ hydraulic handbrake for hairpins. Forcedown F:100 R:260
Adjustable diff, settings: F: 9-55-9 R: 10-55-50 Front/rear diff is 30/70 (stock)
No brake-upgrades on this due to the low weight.

1965 Shelby Cobra race setup

The stock Cobra is surpricingly driveable as it is, but suffers from the short-legged gears and the suspension is to soft if you add more grippy tyres.

Made up this Le Mans racer a while ago, works on most tracks.

Shoppinglist as follows: Buy a rear wing. IRL it would have a lot wider reartyres. American Racing wheels w. spinners is a must :cool:

Cam upgrade, ECU, adjustable diff, racesuspension, racing exhaust, race brakes+pads. Add a power restrictor if you want to try a PP600 race. Shop tyres like crazy.

Suspension:

Height: 115 - 112
ARB: 8 - 8
Damper: 40 - 40
Rebound:50 - 50
Springs: 3.20 - 3.00
Chamber: 1.2 - 0.8
Toe: in 0.00 - 0.00

Differencial: Init 10- Acc 55 - Dec 45

Gearbox at 280kmh
1st:2.78 - 2nd:1.84 - 3rd:1.32 - 4th:1.00 - 5th:0.82
Final gear, rear end: 3.75 = ca 300kmh

Add some RM-tyres and you should be at PP699+

Take it for a spin at Laguna Clubman 700 or 30 min Le Mans!

1971 De Tomaso Pantera PP600 setup

The Pantera becomes a track-toy just by just giving it a gentle tuneup. First; widebody-kit + type B rear wing.
Then add American Racing wheels w. 3-bar spinners; VN427 dark type. The old engine needs a mild overhaulough includig this work:


New camshaft, pistons, bore up, ECU**, race airfilter & race exhaust manifoil. Add sportsbrakes & soft sportstyres
+ intermediates. (= same PP)

Give it a semi-racing 5-speed adjustable gearbox and set it to 220kmh. Then adjust the gears to:
1st: 2.77 2nd:1.77 3rd:1.30 4th:1.00 5th: 0.82 and set the final drive to 4.00

Adjustable diff; initial 10, acc 55, dec 45

Race-suspension is needed to be able to fully tune, set up like this:

Height 119 - 118
ARB 5 - 7
Damper 38 - 40
Rebound 48 - 50
Springs 195 - 245
Chamber 1.2 - 0.8
Toe in 0.20 - 0.00

Aero: F:77 - R:200


To get inside the PP600, set ECU to 97. Have fun!

Bought a Countach yet? Here`s some hot tuning setups.

First; PP600. Give it F & R aero, the original rear wing off course. Weight reduction stage 2 = 1236kg.
All engine upgrades, including airfilter & exhaust = . Racebrakes+pads, ECU, Power Restrictor, Racing gearbox.
Edit: gave it some fancy wide wheels

Suspension:
Height: 109 - 110
ARB: 5- 7
Damper: 40 - 40
Rebound: 50 - 50
Springs: 215 - 235
Chamber: 1.2 - 0.8
Toe: out 0.2 - 0-0

Diff: 10 - 55 - 50

Gearbox (set to ca 260)
1: 2.78
2: 1.78
3: 1.30
4: 1.00
5: 0.80
Final: 4.45

Aero. 75 - 150

Restricted down to 334hp, thought it would be too slow but definetly not. This is a winner!


PP700 setup; unrestrict the engine, ECU on 95 = 619hp. Set final gears to 4.00 & add racetyres.
Easy 30 min Le Mans wins on max fuelsave even without a 6th gear.

PP550: add 97kg to the 600-setup and dominate any 550 race

Lamboorghini Countach 25th Anninersary PP700 setup

Just did two easy wins at Le Mans 30min with this setup. Two-pit strategy,first 3 laps on fuelmap 6
then 2x2 laps at fuelmap 3. Pitted with a 20 sec lead after 3 laps, easy win from there


Gearbox settings: 1:2.763, 2:1.780, 3:1.300, 4:1.000, 5: 0.799, final: 4.00

I want to thank you for the Nissan GT-R tune :bowdown: used it yesterday to FINALLY win the last cafe menu book race! After failing a couple of times, your tune made me do it. Great work.

PD should change the PP for suspension,trans,downforce,lcd and ecu. for example the Tomahawk X glitch.

You couldn't do it in the other GT games, why change it now and have all this mess. I like tuning my cars but with the way it is, it's just a little harder.

Everytime you change something you gotta check the PP limit and it takes longer, for certain races you can screw it up or you have to reduce power so you have a less chance to win.

Hi mate it's a totally dumb and stupid idea that PD has made the PP effects the suspension, LSD, transmission, tires and the downforce. This is totally unrealistic system and they want to call the game the real driving simulator when it comes to tuning, I would say no because in the real world when it comes to tuning, this does not happen so why have it.
If PD want to call GT7 the real driving simulator they should just throw the PP system that effects the tuning side of things of the window, and go back to the right way of tuning up a car in the game.
 
Swapped 1965 Mini Cooper Mk1 setup (might be improved later)

Tuned down to PP500 here, fast enough to win all 3 races in the PP600 European challenge. Hot it up to
some 350hp and add front/rear wings set to 100/100 + soft sportstyres and it is a PP550 rocket. Use no tractioncontrol on this one!

Swapped 1966 VW Beetle Mk1 setup (might be improved later)

Ca compatible with the 65 Mini Cooper. The PP-system is way off in this case, while thw mini can run 400hp and front+rear
wing and still get under PP550 on SS-tyres the Beetle breaks out around 270hp even if it is a lot heavier has no front wing
awayable in this game

NB: Final drive was later adjusted to 4.30

Made this setup a while ago just to try out the car so it`s not hotted up for this race. A supercharger will rise the torque to a level were the rear wheels would slip under accelration even on straight road. Prefer to have a more balanced car, 519hp/640lbs are good numbers for a 1436kg car on sportstyres, just try and see!

No prob to make it faster, this was meant to be a kind of "realistic" streetcar due to power/weight. Hotter versions might appear without any warning
